Callus of Gentiana crassicaulis was initiated from hypocotyl and cotyledon on MS medium supplemented with 2mg/L 2.4-D and 0.5 mg/L BA.Induction frequencies of callus were 100%.Somatic embryos were formed on MS medium containing 2mg/L BA,3mg/L ZT, 1mg/L NAA,3mg/L GA,three time MS organics and vitamins,6% sucrose and 500 mg/L LH and three time FeSO4 (Na2EDTA) .40% Callus produced somatic embryos.It developed into complete plants on hormon-free MS medium.

Objective To observe the possible anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effects of iguratimodon human synovial fibroblast cell line MH7A derived from patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods MH7A cells were stimulated with interleukin (IL)-1β and treated simult aneously or sequenti-ally with different concentrations of iguratimod and methotrexate (MTX).Release of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), endostatin (ES) and tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) was quantified by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The statistics software SPSS 13.0 was used for statistical analyses.The experimental data were analyzed in terms of variance analysis and LSD test.In all cases, a P value lower than 0.05 was considered significant.Results The concentrations of VEGF, ES and TNF-α of the control group were (57±98) pg/ml, (924±39) pg/ml, (16.40±6.08) pg/ml respectively, while those of the experimental group were (1 155±177) pg/ml, (295±35) pg/ml and (36.90±3.54) pg/ml respectively.The differences of VEGF (t=9.092, P＜0.01) and ES (t=19.685, P＜0.01) between the control group and the experimental group was statistically significant.There was significant difference in the levels of TNF-α between the two groups (t=2.495, P＜0.05).VEGF of the iguratimod groups was (640±127) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (100 μmol/L), (787±172) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (25 μmol/L), and (776±99) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (6.25 μmol/L).VEGF of the MTX groups was (1 322±264) pg/ml in the MTX group (100 μmol/L), (1 071±63) pg/ml in the MTX group (25 μmol/L), and (863±70) pg/ml in the MTX group (6.25 μmol/L).All concentration of the iguratimod groups could effectively reduce the expression of VEGF in MH7A cells.Compared with the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant (100 μmol/L group: t=4.264, P＜0.01;25 μmol/L group: t=3.045, P＜0.01;6.25 μmol/L group: t =3.132, P ＜0.01).MTX (6.25 μ mol/L) could reduce the expression of VEGF in MH7A cells.Compared with the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant (t=2.415,P＜0.05).ES of the iguratimod groups was (979±30) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (100 μmol/L), (842±14)pg/ml in the iguratimod group (25 μmol/L), and (485 ±72) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (6.25 μmol/L).ES of the MTX group was (934±23) pg/ml in the MTX (100 μmol/L) group, (825±28) pg/ml in the MTX group (25 μmol/L), and (772 ±44) pg/ml in the MTX group (6.25 μmol/L).Both iguratimod and MTX groups effectively increased the expression of ES in MH7A cells.Compared with the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant (100 μmol/L group: t=21.387, P＜0.01;25 μmol/L group: t=17.122,P＜0.01;6.25 μmol/L group: t=5.929, P＜0.01).The expression of ES of the iguratimod group (100 μmol/L)and iguratimod group(25 μmol/L) was higher than that of the iguratimod group (6.25 μmol/L).The difference was statistical significant(100 μmol/L group: 6.25 μmol/L group was t=15.458,P＜0.01;100 μmol/L group: 6.25 μ mol/L group was t=11.193, P＜0.01).The expression of ES of the iguratimod group(6.25 μmol/L) was lower than that of the MTX group (6.25 μmol/L).The difference was statistically significant (t=9.001, P＜0.01).TNF-α was (4.73 ±1.15) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (100 μmol/L), (4.40±2.65) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (25 μmol/L), and (4.40±0.10) pg/ml in the iguratimod group (6.25 μmol/L).TNF-α of the MTX groups were (4.40±3.61) pg/ml in the MTX group (100 μ mol/L), (13.40±16.46) pg/ml in the MTX group (25 μmol/L),and (21.73±16.50) pg/ml of the MTX group (6.25 μmol/L).Both the iguratimod groups and the MTX group (100 μmol/L) effectively reduced the expression of TNF-α in MH7A cells.Compared with the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant(100 μmol/L group: t=3.914, P＜0.01;25 μ mol/Lgroup: t=3.955,P＜0.01;6.25 μ mol/L group: t=3.955, P＜0.01).Theexpression of TNF-α of the MTX groups (100 μ mol/L and 25 μmol/L) reduced significantly.Compared with the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant (100 μmol/L group: t=3.955, P＜0.01;25 μmol/L group: t=2.859, P＜0.05).The expression of TNF-αof the iguratimod group (6.25 μmol/L) was lower than that of the MTX group (6.25 μmol/L).The difference was statistical significant (t=2.359, P＜0.05).Conclusion Iguratimod presents strong anti-inflammatory and antiangiogenesis properties.This study provides insight into the possible molecular mechanisms of iguratimod and suggests that it can be a medication for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases like RA.

