1.Clinical Value of Detecting Serum GP7 3 and Related Indexes of Liver Fibrosis Levels in Patients with Hepatitis B Cirrhosis

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum Golgi protein-73 (GP73)level and related indexes of he-patic fibrosis in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis diseases and discuss the clinical value of GP73.Methods The level of GP73 was detected by ELISA;the levels of type Ⅳ precollagen (Ⅳ-C)and hyaluronic acid (HA)were measured by radio-immunity in serum from 11 patients with acute hepatitis B (AHB),31 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB),71 patients with Hepatitis B Cirrhosis (LC),23 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC)and 34 healthy people with check-up. The clinical changes and relationship between the GP-73 level and the parameter of fibrous degeneration were studied.Re-sults The GP73 level in CHB group was 118.0±82.2μg/L;the GP73 level in LC group was 154.4±87.7μg/L and the GP73 level in PHC group was 196.5±89.6μg/L.Compared with the normal control group,statistically significant differ-ence were found in GP73 level of CHB group,LC group and PHC group (t values were -7.284,-7.909 and -9.609,re-spectively;P<0.01).As the progress of liver cirrhosis,the levels of GP73,Ⅳ-C and HA all increased gradually and the level of GP73 was significantly positively correlated to Ⅳ-C and HA (r valves were -0.212 and 0.487,respectively;P<0.01). Conclusion The GP73 was high expressed in chronic liver disease,especially in liver cirrhosis.The GP73 was significantly associated with the occurrence of hepatitis b liver fibrosis.There fore,GP73 could be used as a better index to monitor the fi-brosis degree.
2.A comparison analysis of uterine artery embolism and total hysterectomy in intractable postpartum hemorrhage

Objective To compare the clinic value of uterine artery embolism (UAE) and total hysterectomy (TH) for intractable postpartum hemorrhage. Methods 15 cases of intractable postpartum hemorrhage were performed UAE and other 17 cases of intractable postpartum hemorrhage were performed HE in our hospital during 10 years. Two groups' preoperative preparation time, operation time and the hospitalization time were compared. Results The preoperative preparation time (26.2±1.6) min of UAE was significantly longer than TH group (13.5±1.4) min (P<0.01; the former group's average operation time was (47.8±16.2) min, and the latter group's was (100.6±18.7) min (P<0.01); the hospitalization time of UAE (6.1±0.1) days was significantly shorter than TH group (8.8±0.5) days)(P<0.01). Conclusion With short operation time, low morbidity rate and possibility of preserving reproductive function, UAE is proved to be very effective in the treatment of intractable postpartum hemorrhage, but in some cases, UAE can't replace TH yet.
3.Body composition and resting energy expenditure in perimenopausal women

BACKGROUND:Aging, lack of estrogen and few activities may lead to the decrease of resting energy expenditure in menopause women so as to induce the body composition changes, which can result in disease, such as obesity and fracture. OBJECTIVE:To explore the change of body composition and resting metabolic rate among premenopausal, perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. METHODS:2 312 women who came to outpatient clinic were recruited, including 1 310 premenopausal women, 790 perimenopausal women and 212 postmenopausal women. Body composition and resting energy expenditure were measured in each woman. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Body fat percentage of perimenopausal and postmenopausal women was significantly higher than that of pre-menopausal women. (2) There was no significant difference in resting metabolic rate among the three groups. When adjusted body weight, the resting energy expenditure per kilogram was significantly lower in perimenopausal women than in premenopausal women. (3) Bone mineral density, femoral neck strength, lower limb maximal strength, and leg muscle distribution coefficient were significantly lower in postmenopausal women than in perimenopausal and premenopausal women (P < 0.05). (4) Weight and leg muscle distribution coefficient were positively correlated with the resting energy expenditure per kilogram, and height, body mass index, body fat percentage were negatively correlated with the resting energy expenditure per kilogram. These findings indicate that the body composition can change in women after menopause, such as body fat increasing, muscle content decreasing, and bone mass loss. There is a certain relationship between the change in body composition and resting energy expenditure.
4.Investigation of the relationship between body mass index and chronic diseases in the elderly of Beijing community

Objective To investigate the incidence and distribution of over-weight and obesity and the relationship between the body mass index (BMI) and the chronic diseases in the elderly of community in Beijing. Methods The medical check-up data of 1513 elderly inhabitants randomly selected from the 134 communities in Beijing were analyzed. Results The proportions of old people with overweight and obesity were 48.9% and 12.8% respectively, and 36.5% of them were having normal body weight. The incidence of hypertension, coronary heart disease (CHD), diabetes mellitus (DM), hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia and fatty liver were significantly higher in the over-weight and obese people than that of people with normal BMI. 5.Investigation on influence factors of pathogenesis in 143 cases of dangerous placenta previa and analysis on perinatal period outcomes

Objective To explore the influential factors of dangerous placenta previa pathogenesis,and to analyze their peri natal period outcomes.Methods The clinical data in 143 pregnant women and parturients of dangerous placenta previa(research group) and 286 pregnant women and parturients of non-dangerous placenta previa(control group) in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The average age of the research group was higher than that of the control group (t =2.92,P =0.004);the previous pregnancy frequency,previous parity,previous abortion frequency,previous cesarean delivery frequency and incidence of placenta previa in the research group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01);the incidence of placenta previa in the research group was higher than that in the control group(x2 =7.60,P=0.006);the prenatal gestational weeks of the research group were lower than those of the control group(t=-12.33,P<0.01).The multi-factor analysis showed that the age,previous abortion frequency and previous cesarean delivery frequency were the influence factors of placenta previa occurrence.Among them,the previous cesarean delivery frequency was the main risk factor.The occurrence rates of antepartum hemorrhage,postpartum hemorrhage,uterine removal and premature infants in the research group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01);The intraoperative blood loss of the research group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the neonatal birth weight and the 1 min Apgar score of the research group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The age,previous abortion frequency and previous cesarean section frequency are related to the occurrence of dangerous placenta previa.
6.Analysis on 2175 Admitted Cases of Clonorchiasis Sinensis in Guigang City

