The paper establishes the newborn safety management system through combining of the Internet of Things and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN),and introduces the design of system architecture and the functions.This system is able to achieve full-digital management of newborns,reduce the risk of medical accidents,and improve the work efficiency of medical staffs.

Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effects of Ganciclovir on the children with virus encephalitis.Method 98 patients with virus encephalitis were randomly divided into the virazole treatment group(52 cases) and the Ganciclovir treatment group(46 cases),clinical performance and therapeutic effects were compared.Results The mean time of headache, vomiting, tetany and the recovering of mind was shorter than that of virazole treatment group.The time of fever was shorter,but has no difference in statistics. Conclusion Ganciclovir is obvious effect to treat the child virus encephalitis.

BACKGROUND: Perinatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) is the primary cause of neonatal brain injury, which retards the mental development in affected infants.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influence of early intervention on mental and psychological development in infants with HIE, study the time-effect relation of the early intervention, and to find an optimal time for intervention.DESIGN: A time series of following-up and a non-randomized concurrent controlled investigation.SETTING: Xiangya Hospital and Xiangya School of Medicine Affiliated to Central South University.PARTICIPANTS: From February 1999 to May 2001, in the Pediatric Department of Xiangya Hospital Affiliated to the Central South University, the inpatient and outpatient infants with HIE were selected. There were 32 inpatients in the intervention group, 10 with moderate HIE and 22 with severe HIE. There were 36 outpatients in the control group, 10 with moderate HIE and 26 with severe HIE. Comparison was performed between these two groups.METHODS: BRS and the Infant and Child Mental Development Scales,made by The Institute of Psychology of The Chinese Academy of Science and The China National Children' s Center(CNCC), were adopted in the assessment between the two groups.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Mental Development Index(MDI) and Psychomotor Development Index(PDI) scores of the two groups were compared.were significantly higher in the intervention group(90.50 ± 11.12/90. 34±12.49,94.06±14.96/92.03±13.07,90.78±7.46/91.38 ± 13.87)than those in the control group(62.28±7.44/62.67±6.06, 59.11following-up results showed that one patient in the intervention group had a MDI score at the critical threshold value, and two patients had PDI scores at the critical threshold value. For all the other patients in this group, the MDI/PDI scores of them were above the moderate range. In contrast, all the 36 infants in control group had developed mental deficiencies at that time.CONCLUSION: A quantifiable effect of the intervention can be observed in patients at 3 months of life. This indicates that an early intervention is essential for improving the mental development in infants with HIE.

Objective To investigate the relationship between molecular subtypes of breast cancer and postoperative loco-regional recurrence (LR) in early breast cancer patients with 1-3 positive axillary lymph nodes (pN1) and to improve the individualized indications for post-mastectomy radiotherapy (PMRT)in these patients.Methods A total of 547 patients with pT1-2 N1M0 breast cancer,who received mastectomy between December 1998 and December 2009 in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center,were retrospectively analyzed.None of them received adjuvant radiotherapy after mastectomy.The patients were divided into luminal A group,luminal B group,HER-2-overexpressing group,and triple-negative group according to the molecular subtypes of breast cancer determined by immunohistochemistry and fluorescence in situ hybridization.The patients in different groups were compared in terms of LR rate (LRR) and LR-free survival (LRFS),and the risk factors for LR were analyzed in combination with clinical and pathological features.The Kaplan-Meier method was adopted to calculate LRR and LRFS;the Logrank test was used for survival difference analysis and univariate prognostic analysis.The Cox proportional hazards model was used for multivariate prognostic analysis.Results The luminal A group,luminal B group,HER-2-overexpressing group,and triple-negative group accounted for 30.0％,48.6％,9.3％,and 12.1％,respectively,of all the patients.The follow-up rate was 97.1％ ;334 patients were followed up for at least 5 years,and 127 were followed up for at least 10 years.Univariate analysis showed that,compared with the luminal A group,the HER-2-overexpressing group and triple-negative group had significantly higher 5-year LRRs (19.0％ vs 5.3％,x2 =4.28,P =0.026; 14.9％ vs 5.3％,x2 =5.02,P =0.015) and significantly lower LRFSs (73.5％ vs 91.1％,x2=7.27,P=0.005;80.6％ vs 91.1％,x2=4.77,P=0.021).Multivariate analysis revealed that HER-2 overexpression,triple-negative phenotype,age of ≤ 35 years,and stage pT2 were poor prognostic factors for survival (LRR and LRFS) (x2 =2.29,2.08,18.22,and 6.86,P =0.020,0.016,0.001,and 0.005;x2 =1.90,1.41,8.58,and 3.94,P=0.006,0.025,0.002,and 0.039).The 10-year LRRs of patients with 0,1,and ≥2 of the above risk factors were 4.3％,14.1％,and 31.9％,respectively (x2 =28.03,P =0.000).Conclusions Molecular subtyping is helpful for individualized evaluation of LR risk in early breast cancer patients with 1-3 positive axillary lymph nodes (pN1).PMRT should be recommended for the patients with 2 or more risk factors for LR.