Objective To explore the effects of different processing parameters of mobile digital radiography (DR) on image quality of bedside chest radiography.Methods Post processing parameter on 150 cases bedside DR chest image like multi frequency laplasse transform (MLT),image processing (IP) were modified,and the optimization scheme of post-processing parameters were analyzed and summarized.The paired sample t test was used to compare the difference of the imaging quality score and optical density between the default parameter group and the post processing parameter optimization group through measure the optical density of lung related area.Results Brightness,contrast and the low density in dynamic range were the main factors affecting the quality of bedside chest radiography.After modifying and optimizing the post-processing parameters,the density value of the second intercostal area was 1.68±0.04,the density value of the hilum was 0.77±0.46,the density value of pulmonary peripheral (near chest wall 1 cm and overlap with a single rib) was 0.62± 0.06,the density value of cardiac shadow was 0.44 ± 0.04,the density value of subphrenic was 0.37 ± 0.04,the lung markings was clearly showed in the lateral field of lung and was visible in the spine and heart shadow area which meet the diagnostic requirement.The density value of those parts before modify were lower than the modify value which was more closer to the reference density value,and the difference had statistically significant.The image quality score of the postprocessing parameter optimization group was 3.53 ± 0.14,which was higher than 3.02 ± 0.23 of the default parameter group,and the difference had statistically significant.Conclusion The appropriate post-processing parameters is the key to guarantee the reasonable density of lung areas image quality and the optimization post-processing parameter can improve the image quality of bedside chest radiography by the mobile DR.

Objective:This study aims to explore recent developments in DEA-based hospital efficiency studies in China, so as to provide reference for further research in DEA-based hospital efficiency. Methods:In this study, a 30-year retrospective systematic review is conducted for the classification of 85 hospital efficiency studies that have been published in China with DEA. The characteristics are summarized and compared with those of international liter-ature according to the selection of input and output indicators to evaluate the normalization of studies in China. Re-sults:The classification reveals several problems existing in DEA-based hospital efficiency studies in China, such as too few studies on hospital allocation efficiency, the application of simple classical models, imprecise selection of in-put-output indicators, inappropriate application of monetary variables as output indicators, etc. Conclusions and sug-gestions:The normalization and rationality of DEA methods applied in China’s hospital efficiency research need to be improved, so as to shorten the gap between China and the international world. Chinese researchers should pay more attention to studying the latest international research findings, so as to scientifically select input and output indicators. In depth analysis of methods and application conditions should be conducted so as to improve the normalization and science of China’s hospital efficiency research.

Objective To observe the effects of iguratimod ( IT) combined with methotrexate ( MTX) in patients with refractory rheumatoid arthritis ( rRA) . Methods Sixty patients with rRA were randomly divided into 2 groups ( n=30 each group) . The cases in treatment group received 50 mg.d-1 of iguratimod and 10 mg of MTX for 16 weeks. The cases in control group were treated by 10-15 mg of MTX. DAS28 was analyzed. Levels of VEGF and endostatin ( ES) were quantified. Results In the treatment group,after 16-week treatment,DAS28,levels of VEGF and ES were (3.0±1.2),(818.9±178.8) pg.mL-1, (337.8±132.6) ng.mL-1,and those in the control group were (5.7±1.9),(1000.2±245.9) pg.mL-1,(253.8±77.8) ng.mL-1,respectively. In the treatment group,DAS28 and VEGF after the treatment were significantly decreased as compared with those before the treatment ( P<0.01) . The decrement was more significant in the treatment group than in the control group ( P<0.01) . At the 16th week of treatment,ES was significantly increased as compared with that before the treatment ( P<0.01) , and there was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Iguratimod combined with MTX have a prominent effect on rRA with high safety. The efficacy of IT on RA might be related with decreasing VEGF release,increasing ES production and alleviating synovium angiogenesis.

