1) Obstetrics medical education in Japan, Vietnam, Thailand was compared.The education differed according to the levels of knowledge and the techniques required for first-year doctors.In Japan and Vietnam, the importance of selfdirected learning was stressed in doctors' interviews.
2) The number of deliveries students attended was much higher among Vietnamese students than among Japanese students. Accordingly, Vietnamese students rated their obstetric knowledge and clinical skills more highly than did Japanese students.
3) The major challenges in Japanese medical education are to provide medical students with opportunities to participate in medical care as a member of a treatment team by introducing clinical clerkship training and to enable students to learn in a more self-directed manner.

The injury of intestinal mucosa of mice with zinc-deficiency was inhibited by the Chinese herbal medicine (_??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??__??_), while the concentration of serum zinc in zinc deficient mice was not increased after administrations of the Chinese herbal medicine.

The Chinese herbal medicine (_??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??_, _??__??__??_) suppressed the injury of intestinal mucosa in mice with excess zinc administrations. The increase of serum zinc concentration with excess zinc administrations was also inhibited by administrations of the Chinese herbal medicine.

The University of Tokyo Disability Services Office and the University of Tokyo Hospital have striven to advance the inclusion of individuals with disabilities and to encourage the co-production of research as well as mental health services with peer support workers. In convergence with these endeavors, the Center for Diversity in Medical Education and Research (CDMER) was founded in 2021. The Center aims to establish an environment and culture that facilitates the participation and success of medical professionals with disabilities. For this purpose, it is essential to integrate the perspective of the social model of disability into medical education and promote co-production in the medical field, which is among the most challenging areas that can realize co-production. The Center is involved in various educational and research activities, including managing educational programs for medical students and supporting student-led research.
