The corneal epithelial cells are at the surface of the cornea.Human corneal epithelial cells cultured in vitro contribute to fully understand the biological properties of corneal cells,construct disease models in vitro,and play its clinical significance better.This article reviews the recent advances in human corneal epithelial cells cultured in vitro about extractive fraction,extraction methods,factors of progress,impact identification methods.

OBJECTIVE: Simulateous determination of ten psychosedatives in serum was made to help doctors make effective rescue. METHOD: The qualitative separation was done by TLC. The quantitative determination was made by TLC scanning. RESULTS: Ten psychosedatives were separated very well by one mobile phase. The recovery, accuracy and stability of TLC scanning on varied wave-lengths were satisfatory. CONCLUSION: This method is simple, rapid, and accurate. It can be used in poison analysis and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Objective To study the impact of viral infection on stress protein gene expression and investigate the possibility that heat shock proteins interact with viral components during viral assembly in the brain of suckling mice experimentally infected with Hantaan virus (HV). Methods New born mice less than 72 h of age were inoculated into brain with the 100 LD50 of Hantaan virus (strain 76 118). At the 8th day mice died from brain disease. Brains were prepared for tissue sections and extracts for the experiments. The Hantaan virus infection, HSP70 induction and their co localization in brain of infected suckling mice were demonstrated by immunohistochemical staining and laser scan co focal microscopic double labling. The possible intereaction between HV structural proteins and HSP70 was further analyzed by immunoprecipitation of infected tissue extracts with antibodies to either HSP70 or to viral nuclear capsule proteins HV NP by using SDS PAGE and Western blotting. Results HV infection induced an increased levels of HSP70 expression at the cytoplasma of neurons in the brain of suckling mice HV NP protein proved to be co localized with HSP70. Monoclonal antibody (mAb) to HSP70 could co immunoprecipitate the HV NP, and similarly mAb to HV NP could co immunoprecipitate HSP70 from virus infected tissue extracts, but not from mock infected tissue extracts. Antibody, which recognized one of these two proteins, did not cross react with the other. Thus, the association between HSP70 and HV NP appeared to be specific.Conclusions Hantavirus infection can directly induce HSP70 expression, leading to the formation of HV HSP 70 viral antigen peptide complex which plays some roles in the course of viral infection and replication.

OBJECTIVE:To provide suggestions for China in dealing with the drug shortage problem by drawing experiences from USA.METHODS:The study was done by reiviewing literature and cases study.RESULTS:The FDA in USA has established procedures for the Center of Drug Evaluation and Organization of Regulation Affairs to resolve all kinds of drug shortage problems.CONCLUSIONS:A specific department should be set up to be responsible for resolving drug shortage problems in China with an emphasis on the shortage of medical necessary drugs,and it is urgent to get the information of drug shortage.

Objective In view of the schizophrenia risk factors during the recovery,to explore a supportive intervention program suitable for the rehabilitative schizophrenic patients.Methods Totally 64 rehabilitative schizophrenic patients were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 32 cases in each group.All the patients received the same treatment with antipsychotic drugs.The patients in the control group received the routine health education.In addition,the patients in the experimental group received supportive intervention for 4 months.The patients were assessed by IBS,APGAR,GSES and SDSS before and after intervention.Results Main effect of group factor and time factor of GSES,SDSS,APGAR and IBS had statistical significances.There were significant interaction in the scores of SDSS,APGAR and IBS.Simple effect analysis demonstrated the scores of GSES,SDSS,APGAR and IBS in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group after the intervention.Except the score of GSES,there was no differences in other scales before and after the intervention of the control group.Conclusions Supportive intervention program for the rehabilitative schizophrenic patients have good practice guidance.It can improve the patients' self-efficacy,family function and social function,also can correct irrational beliefs and to help patients better adapt to society.