This study was aimed to reveal the species characteristics of Chinese patent medicines for antitussive ef-fect and provide references for developing new drugs. This research targeted Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect which were included in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China and the New National Chinese Patent Medicines as well as those characterized by keywords such as cough cure, cough alleviating, antitussive effect, cough, persistent cough. The analysis was made on the species characteristics, such as the number of Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect, license number, ethnomedicine patent medicines, drugs for children use, protection of varieties of traditional Chinese medicine, the number of drugs, the generic names of drug, and drug forms. The results showed that 684 Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect collected in this research had ac-counted for 8.60% of the total 7 260 of Chinese patent medicines. A total of 7 450 license numbers were approved, and 33% of the Chinese patent medicines shares one license number. One Chinese patent medicine owns 16.6 li-cense numbers on average. Ethnomedicine patent medicines had 3 Tibetan prescriptions such as the Shiwuwei Chenxiang pill and 4 Mongolian prescriptions, such as the Siwei Tumuxiang powder. Drugs for children accounted for 14%, including 9 forms. The type of the generic names of drug reached 16 and most of them originate from abbrevia-tions of the main drug in prescription. The number of drugs in prescription ranges from 8 to 16. Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect involved 16 forms, of which the proportion of the use of solid preparation was higher than the liquid preparation. It was concluded that Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect were characterized by such advantages such as a variety of species, various forms, the reasonable number of drugs, considerable medicine retail market share and drug for children use which can meet the clinical needs, and meanwhile some prob-lems, such as a lack of criteria for the generic names of drug, the homogenization of fierce competition, and inade-quacy of ethnomedicine patent medicines.

Objective To analyze CT imaging findings and pathological features of the thymic cyst.Methods The CT findings of 20 cases with thymic cyst confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.The analysis included the location,shape ,size ,density ,contour, unilocular or multilocular,with or without walls,enhancement and lesion periphery.The pathology results were compared to CT findings.Results All lesions were located in the anterior mediastinum,in which the location of left side in 12 cases,right side in 6 cases,median mediastinum in 2 cases.All lesions had clear border and unilocular,including round shape in 4 cases,oval shape in 8 cases,and irregular shape in 8 cases with triangular shape in 1 case,the size range was 2-6 cm.4 cases had obvious cyst wall.The CT value of the cyst had range of 4-53 HU,with 10 cases less than 10 HU and 10 cases greater than 10 HU.There was no enhancement within the cysts of 20 cases and the cyst wall had enhancement in 4 cases.All cases of pathological findings were confirmed as thymus cyst.Gross sample showed gray red or isabeling.The lesion was cystic in 18 cases,soft stereocyst in 2 cases,bright yellow liquid within the capsule in 10 cases,butter fat in 5 cases,chylomicrons in 3 cases,unilocular in 19 cases and multilocular in 1 case (butter fat).Microscope showed the fibrous capsule wall in all cases,lined with squamous epithelium,ciliated columnar epithelium,monolayer columnar epithelium,in which could be seen normal thymus tissue.The thickness of the wall was no more than 0.5 cm,and multilocular wall smooth,no obvious inflammatory response in the surrounding.Conclusion CT image findings can clearly show the thymic cyst site,shape,size,density and boundaries,unilocular or multilocular,with or without walls.The CT image can reflect pathological features of the thymic cyst,and can provide accurate and reliable information for the clinic.

Infective endocarditis (IE) is an infectious disease that affects the inner surface of the heart. Its first symptom often manifests as a localized neurological deficit, which can conceal the diagnosis of IE and delay the treatment. Here is a report of a severe case of IE with complicated central nervous system complications admitted to the First Hospital of Jilin University, so as to improve clinicians′ attention to the diagnosis and treatment of such conditions.

