Objective To study the relationship among HLA-A alleles, supertype, HPV infection and cervical cancer in Tu Nationality of Hubei province. Methods As a case-control surevy. The comparisons included the comparison between HPV positive cases and HPV positive women in control group, and the comparison between HPV positive cases and HPV negative women in control group. Number of cases was 100 ( HPV positive in 86) , and control was 187 ( HPV positive in 95 and HPV negative in 92). The most polymorphism of 2 and 3 exons of the HLA-A alleles were analyzed by the high-resolution typing method-sequence-based typing( SBT). Results Compar-ison between HPV positive cases and HPV positive control women. Supertype HLA-A3 (P_(corrected) = 0. 005, OR = 2. 36, 95% CI = 1. 45～3. 85) was risk factors. Comparison between HPV positive cases and HPV negative control women, HLA-A * 0206 alleles (P_(corrected)=0. 025,OR =0. 20,95% CI =0. 07～ 0. 58 ) supertype HLA-A2 ( P_(corrected) = 0.005 , OR = 0. 57 ,95% CI = 0. 37 ～ 0. 88 ) was protective factor. Supertype HLA-A3 ( P_(corrected) = 0. 005 , OR = 2. 36, 95% CI = 1. 45～3. 85) was also related to the susceptibility of cervical carcinoma. Conclusion Supertype HLA-A3 is a risk factor of cervical cancer.

Objective To discuss the treatment of dopamine extravasation-induced injury by lidocaine combining dexamethasone. Methods Animal models of dopamine extravasation-induced injury were made using 24 limbs of 6 white mice. These models were divided into 4 groups and given different treatments. Group A was treated with lidocaine combining dexamethasone, group B with lidocaine, group C with normal saline and group D was set as control. The treatment effect was observed. Results The disappearance time of edema in group A was the shortest among the 4 groups and was significantly shorter than that of group C,P＜0.05.Moreover, the pathological changes degree of local tissues in group A were also obviously lower than those of group B,C and D. Conclusion Measures must be taken timely to cope with dopamine extravasation-induced injury. Treatment with lidocaine combining dexamethasone proved to be a prompt, simple and safe method.

Objective To study the outcomes of two intervention strategies on the language development of young children with hearing loss greater than moderate degree by universal newborn hearing screening (UNHS) system.Methods Infants and young children,born from Jan 2002 to Dec 2007 in Shanghai and failed UNHS,were included in this study.They received audiometric evaluations at the Shanghai Children's Hearing and Speech Center.Among those diagnosed with hearing loss greater than moderate degrees,65 were intervened at 6 months and followed up subsequently.According to hearing loss degree and intervention strategies,20 of 65 were included in the hearing aid group(M_(HA)),19 was in the severe hearing aid group(S_(HA)),9 in the profound hearing aid group(P_(HA)),and 17 in the profound cochlear implamation group(P_(CI)).Other 36 were not intervened at 6 months old but followed up also.The control group was 36 normal hearing young children.The hearing losse and speech development were analyzed for statistical study.Results Between the group without intervention and the control group,between the group intervened and without intervention,statistically significant differences were noted (P＜0.05) in the average hearing threshold and the developmental scores.Between the control group and anyone group among M_(HA),S_(HA) and P_(CI),no statistically significant differences (P＞0.05) were noted in the developmental scores.For the same hearing level between the group P_(HA) and P_(CI),statistically significant differences (P＜0.05) were noted in the developmental scores.The developmental scores of P_(HA) was lower than that of P_(CI).Conclusion Early intervention is effective for infants and young children with hearing loss greater than moderate degree.Their speech development is noticeably faster than that of those without any intervention.According to hearing loss degree,it was very important for acquiring the best speech development that selected the most proper intervention mode.

AIM: To establish the quality standard for Baixuan Xitare Tablets (Alone, Herba Euphorbiae Humifusae, Fructus Chebulae, etc.) METHODS: Herba Euphorbiae Humifusae and Scammonia resin were identified by TLC. The content of aloin was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: Herba Euphorbiae Humifusae and Scammonia resin could be identified by TLC. Aloin showed a good linear relation in a range of 0.9360?g～ 2.184?g, r=0.9995(n=5). The average recovery was 98.54% and RSD was 0.67%(n=9), respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple, accurate and specific and can be used for the quality control of Baixuan Xitare Tablets.

According to the theory of microscopic system reform in higher education, a total of 927 college students of different majors from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were investigated by using SIMPP method. It indicated that through promoting the study of self-prepared, learning state and learning effect, students can enhance their learning ability of the admission acceptance. From the perspective of teachers, the students' self-study ability can be fully mobilized using individual person-alized teaching method. Then, the initiative of university education in the teaching and learning can be improved. Ultimately, the efficiency of student learning can be improved.