Objective To systematically evaluate the effects of psychiatric nurse-led adherence therapy on clinical outcomes and medication adherence in schizophrenia patients.Methods Searched databases to collect randomized controlled trials about psychiatric nurse-led adherence therapy for patients with schizophrenia.Two reviewers independently screened literature,extracted data,and assessed the risk of bias of included studies.Then,meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.2 software.Results Fifteen studies were recruited,including 683 cases of AT and 681 cases of TAU.The results showed that adherence therapy could improve attitude towards adherence,adherence behaviors,psychotic symptoms,function,insight and reduce hospital stay.But regarding stigma,quality of life and side effects,adherence therapy did not show benefits (P＞0.05).Conclusion Psychiatric nurse-led adherence therapy is effective to improve schizophrenia patients' adherence,psychotic symptoms,function,insight and reduce hospital stay.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of the treatment of Xuezhikang and fluvastatin in elderly angina patients with mildly abnormal liver function .Methods 84 cases of ALT in 40-80u/L very elderly patients with coronary heart disease were randomly selected and divided into the two groups , the Xuezhikang group received Xuezhikang (0.6g,bid,orally),the fluvastatin group received fluvastatin (40mg,1time/night,oral),the total course was 12weeks,the TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL -C were measured before and after treatment ,liver function was measured once 2 -4times.If ALT was 3 times higher than before , Xuezhikang was instead of statins , if ALT was 5 times higher than before ,both of the two drags were withdrawaled .Results The TC,LDL,TG,HDL-C and ALT of the two groups were no significant difference before treatment (P >0.05),the TC,LDL,TG were decreased after treatment in the both group .There was no case of increased of ALT to three times in Xuezhikang group ,however ,ALT of 6 patients were increased more than three times in fluvastatin group ,four weeks after exchange of Xuezhikang ,the ALT were not continued to rise .Conclusion Both the two medicine can significantly lowered the cholesterol in very elderly patients with angina ,but the Xuezhikang were more safety in the patient with mild increased of liver function .

Objective To explore the expression of Survivin and MHC in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and their interaction.Methods A total of 40 patients with histologically diagnosed NSCLC were enrolled in this study.Control samples were consisted of normal lung tissues from 15 patients.Expression of Survivin and MHC were detected by flow cytometry in 40 non-small cell lung cancer tissues and 15 normal lung tissues.Results The positive rates of Survivin protein expression in NSCLC tissues classified stages Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ were 28.57% ,30.77% and 80.00% respectively.There was a correlation between Survivin protein expres-sion and stages of NSCLC.Survivin protein expression was detected in 19 of 29 patients with lymph node metas-tasis, and 3 of 11 patients with no metastasis.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.030).The loss expression rates of MHC-Ⅰ in NSCLC tissues of low grade,intermediate grade and high grade were 84.62% ,42.10% and 37.50% respectively.There was a correlation in expression be-tween MHC-Ⅰ and tumor grade.The positive rates of MHC-Ⅱ expression in NSCLC tissues was related to pa-thology type (P=0.005).The expression in squamous cancer and non-squamous non-adno cancer was lower than that of adenocarcinoma (P=0.002, P=0.04).There was no obvious correlation between the expression of Survivin and MHC-Ⅰ,MHC-Ⅱ in NSCLC.Conclution The expression of Survivin and MHC could be in-volved in the pathogenesis and development of NSCLC, and the combined detection will predict the prognosis of the patients with NSCLC.

Objective:To explore the relationship between development of social skills and executive function and theory of mind in children and adolescents with autism.Methods:Forty-six children and adolescents with autism aged 6 to 17 years were recruited.The diagnosis was made according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder,Fourth Edition(DSM-Ⅳ),and severe mental disorders were excluded by the screening of the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age children (K-SADS).The Rey Complex Figure Test (RCFT),Trail-Making Test,Verbal Fluency Test,Stroop Color-word Task,the First-Order Belief Test and the Second-Order Belief Test were used to assess executive function and theory of mind,and Social Response Scale (SRS) was used to assess social skills.The correlation between results of Executive Function and SRS was analyzed.The SRS scores between groups passing and without passing of First-Order Belief Test and Second-Order Belief were compared.Results:In the aspect of Executive Function,RCFT scores were positively correlated with autistic behavior factor score of SRS (r =0.31-0.41,Ps ＜ 0.05),meanwhile,immediate recall structure scores of RCFT were positively correlated with social motivation factor scores of SRS (r =0.30,P ＜ 0.05),delayed recall structure scores of RCFT were positively correlated with SRS total scores(r =0.34,P ＜ 0.05).In Stroop Colorword Task,errors of the first task were positively correlated with social cognitive factor scores of SRS (r =0.32,P ＜ 0.05).There were no correlation between other Executive Function results and SRS scores (r =-0.21-0.24,Ps ≥0.05).In the aspect of Theory of Mind,there was no significant difference in SRS scores between groups passing or without passing (t =-0.68-1.73,Ps ≥ 0.05).Conclusion:The development of social skill in children and adolescents with autism may have relationship withexecutive function,but have no relationship with the theory of mind.
