Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
The embryo development technique in Zebrafish, Brachydanio rerio, is a toxicity testing method making use of the high sensitivity of fish embryo development in early stage to study and evaluate the specific effecting mechanism, the most sensitive effecting time, embryo toxicity and teratogenicity of chemicals through observing the development process of zebrafish embryo after chemical exposure to fertilized ova. This technique has been widely used to test toxicity of chemicals with the advantages of low cost, high sensitivity, simple to operate and simultaneous to detect multi-endpoints. The main methodology, technical characteristics and the status of world-wide application of this technique are reviewed in this paper. Based on the urgent environmental problems in China, the prospects to use this method for monitoring toxicity of mixed pollutants in wastewater are put forward.

Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine 2012;51(10):759-762
Objective To study the clinical features of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD),so as to provide evidence for early diagnosis and treatment. Methods A retrospective analysis was made upon clinical data, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of 53 patients with IPA and COPD admitted between January 2005 and February 2011 collected in a respiratory unit of the Second Xiangya Hospital Affiliated Central South University. Results There were 53 cases of diagnosed as IPA with COPD,with history of using broad-spectrum antibiotics. And there were 43 cases using steroids more than 2 weeks,51 with obvious breathlessness, and 20 with fever.Early stage didn't present characteristical changes on CT scan. However, after disease progression,32 cases had maculas shadows and nonspecific consolidations in bilateral lung,14 with solitary or multiple nodules,4 with solitary or multiple air crescent sign, and 2 with halo sign.Four patients of COPD with IPA underwent bronchoscopy examination. In fungi pathogeny, sputum positive rate and galactomannan positive rate were 56.6% and 52.8%,respectively.A total of 53 cases received antifungal treatment.Among 37 cases which underwent mechanical ventilation,24 received noninvasive ventilation and 13 received invasive ventilation. There were 33 cases which were improved and cured, and 20 cases which had no relief after half-a-month treatment or withdrew treatment.Among them,13 cases died because of multiple-organ failure (5/15) or acute renal failure (8/15).Conclusions Early suspected diagnosis, timely examination in allusion to IPA,actively searching for etiological and imaging evidences, early established diagnosis and antifungal treatment would improve prognosis of patients with COPD combined IPA who have history of high doses of cortieosteroids, obvious breathlessness and non-response to antibiotics.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
Atherosclerosis(AS),the major cause of ischemic cerebrovascular disorder(CVD)destroying human health, the damage-reaction theory and inflammation theory proposed by professor Ross were popular because those theories were explainning the beginning and developing of AS well. The key point is anti-inflammatory.Through the intervention of some key factors in inflammatory response network, the theory provide a great significance and value on the treatment of AS.We considered that AS pathogenesis of "Endogenous Heat Toxin,Phlegm and Blood Stasis" in Chinese medicine has substantial relationship with current mainstream theory of AS-"injury-response theory, inflammatory reaction theory",which is a good integrating point for AS pathogenesis in both theoretical systems of Chinese and Western Medicine. With the entry point of intervention of "Endogenous Heat Toxin" or "inflammatory response",on the basis of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and heat-clearing and detoxicating,it is a beneficial attempt with theoretical and practical significance to discuss the role of Chinese medicine on prevention and treatment of AS.With the mainline of AS anti-inflammatory theory, this article analyzed and discussed the research ideas of Chinese Herbs intervene AS inflammatory reaction combined with our work of the research group.

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effects of histidine grafted poly (β-amino es-ter) ( HGPAEs) vector-based RNA interference ( RNAi) on the expression of gene encoding myeloid differ-entiation factor 88 (MyD88) in rat liver tissues. Methods The sequence of small hairpin RNA (shRNA) was designed based on the genetic information of MyD 88.HGPAEs vector was constructed and coupled with shRNA plasmid targeting MyD88 to construct pMyD88-HGPAEs vector.Rats were divided into five groups including control group , HGPAEs treatment group , pHK-HGPAEs treatment group , shRNA treatment group and pMyD88-HGPAEs treatment group .The rats in each group were transfected with the corresponding inter-ventions through portal vein injection .Real-time PCR and Western blot assay were performed to detect the expression of MyD88 in liver tissues 3 days after transfection .Results The pMyD88-HGPAEs vector was successfully constructed .The expression of gene encoding MyD 88 was inhibited in rats from shRNA treat-ment group and pMyD88-HGPAEs treatment group (P<0.05).Significantly decreased expression of gene encoding MyD88 at mRNA and protein levels were observed in rats from pMyD 88-HGPAEs treatment group as compared with those from other groups (P<0.01).Conclusion HGPAEs vector might be used as a po-tential gene carrier .The expression of gene encoding MyD 88 in rat liver tissues could be significantly inhibi-ted through portal vein injection of pMyD 88-HGPAEs vector .This study provided evidences for further re-search on pMyD88-HGPAEs vector in a high responder model of rat orthotopic liver transplantation .

OBJECTIVE To study the feasibility of no-hair-shaving before knee arthroscopy surgery.METHODS Totally 160 patients preparing for knee arthroscopy surgery were divided into both test and control groups randomly. The test group was no-hair-shaving before operation, and the control group was hair-shaving the day before their operation.Patients of the test group washed their skin with soap water or bathed at the operation day and patients in control group did this the day before operation.Bacterial culture was done in the operative site both before and after sterilization, and observed whether infection occurred in the incision after operation.RESULTS Bacterial culture in skin before sterilization was statistical significance between the two groups and no statistical significance after sterilization. All the incision healed well and no infection was found.CONCLUSIONS No-hair-shaving preoperatively can decrease patients′ discomfort and reduce colonies on skin surface effectively. The method is easy and safety manipulated.

Objective To explore safety of severe preeclampsia by amniotic infusion therapy. Methods 58 cases with severe preeclampsia during 28 to 34 weeks pregnancy had been practised intravenous infusion as controls(37 cases). Results Ultrasound guided amnioinfusion were all succesful in therapy group, there was no maternal complication.Statistical difference was found in premature infant apgar score between therapy group and control group. The incidence of respiratory distress syndrome was 3.4%,whereas that of the control group was 35.1%(P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Inflammation is one of the key pathological process of atherosclerosis (AS),and multiple risk factors of AS have consanguineous relationships with the regulation of inflammatory signal pathway. So it could be effective approach to control inflammation, even the pathological process of AS if we do the deep research on AS inflammatory signal pathway and make out the potential medicine.
