18 dogs with hemorrhagic shock were divided into 3 groups. Objective: To investigate the effects and underlying mechanism of polysaccharides from Radix Saplshnikoviae on the immune factors in rats with allergic rhinitis induced by OVA.Methods: Firstly, 0.3mg OVA, 30mg Al(OH)3 and 1ml saline were mixed and intraperitoneally injected for the initial immunization, and then 200μg OVA (4%) was given once a day by nasal dripping since the 15th day for the second immunization to establish the allergic rhinitis model.Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into the allergic rhinitis (AR) model group, the polysaccharides from Radix Saplshnikoviae (600 mg·kg-1, 300mg·kg-1, 150 mg·kg-1) groups, the positive (Biyankang, 400 mg·kg-1) group and the normal control group.After the 14-day intragastric administration, blood was collected from abdominal aorta and serum was obtained.The levels of immune factors and inflammatory factors in serum were examined by radioimmunoassay.Results: The positive group and the polysaccharide groups could inhibit the typical symptoms of allergic rhinitis including sneezing, nasal scratching and running nose in varying degrees, and alleviate the inflammatory reaction symptoms.After the drug intervention, the positive group and the polysaccharide groups could down-regulate the expression of immune cell factors IL-4, TNF-A, VCAM-1 and IL-5, enhance IL-12 and INF-γ expression levels, and suppress the generation and release of inflammation factors IgE, HA, LTC4 and PGD2, and the differences were significant when compared with the model group (P＜0.05).The dose-effect relationship was not too obvious among the polysaccharide from Radix Saposhnikoviae groups respectively at high, medium and low dose, and the high dose group was best among them.Conclusion: The polysaccharides from Radix Saplshnikoviae exhibit curative effect for AR, which can down-regulate the serum levels of IL-4 and IL-5, up-regulate the serum levels of IFN-γ and IL-12, adjust Th1/Th2 lymphocyte subsets balance and body immune response and reduce nasal mucosa allergic inflammation, and the underlying mechanism may be related with reducing the generation and release of immune factors in AR induced by OVA.

To construct a eukaryotic vector and establish a gastric cancer cell model highly expressing zinc ribbon protein gene ZNRD1, ZNRD1 cDNA was inserted into multiple cloning sites of the pcDNA3 1 + with molecular cloning technique. The recombinant vector was identified by endonuclease digestion and transfected into SGC7901 cells by nucleus microinjection. Northern blot was used to detect the expression of ZNRD1 in cells. The results showed that ZNRD1 was successfully cloned into pcDNA3 1 + and microinjected into SGC7901. Therefore, a gastric cancer cell model highly expressing ZNRD1 has been established and can be used for further functional research of this gene.

Objective To compare effect of trichosanthin and methotrexate in the treatment of uterine scar pregnancy by a multi-center study. Methods 90 uterine scar pregnancy patients were selected from department of obstetrics and gynecology,in xinyang central hospital,the second affiliated hospital of zhengzhou university,zhumadian central hospital,using random number table divided into 2 groups.The control group of 45 cases were treated by methotrexate,gluteal muscle injection,50 mg one time,and took mifepristone 50 mg,two times a day,a week for a course of treatment;45 cases in the experimental group,were treated with trichosanthin,intramuscular injection of 1.2 mg/time,two times a day,and oral administration of bloven,0.6 g/d,a week for a course of treatment.The end of a course of treatment,2 groups of patients before and after treatment were compared of the serum progesterone level,β-HCG,side reactions after treatment.Results After treatment,progesterone levels were significantly reduced,and the experimental group levels were lower than the control group obviously,the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Serum -HCG level after the treatment significantly reduced,and the experimental group in serum -HCG levels were significantly lower,with statistical difference (P <0.05 ). Comparison of adverse reaction of the patients,the experimental group was obviously lower than control group,with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion For the treatment of uterine scar pregnancy,trichosanthin and methotrexate have certain effect,but trichosanthin could lower serum progesterone,β-HCG levels more significantly than methotrexate,trichosanthin group side reaction rate is low.

Galanin is a peptide with wide-ranging effects,especially within the central,peripheral nervous system and endocrine system.Many tumors of neuroendocrine origin,and also an increasing number of non-neuroendocrine cancers,have been shown to express galanin and/or its receptors.Expression of galanin peptide has been detected in pheochromocytoma,squamous cell carcinoma,pituitary adenoma,gastrointestinal cancers and so on.Galanin peptide plays an important role in tumori-genesis and progression of many kinds of tumors.Therefore,studying the roles of galanin and its receptors are helpful for diagnosis and treatment of tumors.

