Objective To compare the clinical value of XELOX and FOLFOX6 in the treatment of elderly patients with colorectal cancer. Methods Clinical data of 68 elderly patients(aged>60 years)with colorectal cancer were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into XELOX group(n =32)and FOLFOX6 group(n =36) according to the chemotherapy regimen.The response evaluation criteria in solid tumors,progression free survival, 2 -year mortality,chemotherapy related adverse reactions and health related quality of life in the two groups were compared.Results Compared with the FOLFOX6 group,the neurotoxicity incidence in the XELOX group was signifi-cantly lower (3.13% vs.22.22%,χ2 =5.380,P =0.020).The neutrophils reduced incidence was significantly lower(9.38% vs.30.56%,χ2 =4.649,P =0.039).The hand foot syndrome complications significantly increased (34.38% vs.8.33%,χ2 =7.027,P =0.008).There was no significant difference in the incidence of nausea,vomi-ting,diarrhea,oral mucosal ulcer,thrombocytopenia and elevation of transaminase in the two groups(χ2 =0.001, 0.000,0.008,2.102,1.071,1.851,all P >0.05).The quality of health related quality of life was significantly higher in the XELOX group than in the FOLFOX6 group at 6 months after the operation[(67.94 ±12.49)points vs. (57.39 ±13.59)points,t =3.198,P =0.015].There were no significant differences in the curative effect grade at 6 months after the operation,2 -year mortality rate and progression free survival time between the two groups(χ2 =0.949,0.008,t =0.573,all P >0.05).Conclusion Although XELOX increases the incidence of hand foot syn-drome in elderly patients with colorectal cancer,but it significantly reduces the incidence of neurotoxicity and neutro-phil,and improves the quality of life of patients after surgery.

Objective To observe the effect of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) on proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis of human colorectal cancer cell line SW480.MethodsSW480 cells were treated with CAPE .The proliferative status of cells was measured by methabenzthiazuron (MTT) assay. Cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM) . Apoptosis was detected by FCM. The apoptosis cells were detected by TUNEL staining.ResultsCAPE inhibited growth of SW480 cells in a dose-dependent and time-dependent manner. Cell G_0/G_1 phase rate increased, S phase rate decreased and cell apoptosis rate increased after exposed to CAPE in a dose dependent manner (2.5, 5.0 and 10mg/L). Apoptosis cells increased after the treatment of CAPE.ConclusionsCAPE inhibits the proliferation and induces apoptosis in human colon cancer cell line SW480.The effect mechanism is related to arrest the cell cycle G_1 and induce cell apoptosis.

Objective To investigate the relationship between ? catenin expression and colorectal adenoma with canceration. Methods The expression levels of ? catenin in 25 cases of normal colorectal mucosa (NCM), 42 cases of colorectal adenoma (CA), and 19 cases of colorectal adenoma with canceration (CAC) were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results ? catenin expression was detected on the cell membrane in normal colorectal mucosa. Reduced membrane expression, cytoplasmic and nuclear expression were detected in the colorectal adenoma and adenoma with canceration. The cytoplasmic and nuclear expression rate of ? catenin was 89.5% in colorectal adenoma with canceration, significantly higher than that in colorectal adenoma(42 9%, P

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of preserving the intercostobrachial nerve after radical operation for breast carcinoma.Methods The clinical data of patients with breast cancer were analyzed retrospectively,all cases were divided into the observation group and the control group.all cases were followed up after operation from six months to six years in order to observe the abnormal sensation of the skin and the recurrence rate.Results The abnormal sensation of the skin:1 case in the observation group(4.5%),17cases in the control group(73.9%),Two groups have significant difference(x2=20.79 P＜0.01),both groups had not found partial recurrence.Conclusion Preseving the intereostobmchial nerve in modified radical mastectomy for patients with breast cancer,dichat increase the partial recurrence,can increase the life quality of patients after operation,decrease the abnormal sensation of the skin.promote the health both body and mind.