This study was aimed to reveal characteristics of functions, main indications and applications of Chinese patent medicines in order to provide references for development of new Chinese patent medicines for antitussive ef-fect. Chinese patent medicines recorded in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China and the New Na-tional Chinese Patent Medicines were taken as research subjects. Chinese patent medicines classified in the function and indication with key words of cough-relieving, cough-suppressing, cough and chronic cough were col-lected. Analysis was made on the prescription characteristics, such as functions, main indications and applications. The results showed that there were 684 Chinese patent medicines and 462 terms, which were used for a total of 1533 times. The frequently-used terms are antitussive effect with expectorant, antitussive effect, expectorant, heat-clearing and exterior-releasing, antiasthmatic, wind-expelling and antipyretic, antitussive effect with antiasthmatic, purging lung heat, relieving exterior syndrome and moistening the lungs. All 684 Chinese patent medicines were used 48 ma-jor treatments for a total of 1107 times. The main indications include acute and chronic trachitis / bronchitis, exoge-nous wind-heat type of common cold, exogenous wind-cold type of common cold, cough with abundance of phlegm due to phlegm-heat obstructing the lung, acute upper respiratory tract infection, asthma, acute and chronic pharyngi-tis, lung heat cough, and etc. All 684 Chinese patent medicines used a total of 537 kinds of herbs and chemical medicines, including 441 kinds of herbal medicine, 36 kinds of animal medicine, 25 kinds of mineral medicine and 35 kinds of chemical medicine. The top ten herbs in terms of using frequency are Glycyrrhizae radix et rhizoma, Platycodonis radix, Armeniacae semen amarum, Menthae haplocalycis herba, Citri reticulatae pericarpium, Ephedrae herba, Scutellariae radix, Perilla frutescens (L.) Britt, Pinelliae rhizoma, Fritillariae cirrhosae bulbus. Among them, 1/4 of Chinese patent medicines used extract. Five kinds of food or fruits were also used, which were orange, fresh gin-ger, pear, watermelon and dried mushroom. It was concluded that Chinese patent medicines for antitussive effect can be adopted in the treatment of various kinds of diseases, especially for the treatment of cough(heat cough in partic-ular), abundance of phlegm, asthma, pharyngitis, laryngitis, and etc. The treatment methods of clearing heat, dis-pelling wind and relieving exterior syndrome played an important role in the realization of antitussive effect. However, the expression of functions and main indications is far from standardized and clear. Drugs commonly used are herbal medicine plus animal medicine, mineral medicine and chemical medicine as well as food and fruit. The discovery of preparations with certain clinical curative effect from ethnomedicine and the using of their extracts as a major ingre-dient are one important way to develop new Chinese patent medicines with antitussive effect.

Objective To investigate the effect of capillary electrophoresis﹣based multiplex PCR ( CEMP) in detecting pathogens for children respiratory tract infection,and to provide scientific basis for clin﹣ical diagnosis and treatment rapidly and accurately. Methods The cases were defined according to the na﹣tional monitoring program of febrile respiratory syndrome during the 12th Five﹣Year Plan,and the samples were collected from nasopharyngeal swabs,bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and sputum of children with respira﹣tory tract infection hospitalized in Changchun Children′s Hospital from January 2017 to February 2018. Multi﹣plex PCR amplification was performed by one﹣step method, then PCR products were separated by DNA length size with capillary electrophoresis and pathogens were analyzed by"Genemapper software" software. Detecting pathogens included Influenza A virus (InfA),Human Adenovirus (HADV),Boca virus ( Boca), Human Rhinovirus ( HRV), Novel InfA﹣09H1 ( InfA﹣09H1 ) and Seasonal Influenza virus H3N2 ( InfA﹣H3N2),Parainfluenza virus ( HPIV),Human metapneumonia virus ( HMPV), Influenza B virus ( InfB), Mycoplasma pneumoniae (Mp),Chlamydia pneumoniae ( CP),Human Coronavirus ( HCOV),Human Re﹣spiratory Syncytial virus (HRSV). Results The effective detection rate of the CEMP assay was 95. 71%. The positive detection rate of respiratory tract pathogens was 62. 84% and the mixed infection rate was 9. 61%. The mixed infection was mainly InfA and HRSV. The highest three positive rates were named InfA, HRSV and Mp. The positive rate of HRSV was significantly higher in the 0﹣3 age group than that in older group. Different pathogens were detected in different age groups,and the high﹣occurrence season of respiratory tract infection with virus was from December to March of the next year. InfA﹣09H1 was the main prevalent influenza virus in January,February and March 2017,InfA﹣H3N2 was the main prevalent influenza virus in November and December 2017,and the outbreak of InfB was happened in Changchun in late 2017 and early 2018. HRSV was detected only in the coldest season in Changchun from November to March of the next year. Different pathogens were detected in different respiratory infection. HRSV was the main pathogen detec﹣ted in pneumonia; InfA﹣03H2 and HPIV were the main pathogens detected in acute bronchitis; HRV and InfA were the main pathogens detected in upper respiratory tract infection. Conclusion CEMP is an effi﹣cient,rapid and accurate method for the detection of pathogens in patients with respiratory tract infections,and it will have a broad application prospect to develop reagents suitable for clinical diagnosis.
