Journal of International Oncology 2012;(11):870-872
The S100 proteins are a multi-gene calcium-binding family, which are differently expressed in a variety of tumors. It is found to be associated with tumor invasion and metastasis. As a tumor-associated biomarkers, unraveling the relationship between S100 and prostate cancer progression as well as molecular mechanisms, would provide an important basis for the clinical diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring.

Objective To study Baizhu's inhibitory effect on S180 sarcoma growth and its effect on Bcl-2 expression in tumor-transfected mice. Methods S180 cells were subcutaneously injected into 60 healthy Kunming mice. Meanwhile the mice were dealt with MTX or Baizhu, separately; the weight of tumor was measured in the following two weeks; the expression of Bcl-2 was detected by RT-PCR. Results The tumor's weight in Baizhu group was lower than that in model group, but higher than in MTX group (P<0.05), but Baizhu's inhibition was not associated with its dose (P>0.05), and Baizhu's rate of tumor growth inhibition was lower than that of MTX. Compared with that in control group, Bcl-2 expression was lower in Baizhu group obviously. Conclusion Baizhu can inhibit tumor growth and serve as an adjuvant drug in tumor therapy.

Aim To study the effect of oxymatrine (OMT)on protecting human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs)from toxicity induced by high glucose in vitro. Methods The HUVECs were cultured with medium containing different concentrations of glucose or OMT. The cells were randomly divided into 6 groups:5.5 mmol·L -1 control group(Control),22.2 mmol·L -1 high glucose (22.2 mmol·L -1 ),44.4 mmol·L -1 high glucose (44.4 mmol·L -1 ),control+OMT(control +OMT),22.2 mmol·L -1 high glu-cose +OMT(22.2 mmol·L -1 +OMT),44.4 mmol ·L -1 high glucose +OMT (44.4 mmol · L -1 +OMT).The protective effect of oxymatrine was as-sessed by MTS assays. The expression of A2B in HU-VECs was detected by Real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR)and Western Blot methods. Results The glucose was shown to have caused cytotoxicity in HU-VECs.Oxymatrine (3 μmol·L -1 )was found to have protected HUVECs from glucose toxicity effectively, and reduced the expression of A2B significantly.Con-clusion Oxymatrine can obviously protect HUVECs from cytotoxicity induced by high glucose and the effect is performed partly by decreasing A2B expression.
4.Perioperative nursing of 83 patients with sialolithiasis treated by sialoendoscope
Chinese Journal of Nursing 2010;45(1):39-40
This paper introduces the perioperative nursing of 83 sialolithiasis patients undergoing sialolithectomy by sialoendoscope. The key points of successful nursing care were careful preoperative psychological nursing and equipment preparation, correct and skilled intraoperative cooperation, and early postoperative health instruction. As a result, all the patients underwent the surgery succesfully and recovered well except 3 cases who needed gland removal later.

After the background, main contents and paper writers of the medical journal Yi Chao founded in Nanjing during the late period of Republic of China were analyzed with stress laid on its characteristics of nursing experiences and surgical treatment procedures for diseases, its historical values in studying the debate on traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the history of public health and medical cause during the period of Republic of China were elaborated.
6.Quantitative Detection of Transforming Growth Factor-?_1 and Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1 in Rat with Tubulointerstitial Fibrosis
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
Objective To observe the expressions of transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) mRNA in tubulointerstitial fibrosis( TIF ) rats, and explore the effects of TGF-?1 and PAI-1 on TIF and the interaction between TGF-?1 and PAI-1.Methods Sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (SOR group,n=30) and unilateral urethral obstruction group(UUO group,n=30).TIF model was established via UUO.At d 7,d 14,d 21 after operation,10 rats of every group were killed to obtain renal samples.Histological changes were observed in tubulointerstitium injury under microscope;mRNA and proteins of TGF-?1 and PAI-1 were detected by real-time PCR assays and Western blotting respectively at d 7,d 14,d 21 after experiment onset.SPSS 10.0 software was used to analyze data. Results 1.HE,Masson staining of renal tissues of all groups indicated that there were no fibrosis in SOR rats, there were vacuole degeneration in tubular epithelial cells and inflammatory cell infiltration in tubulointerstitial in UUO rats at d 7,fibrosis aggravated gradually and became severe fibrosis at d 21.2.The expression locations of TGF-?1 and PAI-1 were renal sites of fibrosis by immunohistochemical staining. The mRNA and proteins of TGF-?1 in rats from SOR groups were lower than those of UUO groups at d 7,d 14,d 21(P
7.Application of different colorants in the surgery of idiopathic macular hole
International Eye Science 2017;17(10):1849-1851
Internal limiting membrane ( ILM) peeling is commonly used in the operation of idiopathic macular hole ( IMH ) surgery. The success of ILM peeling has been greatly improved with the assistance of vital dyes. Currently, several kinds of vital dyes such as indocyanine green ( ICG ) , brilliant blue G ( BBG ) are applied in the ILM staining. However, all of the vital dyes have potential toxicity and side effects on the retina. In recent years, many kinds of dyes and staining improved emerge in endlessly. This paper reports the progress in the application of different colorants in the operation of IMH.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(09):-
To promote the understanding and practice of evidence-based medicine (EBM) in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). The transition of CABG graft materials from saphenous vein to arterial conduits were perceived using the principles of EBM. The arterial conduits were increasingly performed based on the principles and practice of EBM, therefore the postoperatively long-term graft patency rate, survival rate, and free cardiac event rate were significantly improved. CABG outcomes can be significantly improved by using arterial conduits based on principles of EBM.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(12):-
[Objective]To investigate the clinical value of OCM approach of minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty(MIS-THA).[Method]From February 2005 to December 2006,18 cases of MIS-THA were performed with OCM approach technique. The mini-incision through the intermuscular interval provided a good exposure for total hip replacement, preserved muscle integrity and kept the posterior capsule intact.A two-stage osteotomy of femoral neck was conducted.Specialized acetabular and femoral instruments were applied to fix the prosthesis.[Result]The average length of skin incision was 9.2 cm,the blood loss and drainage were 230 ml and 90 ml,respectively. At 6 months after operation, the mean Harris scores of hip increased from 46.2 to 87.1 for all cases. One case of femoral fracture around prosthesis and one of excessive anteversion were observed.[Conclusion]OCM approach brought satisfactory clinical outcomes when applied in MIS-THA.This surgical technique shows an obvious learning curve, but requires specialized instruments.