5 000 respectively. Results Among 2 175 cases with clonorchis eggs, 1 244 cases showed clinical complications (57.2%). The average EPG in 61 cases counted was 3 055, 34 (55.7%) showed medium or heavy intensity of infection. The cases distributed in 80% of the townships, more concentrated in 2 towns and 1 farm. The patients aged between 3 to 76 years old with a ratio of male to female 3.6 ∶ 1. 45.5% of the cases were farmers. 1 308 cases (60.1%) were Zhuang Minority. The number of cases seeking medical treatment increases year by year since mid-1980s. 66.0% of the cases had a habit of raw fish-eating. Conclusion Clonorchiasis sinensis widely distributes in Guigang City, number of cases admitted in hospitals increases yearly.
7.Study on the normal value of motor conduction velocity and F-wave parameters in median and ulnar nerves in normal adults

Objective To study the normal value on the motor conduction velocity(MCV) and F wave parameters in normal adults at different age,sex,and provide reasonable datum for clinic.Methods 155 healthy volunteers (male for 76 cases, female for 79 cases,age from 18 to 82 years old) were used as subjects.Distal latency,proximal latency, MCV,F wave latency,the duration between F and M waves (F MIPL),F wave conduction velocity (FCV) as well as the F wave ratio were recorded in bilateral median and ulnar nerves, F wave were elicited with stimulation at wrist.Results There were significant differences in M wave latency, MCV, FwPL, F MIPL and FCV between the different groups of age and sex, the latency of each individual wave was shorter in the female than in the male.the conduction velocity(CV) of the female was faster than the male. No significant differences in the F wave ratio were found between male and female, left and right limbs for the same nerve,median and ulnar nerves in the same Limb and in individuals at different age.MCV was usually faster in the proximal than in the distal.Conclusion MCV and F wave parameters changed progressively with increasing age. There were respective normal values in different age group and sex,F wave ratio might provide information in evaluating nerve conduction function in both of the proximal and distal end.
8.Effect of Facilitation Techniques of Breathing Combined with Acupuncture on Intractable Hiccups after Stroke

Objective To observe the effect of facilitation techniques of breathing combined with acupuncture on post-stroke hiccup.Methods 68 post-stroke hiccup patients were divided into 2 groups, 34 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with the facilitation techniques of breathing combined with acupuncture, while the control group was treated with acupuncture only. The two groups were evaluated on the 3rd and 7th day after treatment. Results The total efficacy was higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Facilitation techniques of breathing may release the post-stroke hiccup.
9.Gene cloning,prokaryotic vector constructing for the major allergen ovomucoid in Hen's egg white and its recombinant expression

Objective:To clone and express the gene of ovomucoid,which is the main allevgen in egg white.Methods:Using total RNA of chicken oviduct as template,the gene of ovomucoid was amplified by RT-PCR.The homology was analyzed by comparision with the sequence in GeneBank.Subsequently,the PCR product of the ovomucoid gene was cloned into prokaryotic expressing vector pET-28a and was expressed by the challenge of IPTG.Results:The whole gene of ovomucoid,one of the main allergens in egg white,was successfully cloned.The cloned ORF sequence contains 633 bp,including stop codon,encods for 210 amino acids.Sequence analysis shows that the ovomucoid gene displays 99% nucleotide identities with the published sequences.The molecule weight of ovomucoid protein obtained was 21 kD.By the challenge of IPTG,SDS-PAGE analysis showed that the ovomucoid gene was overexpressed in E.coli BL21(DE3).Conclusion:The gene of ovomucoid is cloned and overexpressed in E.coli BL21(DE3).This study will be the basis for the further research.
10.A novel scaffold for endothelial progenitor cells in tissue engineered vascular grafts

Objective To explore the characteristics of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) on different scaffolds and to find a new bio-engineered synthetic hybrid scaffold for artificial bio-engineered blood vessels. Methods EPCs were induced from mesenchymal stem cells isolated from rat bone marrow and seeded on ECM scaffold. The surface structure of the scaffold and growth status of EPCs on the scaffold were observed and analysed by electron microscopy. The characteristics and number of those EPCs on different kinds of scaffolds were studied with EPC-specific VWF by immunofluorescence, Western blotting and real-time PCR technique at different time points. Results The cell adhesion rate at 1,3,5 h after seeded on pressed scaffold were higher than that on unpressed scaffolds( P < 0. 01 ). Pressed scaffolds has got a larger cell number( P < 0. 05 )at DIV1, DIV3, DIV7, but there was no significant difference after DIV10. Furthermore, cell shapes of EPCs on pressed scaffolds were more mature and more similar to endothelial cells. A level cell surface on pressed scaffolds was achieved. Western blotting assays revealed EPCs on pressed scaffolds expressed more protein VWF at DIV3, DIV7, DIV10. Real-time PCR results showed EPCs on the two different groups of scaffolds all expressed VWF gene, The quantity of their expression in the two groups were all enhanced after DIV7 (P < 0. 05 ). The quantity of VWF gene expression in the pressed group was much higher than that in the unpressed group at DIV3 ,DIV7,DIV10 (P <0, 01), but there was no significant difference after DIV14. Conclusions Pressed ECM scaffolds can promote adhesion, proliferation and differentiation on EPCs. Pressed scaffolds can be used as the matrix for EPC and fabricated into a novel synthetic tissue bio-engineered vascular scaffold.