Objective To summarize the experience of humane care on our voluntary blood donors.Methods From March 1,2017 to March 31,2017,281 blood donors were enrolled,called the intervened group,from the fixed blood donation street-spot to investigate their satisfaction and their willingness to donate blood again or not.Meanwhile,168 donors who were not intervened were also observed,called the control group.Results In the intervention group,182 were former blood donors,and 64.5％ of the respondents believed that the staff was more trustworthy than before.And 78.2％ of the respondents expressed that the communication ability with blood donors was better than before.The incidence of adverse effect of blood donation in the 281 donors was only 0.71％,and all of them were willing to donate again,which was better than the control group.Conclusion Humanistic care during voluntary blood donation is beneficial to improve the quality of service,the satisfaction of blood donation,and help retaining the blood donors.

Objective To investigate the clinical pathological factors related to recurrence and metastasis of colorectal cancer patients treated with resection ,expect to improve the treatment effects .Methods The clinicopathologic and follow-up data of 212 patients with stage Ⅰ - Ⅲ colorectal cancer patients treated with resection from January 2009 to December 2013 were retrospec-tively analyzed by univariate and multivariate Logistic regression methods .Results Univariate analysis showed that T staging sys-tems ,gross type ,intestinal obstruction or perforation ,lymphatic and vascular invasion were correlated to recurrence of colorectal cancer after operation(P< 0 .05) ;age ,tumor size ,lymph node involvement ,T staging systems ,histological differentiation ,intestinal obstruction or perforation ,lymphatic and vascular invasion were correlated to metastasis of colorectal cancer after operation(P <0 .05) .Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age ,tumor size and histological differentiation were independent factors for metastasis rate of colorectal cancer after operation(P< 0 .05) .There were no significant differences in Logistic regression analy-sis for recurrence(P> 0 .05) .Conclusion Age ,tumor size and histological differentiation are independent factors for metastasis rate of colorectal cancer after operation .

Objective To evaluate the outcome of a new modality of operation—tensionfree vaginal tape (TVT) in treatment of female stress urinary incontinence. Methods Thirteen female patients suffering from stress urinary incontinence were treating with TVT operation.All the patients were confirmed to have stable bladder without outlet obstruction via clinical routine and urodynamic examination before operation.TVT tape of Prolene was implanted around mid-urethra via a minimal vaginal incision. Results The mean operation time was (38?7)min and the mean intraoperative bleeding was (45?10)ml.The mean catheterization time was 2 days and mean hospital stay was 4 days.No major bleeding was observed in operation.All patients were cured and the clinical symptoms disappeared after operation except for one patient with post-operative urine retention.This patient was catheterized for 2 weeks and the tape was cut under local anesthesia;then the urine retention disappeared and no incontinence relapsed. Conclusions TVT is a simple,reliable mini-invasive procedure with low incidence of complications.It can be used routinely for treating female stress urinary incontinence.

Objective To provide a reliable model of orthotopic liver transplantation in rats and study surgical techniques for improving the quality of the operation. Methods The model was established by modified Kamada’s cuff technique. The time of cold preservation was 60 min. The successful rate of the method and one-week survival rate were observed. Results In 135 cases undergoing orthotopic liver transplantation, one-week survival rate was 89.2% . The successful rate of the model was 95.6% . Conclusions The key for success in rat liver transplantation is the shortened anhepatic period and delicate and skillful surgical manipulation. Also some detailed modified techniques should be used.

The finite element method(FEM)is a numerical computation method based on computer tech-nology, and has been gradually applied in the fields of medicine and biomechanics. The finite element analysis can be used to explore the loading process and injury mechanism of human body in traffic in-jury. FEM is also helpful for the forensic investigation in traffic injury. This paper reviews the develop-ment of the finite element models and analysis of brain, cervical spine, chest and abdomen, pelvis, limbs at home and aboard in traffic injury in recent years.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the bioavailability of domestic propylthiouracil enteric coated capsule.METHODS:A modified RP-HPLC assay was used for determination of the plasma drug concentrations.In a randomized two-way crossover design,a single oral dose of100mg domestic propylthiouracil capsule(trial agent,A)and imported propyithiouracil tablet(reference agent,B)were given to20male healthy volunteers.The parameters were fitted by CRFB bioavailaility soft?ware.RESULTS:The AUC 0～t ,C max and t max of A and B were(9.13?1.53)and(8.80?1.37)(?g?h)/ml,(3.02?0.71)and(3.03?0.66)?g/ml,(4.51?0.24)and(1.13?0.44)h respectively.There were no significant differences in parameters between2groups.The relative bioavailability of product A was(104.37?12.16)%.CONCLUSION:The results suggest that these two products were bioequivalent.
