To study the characteristics of pharmacological effects of property combinations of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) distributing in the stomach meridian based on medicinal property combination, in order to further define the association relationship between properties of TCMs and their pharmacological effects, and build a bridge for the interpenetration and combination between the medicinal property theory of TCMs and their pharmacological effects. On the basis of the studies on the medicinal property theory of TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian and their pharmacological effects, efforts were made to collect relevant data for medicinal properties and pharmacological effects and mine the characteristics of pharmacological effects that were corresponding to relevant medicinal property combination by processing materials related to medicinal properties and pharmacological effects with the association rules method. According to the analysis, TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian with different medicinal property combinations were significantly differentiated in the pharmacological effects, but shared identical pharmacological effects, such as immunological enhancement. In this study, TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian with different medicinal property combinations were taken as the carriers to closely integrate the traditional Chinese medicine theory with the modem study achievements, lay a solid foundation for further developing and enriching the traditional Chinese medical property theory, while providing a new perspective on the development of modem medicine.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2021;44(4):313-316
Objective:To explore the correlation between white matter lesions (WML) at different locations and cognitive function. Methods:The cognitive function of 68 patients with WML in Beijing Electric Power Hospital from January 2019 to May 2020 were assessed with Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA), and the extent of WML were assessed with age-related white matter changes rating scale(ARWMCRs). Correlation between the ARWMCRs scores of different locations and the scores of all locations and the scores of cognitive function, as well as the relationship between the ARWMCRs scores of different locations and each subitem of cognitive function were analyzed. Results:In 68 patients with WML, the degree of lesions in different parts from heavy to light was frontal area, parietooccipital area, basal ganglia area and temporal area, and no white matter lesions were found in infratentorial area. Except the basal ganglia region, the ARWMCRs scores in other regions and the total score were negatively correlated with MoCA score, among which, the ARWMCRs score in left frontal area, right frontal area, left parietal pillow and right parietal pillow region had the strongest correlation with MoCA score( rs=- 0.388, - 0.479, -0.418, -0.502, all P<0.01).In WML patients, the left frontal area was negatively correlated with language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.479, - 0.324, - 0.288, all P<0.01).The ARWMCRs score in right frontal area was negatively correlated with visual spatial and executive function, memory, language, abstraction, and orientation ( rs=- 0.324, -0.272, -0.459, -0.382, -0.352, all P<0.05). The ARWMCRs score in left parietal occipital region was negatively correlated with visual spatial and executive function and memory ( rs =-0.287、- 0.270, all P<0.05). The ARWMCRs score in right parietal occipital region was negatively correlated with memory, language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=-0.366, -0.289, -0.260, - 0.307, all P<0.05).The ARWMCRs score in left temporal region was negatively correlated with language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.248, -0.372, - 0.608, all P<0.05).The ARWMCRs score in right temporal region was negatively correlated with abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.525, -0.465, all P<0.01).The ARWMCRs score in right basal ganglia was negatively correlated with orientation and memory ( rs=- 0.455, - 0.275, all P<0.01), while The ARWMCRs score in left basal ganglia was not correlated with MoCA subitems. Conclusions:The frontal area and parietal occipital area are the most serious lesions in WML patients, and the lesions in these two areas also cause the widest range of cognitive impairment.

OBJECTIVETo quantitatively analyze the effect of modified Biejiajian Pill (BJJP) on the pathological change and degree of albumin induced immune hepatic fibrosis in rats.
METHODSRats were immunized by multiple subcutaneous injections of human serum albumin (8 g/L) , and were medicated in groups respectively after antibody producing, BJJP high-dose (13 g/kg) group, medium-dose (6.5 g/kg) group, low-dose (3.25 g/kg) group, the model group, colchicines (1.0 mg/kg) group, and Ganpikang (22.23 mg/kg) group. Then, caudal vein injection of albumin was given 40 min after medication to induce liver fibrosis. Animals were sacrificed finally to observe the pathological change, and the distribution and content of collagen and plastin were determined quantitatively with HE and Masson stain.
RESULTSBJJP high-, medium-, and low-dose groups could obviously improve the pathological change of the hepatic fibrosis rats (decreasing rate of the total score was 62.50%, 40.75%, and 8.33%, respectively), and the content of collagen reduced markedly (P<0.05, P<0.01).
CONCLUSIONBJJP can effectively prevent and reduce the pathological change of albumin induced immune hepatic fibrosis in rats.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical efficacy of Shenqi Fuzheng Injection (SFI) combined with chemotherapy in treatment of patients with acute leukemia and its effect on the levels of T-lymphocyte subsets (CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8) and serum interferon-gamma(IFN-gamma), interleukin-10 (IL-10) and IL-2.
METHODSSixty-five patients with initial treating acute leukemia were randomly divided into 2 groups, the SFI group (n = 32) treated with SFI plus chemotherapy (CT), the control group (n = 33) treated with CT only. The remission rate, changes of peripheral mature neutrophilic granulocyte (PMNG) count, T-lymphocyte subsets, serum IL-10 and IL-2 before and after treatment were determined.
RESULTSThe remission rate in the two groups showed no obvious difference (P > 0.05). After CT for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd weeks, the PMNG count decreased in both groups, showing significant difference as compared with that before CT (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). The PMNG count at the end of the 3rd and 4th week of CT remounted to higher than that at 1st and 2nd week, and the increment in the SFI group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The levels of CD4, CD4 /CD8, IFN-gamma and IL-2 all increased in the two groups after treatment (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), however, that of IL-10 was significantly decreased (P < 0.01). The difference between the two groups in these criteria after treatment was also significant (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSFI can improve and regulate the immune function of the patients with acute leukemia undergoing CT, it could promote bone marrow cells proliferation and enhance the efficacy.
