1.Effect of sodium-calcium exchanger and its inhibitors on arrhythmia
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(06):-
In cardiomyocytes,sodium-calcium exchanger(NCX) is regarded to play an important role in the regulation of intracellular Ca~(2+) concentration.During the cardiac ischemia/reperfusion or cardenolide intoxication, the inflow Ca~(2+) through NCX reverse mode induce calcium overload and arrhythmia.Recently, the benzyloxyphenyl derivatives have been developed as selective NCX inhibitors, which may have therapeutic potential as a new remedy for arrhythmias.

3.Research advances of osteopontin in pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(05):-
Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most critical diseases that impair the quality of patients' life, but its pathogenesis has not yet been fully understood. Osteopontin (OPN) is an extracellular matrix protein containing Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) sequence and has been recently recognized as a potential inflammatory cytokine. It is discovered that OPN plays an important role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis. It is a bridge between bone and the immune system. This paper reviewed the pivotal role that OPN plays in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis.
4.Proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells in cardiovascular diseases and drug research and development
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2004;0(08):-
The proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells plays an important role in the initiation and aggravation in cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, arteriosclerosis, restenosis. This article reviewed the progress in the studies on extracellular influencing factors, intracellular signal transduction, cell cycle of vascular smooth muscle cells and the relative drug research and development.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of lengthening the short-side albuginea of the bending penis by the allogeneic acellular dermal matrix ( Allo-ADM ) for the treatment of penile curvature.MethodsFrom Jun 2007 to Jun 2010,18 patients with penile curvature due to malformation of the albuginea cavernous body were treated. The age of the patients ranged from 15 to 26 years (mean,20 years).Twelve patients were married. The curvature degree ranged from 30° to 80° (mean,55°).There were 17cases of single curvature and 1 case of complex curvature. The grafts ( Allo-ADM ) of different sizes were sutured to the albuginea at the curvatus side of the penis according to the extent of penile curvature through a circumcision incision. The extent of penile curvature and complications were evaluated postoperatively.ResultsPenile curvature was corrected in all 18 patients after the operation. No infection, hematoma and abnormal erection occurred postoperatively. No erectile dysfunction and penile re-curvature was observed during the follow-up period of 3 to 24 months.ConclusionLengthening the short-side albuginea of the bending penis by Allo-ADM could be a safe and effective way to correct penile curvature.

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2011;17(2):84-87
Objective To discuss the surgical techniques and efficacy of a new method of breast treatment of hypermastia. Methods From January 2009 to February 2011, a series of 15 patients underwent a new technique for reduction mammaplasty. This technique involved a superomedial pedicle nipple-areolar complex (NAC). Results In our series, the resection weight per breast was (522. 9±218.3) g and the new nipple-to-sternal-notch distance was (21.7± 1.74) cm postoperatively. Mean nipple elevation was 8. 5cm (range, 4-16 cm). There were no hematoma and partial or complete NAC necroses occurred in our series. Minimal wound dehiscence occurred in one case ( 6.7 % ). Thirteen patients were followed up for 6 to 18 months. NAC sensibilities were comparable before and after operation, and good breast shapes were produced in all cases. Conclusion The superomedial pedicle technique provides good results with respect to NAC viability and sensibility, breast contour and last superomedial fullness.
7.Protective effects and the mechanisms of DEAAA on focal cerebral ischemia in rats
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(05):-
AIM:To study the protective effects of (E)-3-(4-(2-(dimethylamino) ethoxyl)-3-anisyl) acrylic acid(DEAAA) on focal cerebral ischemia of rats. METHODS:Middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) model was used to evaluate the drug's effects. With Ozagrel as a positive control drug, after cerebral ischemia, the effect of different doses of DEAAA on the neurological behaviors, the cerebral water volumes, the cerebral infarction areas, the cerebral biochemistry and the pathologic change of brains were evaluated. RESULTS:DEAAA (30,18 mg/kg) decreased the cerebral water volumes and the cerebral infarction areas(P

Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2000;0(11):-
Objective To assess the long term effects of combined oral contraceptive pills use on the mean of serum TG, TC, HDL C, LDL C, ApoA1, ApoB and Lp(a). Methods The study was carried out in 446 women grouped as combined norethisterone containing ethinylestradiol (EE) 35 ?g and norethisterone 625 ?g; combined 18 metayl norethisterone (norgestrel) containing EE 30 ?g and 18 metayl norethisterone 300 ?g for using 5~25 years, and control subjects wearing IUD for the corresponding period. The three groups were similar in age, body mass index (BMI), continued period of contraceptives use and income. Results The data showed that changes of varying degree of lipid and lipoprotein parameters were obvious in women of long term taking low dose combined norethisterone and norgestrel, compared with the control. The mean of TG, HDL C, ApoA1 were significantly increased simultaneously ( P

Objective To study the protective effects of total flavones of Herba Epimedii(TFE)on focal cerebral ischemia of rats. Methods Rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was established. With Jinnaduo as a positive control drug, the effect of TFE on the neurological behavior of cerebral ischemia rat,the cerebral water volume, the cerebral infarction area, the cerebral biochemistry and the pathologic change of brain were evaluated. Results TFE improved rats neurological behavior, decreased the cerebral water volume, reduced cerebral infarction area, increased ATPase and SOD activity, decreased MDA content, and also improved the pathological changes of ischemic brain. Conclusion TFE have the protective effect on cerebral ischemia in rats, its mechanism may be concerned about improving energy metabolism and anti-oxidation.

Aim To explore the effects of tetrameth-ylpyrazine-2′-O-sodium ferulate (TSF)on the swelling of
astrocytes and the expression of AQP4 after oxygen gl-ucose deprivatio /reoxygenation(OGD /Reox).Methods
Astrocytes were divided into 4 groups:control group, OGD /Reox group,Ozagrel group and TSF group. The effects of TSF on astrocytes were investigated 6,1 2,24 and 48 h after OGD /Reox.The cell injury was assessed by measuring LDH activity and MTT.The expression levels of AQP4 protein of astrocytes were detected u-sing Western blot. Results OGD /Reox induced obvi-ous cell swelling and significant reduction of LDH in astrocytes whereas TSF remarkably attenuated OGD-in-duced astrocyte swelling and LDH reduction (P <0.01 ).The expression levels of AQP4 protein in-creased gradually to the peak at 48 h in OGD /Reox
group(P <0.05 ).AQP4 protein levels in TSF group were much lower compared with OGD /Reox group at each time point (P <0.05).And there was no signifi-cant difference between TSF group and OGD /Reox group(P >0.05 ).Conclusion TSF can attenuate OGD-induced swelling of astrocytes through decreasing the AQP4 expression.
