OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for implementing pharmaceutical care for secondary prevention of patients with myocardial infarction and improving medication compliance by clinical pharmacist. METHODS:A questionnaire survey was con-ducted for 200 secondary prevention patients with myocardial infarction in our hospital, and divided into good medication compli-ance group and poor medication compliance group by Morisky-Green(MG)standard scoring evaluation, and the reasons affecting the medication compliance were statistically analyzed. RESULTS:Totally 200 questionnaires were sent out,200 were effectively re-ceived with effective recovery of 100%. 137 patients showed good medication compliance and 62 patients showed poor medication compliance, there were statistically significant differences in the age, monthly income, whether there was a medical insurance or not, whether they live alone or not and whether they had more than 4 oral drugs between 2 groups(P<0.05). The reasons of poor medication compliance were forgetting to take the medicine, too many kinds of medicine, too expensive to afford the medicine, lacking the knowledge of the disease and poor medication guide. CONCLUSIONS:The poor medication compliance of patients with secondary prevention of myocardial infarction is closely related with elder age,low income,no medical insurance, living alone, and taking more than 4 kinds of medicine. Clinical pharmacists should play their professional expertise, repeatedly supervise patients'medication compliance and finally improve the efficacy and patients'quality of life.

Objective:To investigate the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation therapy on the exercise capacity and dyspnea of persons with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods:One hundred COPD patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each of 50. Both groups were given routine medication, while the observation group was additionally provided with health guidance, oxygen therapy, respiratory physiological therapy and exercise for 3 months. Before and after the intervention, both groups′ forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and the first and second forced expiratory volume as a percentage of FEV (FEV1%) were measured. The subjects′ motor functioning was evaluated using the 6-minute walk test. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and immunoturbidimetry quantified their expression of inflammatory factors. And their ability in the activities of daily living (ADL) was evaluated using the Barthel index. The COPD quality of life questionnaire (CRQ) was also used to assess their life quality. Results:After the intervention, the average clinical efficacy in the observation group was 96%, significantly higher than that of the control group (80%). Moreover, the average FEV1, FEV1%, 6-minute walk test time of the former group were all significantly better than before the intervention and better than the control group′s results after the intervention. Their average CRP, IL-6 and TNF-α levels were all significantly lower as well. After the intervention, the observation group′s average total CRQ score and its average scores on the instrument′s emotion, fatigue, wheezing and disease control components were all better than the control group′s averages. The observation group′s average ADL score was also significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusions:Supplementing conventional medication with pulmonary rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the lung function, motor functioning and life quality of COPD patients. It can also lower their level of serum inflammatory factors.
4.Randomized controlled clinical study on effect of Chinese compound changjitai in treating diarrheic irritable bowel syndrome.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2003;23(11):823-825
OBJECTIVETo verify the clinical efficacy and safety of the proven Chinese Compound Changjitai (CJT), in treating the diarrheic irritable bowel syndrome (DIBS).
METHODSRandomized controlled open clinical trial design was adopted, 45 patients were randomly divided into two groups, CJT and pinaverium bromide (PVB) were given as treated and control agent respectively. IBS scoring system (BSS), defecation state questionnaire (DSQ) were used to record the changes of the patients' main symptoms before and after treatment.
RESULTSThe total effective rate of CJT group was 83.3%, while that of PVB was 73.3%. CJT was superior in efficacy to that of PVB in improving stool quality, reducing defecation episodes of diarrheic patients, alleviating tenesmus symptoms, decreasing bellyache days and ameliorating abdominal distention. Any drug-related adverse reaction was not seen.
CONCLUSIONThe efficacy of CJT in treating DIBS is definite and without any toxic and adverse effects.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2005;29(1):23-26
A clinical laboratory information system consists of two parts--the information system and the management system. Its development is based on scientific and rational lab-workflow, consulting the international standard HL7 Protocol, and combined with barcode technique and instrument communication. The information system mainly manages the data which come from the whole lab testing process while the management system is dominating the lab office work and management decisions.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
A HPLC method of analysis of Monascus citrinin was established. More than 30 strains of Monascus spp. were cultured in steamed rice at solid state or in MSG liquid medium composed of monosodium glutamate as sole nitrogen source and glucose as sole carbon to investigate their ability of producing citrinin. The results indicated that most of the Monascus strains are able to produce citrinin. MSG medium can be used as a specific culture medium to qualitatively identify if the strain is the potential citrinin producer. But to confirm whether the Monascus strains are potential citrinin producers, these strains should be cultured in several cultivation methods, as the culture states and culture conditions influence the citrinin production greatly.

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
Growth patterns of trichome and contaminative bacteria in Spirulina sp. liquid culture were observed, and it was found that the number of neutral and alkalophilic bacteria was always 105~106 times of that of Spirulina sp. trichome. It would be very difficult to get real pure Spirulina sp. strain by classical methods of dilution plate, capillary and single trichome selecting methods. A great deal of contaminative bacteria was washed out by two pretreatment processes. Low speed centrifugation was designed to wash the strains which usually deposit at bottom, and filtration method was designed to treat the strains usually floating at surface. Sandwich plate and dilution plate were designed for the purification of the mobile strains and non-mobile strains, respectively. A lot of strains were purified by the above processes and pure single trichome formed pure colonies on plates.

Chinese Journal of Hypertension 2007;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between refractory hypertension and renal hemodynamics in end stage renal diseases (ESRD) patients. Methods ESRD patients were classified into:patients with refractory hypertension (group A) and patients with normal blood pressure(group B).Renal hemodynamic indices were ex- amined by duplex ultrasonography.Fasting serum lipid (TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,Lp(a),ox-LDL) and serum parathyroid hormane (PTH) were determined in all patients. Results Significant differences were found in renal hemodynamic indices such as peak systolic velocity (PSV),mean flow velocity (MV),pulsatility index (PI),renal- aortic ratio (RAR) and in clinical index such as Lp(a) and ox-LDL between the two group.Refractory hyperten- sion patients had lower renal hemodynamic indices and higher Lp(a) and ox-LDL levels than in patients with con- trolled BP.Logistic regression analysis revealed that refractory hypertension was related with PSV,EDV,Pl and RAR,but not relevant with sex, age, dialysis time,hematocrit,BUN,creatinine,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C, PTH,MV and RI.Conclusion Atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis and severe disorder in renal hemodynamics is likely the cause for refractory hypertention in ESRD patients. The rise of serum Lp(a) and ox-LDL might acceler- ate renal artery atherosclerosis.
