3.Methotrexate in type 1 diabetes mellitus:advances research
Military Medical Sciences 2015;(6):476-479
Type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM),also known as insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM), is classified as an autoimmune disease.Academia currently define it as one of the important autoimmune diseases(IAIDs).The most significant pathophysiological characteristics of T1DM are the pathological humoral and cellular autoimmune response which results in damage to pancreaticβ-cell and absolute reduction insulin. Thus, the mainstream traditional therapy for T1DM has been to chronically replenish insulin or substitutes.Nevertheless, this approach may generate a number of side effects, especially hypoglycemia reaction, hypoglycemic coma and insulin resistance. In recent years, the clinical use of methotrex-ate(MTX) as an immunity inhibitor or regulator aiming at pathogenesis of T1DM has received increasing attention and will become another significant case where an old drug is used for new purposes. The advances in research on MTX in T1DM are discussed in this paper.
4.Pulse wave: the bridge connecting traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2008;6(9):891-6
Pulse wave, a research focus in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, which contains a wealth of human physiological and pathological information, has always been the concern of medical practitioners. On the basis of the review on the development of the pulse wave theory and its applications, the existing problems in this field are discussed in this paper. On the basis of the status quo of pulse wave information extraction methods and the utilization of pulse wave in traditional Chinese and Western medicine, a more in-depth study on pulse wave is proposed to make it a bridge connecting traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine.
5.In-stent restenosis of carotid artery
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2021;29(4):294-297
Carotid artery stenosis is one of the main causes of ischemic stroke. Carotid artery stenting has gradually become a mainstream treatment approach of carotid stenosis, and the in-stent restenosis is its most common late complications, which restricts the development of carotid artery stenting. This article reviews the epidemiology, imaging evaluation, pathophysiological mechanism, and prevention and treatment measures of carotid in-stent restenosis.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(11):-
Objective To explore the feasibility of laparoscopic splenectomy (LS) in the management of ruptured spleen. Methods Laparoscopic splenectomy was performed in 8 cases of ruptured spleen in this hospital from August 2004 to May 2005. Results Laparoscopic splenectomy was accomplished successfully in 7 cases and a conversion to hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy (HALS) was needed in 1 case. The operation time was 150~200 min (mean, 180 min). The intraoperative blood loss was 600~5 500 ml (mean, 2 200 ml). There were 5 cases of type Ⅱ rupture and 3 cases of type Ⅲ rupture. The postoperative recovery was uneventful and no complications were encountered. Conclusions[WTBZ] Laparoscopic splenectomy is a safe and feasible option for the management of ruptured spleen.

Objective To study the relationship between the serum paraoxonase-1(PON1) activity, PON1Q/R192 polymorphism and atherosclerotic thrombotic cerebral infarction(ATCI) in Chinese Han people. Methods In 48 cases with ATCI and 55 normal controls (NC group), serum PON1 activity was assayed by infrared spectrophotometer;the PON1Q/R192 polymorphism was determined by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism. Results Serum PON1 acuivity in the ATCI group was significantly lower than that in NC group[(74.41?18.85) U/ml,(113.65?26.64) U/ml, P

Objective To improve the safety and decrease the blood loss during resection of retroperitoneal tumour (RRT).[WT5”HZ]Method [WT5”BZ]We analysed retrospectively 54 patients whose blood loss were over 3?000?ml during RRT in our hospital from 1983 to 1998.The blood loss was over 5?000?ml each in 22 patients, and over 8?000?ml each in 7 patients, the maximum blood loss was 10?000?ml.[WT5”HZ]Result [WT5”BZ]Among the 54 patients whose blood loss were over 3?000?ml and up during RRT, 17 sank into shock and 2 of them died.[WT5”HZ]Conclusion [WT5”BZ]The preoperative evaluation and preparation are important to operative safety. We emphasize intraoperative management of massive bleeding during RRT.
