Oyster protein was extracted from fresh oyster using salting-out method. It was determined by Kjeldahl procedure that the protein content was about 38. 6% and free amino-ni-trogen content of total nitrogen was about 21. 6%. Hydrolytic characteristic of oyster protein was analyzed by hydrolytic enzymes. SDS-PAGE results showed there were 4 types of protein zones. And the average molecular weight was 16172, 17633, 43227 and 57909, respectively.

?AIM:To compare the corrected vision and improvement of visual quality after wearing rigid gas permeable corneal lens ( RGPCL) or spectacles in aphakic patients.?METHODS: We selected 29 aphakic patients ( 29 eyes ) caused by different reasons wearing RGPCL and spectacle. The corrected vision, eye condition and visual quality were observed and all patients were followed up for 6mo.? RESULTS: RGPCL was better than spectacle on corrected vision (P<0.05).The patients who wore RGPCL for long had no corneal complications reported. The patients who wore RGPCL had better subjective visual quality than those wore spectacle.?CONCLUSION: RGPCL is a good choice for correcting high myopia and astigmatism for aphakic patients. The patients'compliance is good. Wearing RGPL long has high safety for patients'ocular surface.

Prostate cancer is the most prevalent malignancies in elderly men. At present, gene therapy is the most po-tential treatment for late-stage prostate cancer. However, virus vector or nonvirus vector are less safety, weaker targeting function and higher immunogenic. Ultrasound microcapsular contrast agent as a drug transporter is a new type of disease tar-geted treatment strategies. It has provided a high-targeted, an effective and a safety gene therapy for prostate cancer, and brings a new hope for late-stage prostate cancer patients. This article aims to summarize the recent progress in using the mi-crobubble technology in prostate cancer.

China Oncology 2016;26(11):939-942
Background and purpose:Postoperative sore throat (POST) is one of the common complaints of patients after radical thyroidectomy. Tracheal intubation is the main cause of POST. This study compared the effect of intubation with visual endoscopy and general laryngoscope on POST in patients undergoing radical thyroidectomy. Methods:One hundred patients (18-60 years, ASAⅠ-Ⅱ) undergoing elective radical thyroidectomy were randomized into two groups:patients in group A (n=50) were intubated with visual endoscope while patients in group B (n=50) were intubated with general laryngoscope. Endotracheal tube cuffs pressure was maintained at 20mmHg in all patients. Visual analogue scale (VAS) and Bruggrmann comfort scale (BCS) were recorded at the time points of 1, 6 and 24 h after extubation. Results:Compared with group B, the incidence of POST in group A was signifcantly reduced (42%vs 64%, P=0.027). The VAS of group A was lower than that of group B (3.05±1.56 vs 4.25±1.30, 3.05±1.56 vs 4.01±1.98, 2.72±1.77 vs 3.31±1.12) (P<0.05). The BCS of group A was higher than that of group B (0.99±0.46 vs 0.69±0.30, 1.95±0.47 vs 1.51±0.58, 2.82±0.87 vs 2.31±0.72) (P<0.05). Conclusion:Using visual endoscopic intubation can reduce the incidence of the POST in patients undergoing radical thyroidectomy.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
Teaching the foreign students clinical medicine in English in the earlier period of foreign students education has played a vital role but also has such problems as teachers, difficulties in the later teaching and so on.Through practice we find that it is necessary to transit the mode from teaching in English to bilingual education, and finally teaching in Chinese in the internship to conform with the present medical foreign students education situation. Therefore ability of teaching in English and proficiency in Chinese are needed to improved as soon as possible.

Objective To explore the mechanism of anti-tumor effects of transferring tumor-specif-ic lymphocytes obtained from pre-immunized BALB/c mice with inactive rolL-21 tumor vaccine (mIL-21-Sp2/0)to syngeneic mice, associated with mIL-21 tumor vaccine immunization, in the condition of cyclo-phosphamide (Cy)-induced lymphopenia. Methods Activated lymphocytes of spleen and lymph nodes ob-tained from pre-immunlzed syngeneic mice with irradiated mIL-21-Sp2/0 cells were infused into BALB/cmice treated with Cy 2 days before, subsequently vaccinated with mlL-21 tumor vaccine, after 7 days, chal-lenged with Sp2/0 tumor cells, observed the growth of tumor of mice. T lymphocyte subsets differentiation was measured by flow cytometry (FCM) analysis. The proliferation and cytotoxie activities of activated lym-phocytes were analyzed by FCM, respectively, staining with CFSE and 7-AAD. The number of IFN-γ-secre-ting cells was evaluated by ELISPOT. Results The lymphopenic mice were transferred with activated lym-phocytes and inoculated with raiL-21 tumor vaccine might provide superior anti-tumor immunoprotection, re-tard tumor growth of the mice. The proliferating capabilities and killing rate of transferred tumor Ag-specific lymphocytes enhanced obviously, the number of IFN-γ-secreting cells was significantly higher compared with the control groups. Conclusion Under Cy-induced lymphopenia condition, tumor Ag-specific lymphocytes sensitized by raiL-21 tumor vaccine were transferred to mice and immunized with mlL-21 tumor vaccine at the same time, benefit the proliferation of transferred effective cells and immune cells itself, assist to form and sustain special anti-tumor effects.