Interest in learning can not only stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, but also directly affect the quality of higher education. In this paper, the questionnaire of the related factors of college students' interest was designed to carry out micro-system engineering research. The factors as-sociated with college students' interest in learning and their complex relationships were investigated by using methods of systems science and systems engineering. The results shows that the students who can actively participate in after-school learning discussions , feel good in lectures and have clear learning objectives, are interested in learning. And at the same time, the teacher's influence and his active guidance in classroom teaching will raise students' interest in learning. This study provides a more comprehensive basis and clues to improve students' interest in learning and education reform.

Objective To investigate the effects of the traditional Chinese medicine SanZiPaiTanTang combined with ambroxol in the treatment of airway mucus hypersecretion in rats with asthma. Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (8 each): normal group, asthma group, SanZiPaiTanTang group (Chinese medicine group), ambroxol group (Western medicine group), SanZiPaiTanTang combined with ambroxol group (The combinational group). The rat asthma model was reproduced with ovalbumin (OVA), and all these rats were morphologically scored on the 42th and 56th day. Airway inflammation was observed pathologically with HE staining, and the expression of lung tissue mucin (MUC5AC) was examined by immunohistochemistry The IL-13 content in serum was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the proliferation of goblet cells in airway was detected by periodic acid Schiff (PAS) staining. Results The morphological score and airway inflammation decreased in all drug treated groups as compared with those in asthma group. The MUC5AC levels were higher in asthma group than in normal group (0.530 ± 0.035 vs 0.132 ± 0.020, P<0.05), the combination group (0.254 ± 0.029), the Chinese medicine group (0.359 ± 0.025) and the Western medicine group (0.386 ± 0.030) (P<0.05), while the difference between combinational group and Chinese medicine group or Western medicine group was statistically significant (P<0.05). The IL-13 contents markedly decreased in the combinational group, Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group compared with that in asthma group (42.41 ± 3.15, 46.31 ± 3.07, 43.05 ± 2.70 vs 51.65 ± 4.07, P<0.05), and the difference between the combinational group and Chinese medicine group was statistically signifcant (P<0.05), but no signifcant difference was found between the combinational group and the Western medicine group. Te goblet cell hyperplasia area was signifcantly lower in the three drug treated groups than in asthma group (41.21 ± 2.88, 48.10 ± 3.44, 51.06 ± 3.51 vs 63.25 ± 5.02, P<0.05), and the difference between combinational group and Chinese medicine group or Western medicine group was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). Conclusion SanZiPaiTanTang combined with ambroxol can suppress the hypersecretion of airway mucus in asthma rats probably by reducing the expression of IL-13 and the proliferation of goblet cells, and its efficacy is higher than that of Chinese medicine or Western medicine alone.

Objective To explore the effects of electroacupuncture at Shenting (DU24) and Baihui (DU20) on learning and memory ability in the cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rats and its possible mechanism. Methods 45 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham group (n=15), ischemia group (n=15) and electroacupuncture group (n=15). The latter 2 groups were modeled as focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, and the electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture at Shenting (DU24) and Baihui (DU20) for 7 days. They were tested with Morris Water Maze, observed with Nissl's staining. The protein expression of RhoA was detected with Western blotting. Results The learning and memory ability improved in the electroacupuncture group (P<0.05), the injury of the neurons reduced (P<0.05) and the expression of RhoA in hippocampus decreased compared with the ischemia group (P<0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture could ameliorate the learning and memory ability in ischemia- reperfusion rats, which may relate with the inhibition of the expression of RhoA in hippocampus.

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcome of one-level posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) performed with microendoscopic approach.Methods A consecutive series of 56 patients who under went one-level PLIF procedure(24 cases performed with microendoseopic approach and 32 cases with tradition- al open approach)were studied from January 2005 to May 2006.The following data were compared between 2 groups with 12 to 27 months follow-up:estimated blood loss,postoperative drainage,transfusion needs,surgi- cal time,length of hospital stay,postoperative back pain by visual analogue scale,complications,and the clinical and radiographic results.Results The microendoscopic approach was found to have a significantly less blood loss,less postoperative drainage,less needs of transfusion,less postoperative back pain,shorter re- covery time and shorter length of hospital stay.However,the microendoscopic approach needed significantly longer surgical time.There was no significant difference between 2 groups in the aspects of the complications and the clinical and radiographic results.Conclusion The one-level PLIF performed with microendoscopic approach minimize estimated blood loss,length of hospital stay,postoperative back pain.It also shows the ex- cellent surgical efficacy of the microendoscopic approach for suitable patients.