Objective　To investigate the effect of breast milk and some other kinds of infant foods on the adhesion of EPEC to Hela cells and intestinal mucosa so as to understand the possible protective mechanism of breast-feeding in the intestine of infants. Methods　The adhesion of EPEC to Hela cells and intestinal mucosa were examined by cell culture, bacterial adherence test, light and electron microscopy in the mediums that contain breast milk, cow's milk and formula milk or contain ecal filtrate of the infants fed by breast milk and formula milk respectively. Results　Adhesive index for EPEC to Hela cells was significantly lower in the medium containing breast milk than in control and so did in the fecal medium containing breast fed infants than artificial feeding infants. Conclusion　Breast milk may inhibit the adhesion of EPEC to infant intestine.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of CT-guided transgluteal approach for drainage of deep pelvic abscesses. Methods From April 2000 to August 2007, 12 patients with deep pelvic abscesses underwent CT-guided transgluteal drainage. The clinical data, number of drainage cathete rsplaced, amount of drain, duration of placement, complications and follow-up were retrospectively analysed.Results One drainage catheter was successfully placed for each patient. The amount of abscess drained was30 to 180 ml (mean 52 ml) and the duration of placement was 6 to 34 days (mean 11 days). No major complications occurred. Conclusion The transgluteal approach to the drainage of deep pelvic abscess under CT guidance was safe and effective.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the influence of intermittent catheterization methods and indwelling catheterization methods on the urinary tract infection in patients with spinal cord injury.METHODS After eighty cases of spinal cord injury,the urine retention patients caused by bladder dysfunction were respectively used intermittent catheterization and indwelling catheterization.The urinary tract infection rates of regucally urine culture were compared.By use of intermittent catheterization,the bladder function was trained.Bacteria culture and identification of the urine from the patients were conducted after 15 or 30 days of intermittent catheterization and indwelling catheterization respectively.RESULTS The rates of urinary tract infection(colony count≥1?10 CFU/ml) after 15 or 30 days of intermittent catheterization were 32.6% and 31.5%,respectively.Which were significantly lower than those of indwelling catheterization(100%)(P

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of most common used regimens against brucellosis.Methods: Search PubMed and CENTRAL database of Cochrane library for all literatures written in English about treatment of brucellosis and CBM database for all RCTs for Brucellosis in Chinese from the year 1985 till now.Assess the quality of the included literatures using Cochrane Collaboration Risk of Bias form.Combine data of relapse,total therapeutic failure,and adverse reaction of regimens for treating human brucellosis.Results: 17 literatures were included.Combined antibiotic therapeutic regimens such as DR,DS,QR and DG were compared.Rate of total therapeutic failure(RRcb:2.53,95%CI:1.51-4.23) and relapse(RRcb:2.69,95%CI:1.46-4.98) of DS regimen was lower than those of DR regimen,while adverse reaction did not show any significant differences between them(RRcb:1.40,95%CI:0.97-2.01).No significant differences were seen in rate of relapse(RRcb:1.24,95%CI:0.67-2.30) and total therapeutic failure(RRcb:1.41,95%CI:0.86-2.32) between QR and DR regimen.QR regimen had lower rate of adverse reaction than DR regimen(RRcb:1.79,95%CI:1.17-2.74).Conclusion: DS regimen priors to DR regimen.QR equals DR in treatment outcome,has fewer adverse reactions meanwhile.Triple antimicrobial based on double regimens seemed to provide better outcomes without a significant increase in adverse reaction,but more clinical evidences are still needed.

Objective To investigate the efficiency of ring butterfly sewing in lower uterine segment aided with tourniquet in treating pernicious placenta previa combined with placenta percreta. Methods Twelve pregnant women diagnosed with pernicious placenta previa combined with placenta percreta by prenatal ultrasound in Peking University First Hospital from April 1, 2012 to November 30, 2014, were enrolled. All of them received elective cesarean delivery using ring butterfly sewing in lower uterine segment aided with tourniquet. The efficiency of this novel technique, in term of blood loss and vital signs during operation, blood transfusion, and postoperative recovery, was analyzed. Results Twelve cases were diagnosed with placenta percreta during operation, with placenta invading the perimetrium in seven cases and urinary bladder being involved in one case. Ring butterfly sewing in lower uterine segment aided with tourniquet during elective cesarean delivery was all successful in the 12 cases. The median amount of blood loss was 1 000(400-2 000) ml during operation and the amount of blood loss was lower than 1 000 ml in three cases. Two cases received no blood transfusion, and the median blood transfusion in the other 10 cases were 400(400-1 200) ml. The mean operation time was (75±22) min (43-131) min. Eleven cases had normal lochia and temperature after operation and the other one had placenta invading urinary bladder and partial placenta in situ, and developed fever at day 3 after operation, but recovered after antibiotic treatment, and no placenta tissue was seen by ultrasound at day 59 after operation. Conclusions The ring butterfly sewing in lower uterine segment aided with tourniquet is highly effective for the pernicious placenta previa combined with placenta percreta, and it is a simple, fast and fertility sparing technique with low blood loss and without usage of special equipment.
