Objective To assess the effect and influencing factors on 131I treatment for cervical lymph node metastasis (LNM) after operation in patients with PTC.Methods PTC patients (n =117;45 males,72 females;average age (45.17± 15.50) years) with postoperative cervical LNM from January 2010 to December 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.LNM was diagnosed by surgical pathology, imaging results and clinical follow-up.Single factor analysis was performed in age, gender, operation mode,TNM stage,131I treatment time and other factors. The results for 131I treatment effect included CR,PR,NC.Two-sample t test and x2 test were used. Results Among the 117 PTC patients with postoperative LNM,53 (45.3%) cases had non-131 I-avid metastasis.Fifty of the 64 (54.7%) patients with 131I-avid metastasis were treated with 131I.Nineteen patients (38.0%) achieved CR,22 (44.0%) achieved PR,and 9 (18.0%) showed invalid results.Fourteen of the 64 patients underwent another cervical lymph node dissection.Nine patients achieved CR,5 patients achieved PR,and 4 PR patients were then treated with 131I and finally achieved CR.Single factor analysis showed that the influencing factors of non-131I-avid lymph node included patients' age (t =3.459),serum Tg level (x2 =6.698) and metastasis with 1s F-FDG uptake (x2 =26.928;all P<0.05).The influencing factors of 131I treatment effect included lymph node dissection procedure (x2 =6.487),unilateral or bilateral lesion (x2=5.187) and LNM size (x2=8.099;all P<0.05).Conclusions 131I treatment is ineffective for nearly 50% of patients with non-131I-avid LNM.The influencing factors of 131I treatment effect include the lymph node dissection procedure, unilateral or bilateral lesions and LNM size.

To observe the clinical efficacy of nicorandil for treating the patient with cardiac syndrome X (CSX) and its impact on vascular endothelial function. Methods: A total of 140 CSX patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: Control group, the patients received conventional anti-angina therapy and Nicorandil group, based on conventional anti-angina therapy, the patients received additional oral nicorandil treatment. n=70 in each group. All patients received resting emission computed tomography (ECT) and treadmill exercise ECG stress test (TET). Blood levels of endothelin (ET-1), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and nitric oxide (NO) were examined before and 3 months after treatment. Results: Compared with pre-treatment condition, the attack frequency of angina pectoris and positive rate of ECT were decreased after treatment in both groups, P<0.05; in Nicorandil group, the suspicious positive rate and positive rate of TET were reduced after treatment, P<0.05. Compared with Control group, Nicorandil group had the much lower suspicious positive rate and positive rate of TET after treatment, P<0.05. Blood tests indicated that compared with pre-treatment condition, ET-1 and hs-CRP were decreased, NO was increased after treatment in both groups, all P<0.05; blood levels of ET-1, hs-CRP and NO were different between 2 groups after treatment, all P<0.05. Conclusion: Nicorandil could inhibit inflammatory factors, elevate endothelial function and therefore improve micro vascular angina symptoms, increase exercise tolerance obviously.

The comparative analysis of the biological characterization and the genetic background study of EV71 circulating strains is commonly recognized as basic work necessary for development of an effective EV71 vaccine. In this study, we sequenced five EV71 circulating strains, isolated from Fuyang, Hefei, Kunming and Shenzhen city of China and named them FY-23, FY-22, H44, K9 and S1 respectively. The sequence alignment demonstrated their genotypes be C4. The genetic distance of the VP1 gene from these isolates suggested that they were highly co-related with genetic identity similar to other previously reported EV71 strains in China. Additionally, these strains were identified to display some obvious proliferation dynamics and plaque morphology when propagated in Vero cells. However, a distinctive difference in pathogenic ability in neonatal mice was found. Some differences in cross neutralization test & immunogenic analysis were also found. All these results are related to the biological characterization of circulating EV71 strains in China and aid in the development of an EV71 vaccine in the future.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of Tongluo Xingnao effervescent tablets on learning and memory capacity and expression of Na(+)-K(+)-ATPase in hippocampus of rats with chronic cerebral ischemia-induced learning and memory dysfunction model.
METHODThe 2-VO method was used to establish sd rat model learning and memory dysfunction induced by chronic cerebral ischemia. The 50 rats in the successfully established model were randomly divided into the model control group, the Dihydroergotoxine Mesylate tablets group (0.7 mg x kg(-1), Tongluo Xingnao effervescent tablets high dose (7.56 g x kg(-1)), middle dose (3.78 g x kg(-1)) and low dose (1.59 g x kg(-1)) groups and the sham operation group (n = 10) as the control group. The groups were orally given 10 ml x kg(-1) x d(-1) drugs for consecutively 90 days. On the 86th day, Morris water maze was adopted for them. On the 90th day, a leaning and memory capacity test was held. The brain tissues were fixed with 10% formaldehyde and observed for pathomorphism after routine slide preparation and staining. The expression of hippocampal Na(+)-K(+)-ATPase was detected with immunohistochemistry and image quantitative analysis.
RESULTCompared with the model group, all of Tongluo Xingnao effervescent tablets groups showed significant decrease in the escape latency at the 5th day in the Morris water maze, and notable increase in the frequency of the first quadrant dwell, the frequency passing the escape platform and the frequency entering effective area (p < 0.05). According to the pathomorphological detection, the control group showed a significantly higher pathological score than the sham operation group (p < 0.01), the middle dose group showed a significantly lower pathological score than the model group (p < 0.05). According to the immunohistochemistical detection, the model control group showed a remarkably lower mean OD value of Na(+)-K(+)-ATPase than the sham operation group (p < 0.05), high and middle dose groups showed a significantly higher mean od value than the model control group (p < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONTongluo Xingnao effervescent tablets can improve the learning and memory capacity, reduce pathological changes of hippocampal tissues of rats with chronic cerebral ischemia-induced learning and memory dysfunction model, and promote the expression of Na(+)-K(+)-ATPase in hippocampus.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2009;23(6):461-463
OBJECTIVETo analyze and predict the structure and function of mosquito densovirus (MDV) nostructual protein1 (NS1).
METHODSUsing different bioinformatics software, the EXPASY pmtparam tool, ClustalX1.83, Bioedit, MEGA3.1, ScanProsite, and Motifscan, respectively to comparatively analyze and predict the physic-chemical parameters, homology, evolutionary relation, secondary structure and main functional motifs of NS1.
RESULTSMDV NS1 protein was a unstable hydrophilic protein and the amino acid sequence was highly conserved which had a relatively closer evolutionary distance with infectious hypodermal and hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV). MDV NS1 has a specific domain of superfamily 3 helicase of small DNA viruses. This domain contains the NTP-binding region with a metal ion-dependent ATPase activity. A virus replication roller rolling-circle replication(RCR) initiation domain was found near the N terminal of this protein. This protien has the biological function of single stranded incision enzyme.
CONCLUSIONThe bioinformatics prediction results suggest that MDV NS1 protein plays a key role in viral replication, packaging, and the other stages of viral life.