Purpose To investigate the clinicopathological features of the adult rhabdomyoma (A-RM) in the oral and maxillofacial region.Methods Three cases of A-RM in the oral and maxillofacial region were analyzed for the clinical symptoms,imaging data,pathological features,differential diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis with the literatures review.Results The age arranged from 4 yea~ to 83 years in three A-RM cases.Two cases were male and one case was female.Two cases occurred in the mouth floor and one case in the tongue.Three A-RM cases presented as slowly growing,painless masses clinically.The masses were lobular,red-brown nodules with clear boundary.Histologically,they consisted of densely packed,large,round and polygonal cells with abundant granular eosinophilic cytoplasm.Cross striations and vacuoles were seen in the cytoplasm.Tumor cells expressed desmin and myoglobin,partially expressed SMA,MyoD1 and S-100 protein.PAS was also positive among tumor cells and could be digested by the diastasum diastace.Conclusion Histological examination is the main diagnostic basis for A-RM.For accurate diagnosis,cross striations and immunohistochemistry for myogenic proteins in cytoplasm are of pivotal importance.Radical resection is the main treatment with generally promising prognosis.

Objective To explore the effect of arsenic trioxide maintenance therapy on the long-term recur-rence rate in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia ( APL ) . Methods From December 2011 to December 2013,60 patients with APL in the First People's Hospital of Huzhou were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 30 cases in each group. All patients received the same induction therapy and consolidation therapy. During the maintenance treatment period, all - trans retinoic acid ( ATRA) was given to the control group,and arsenic trioxide was used in the observation group. The serum levels and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were detected and compared after two cycles of the maintenance therapy. Three years of follow - up was conducted after treatment to record and compare the recurrence rate and survival rate in the two groups. Results The levels of TC and TG after 1 and 2 cycles of treatment were higher than those before treatment in both two groups(all P<0. 05),but the levels of lipid indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (t=2. 044,2. 175,all P<0. 05). The incidence rates of retinoic acid syndrome,elevated intracranial pressure and other adverse reactions in the observation group during the treatment were lower than those in the control group(6. 67％ vs. 26. 67％,6. 67％ vs. 30. 00％,6. 67％ vs. 26. 67％),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =0. 043,0. 023,0. 043,all P<0. 05). The survival rates after 2 and 3 years of treatment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(90. 00％ vs. 66. 67％,83. 33％ vs. 60. 00％),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =4. 812,4. 812,all P<0. 05). The recurrence rate after 3 years of treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(10. 00％ vs. 33. 33％),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =4. 812,P <0. 05). Conclusion For patients with APL, the application of arsenic trioxide in the maintenance therapy can produce no significant effect on their lipid metabolism, and at a certain extent, can help reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate,and improve the survival rate.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of probiotics on chemotherapy-induced intestinal mucositis in rats.Methods The databases including PubMed,EMbase,Cochrane,CBM,CNKI,WanFang and VIP were retrieved from their establishment to April 2016.The related randomized controlled trials(RCT) on the effects of probiotics for treating chemotherapy-induced intestinal mocositis in rats were included.The relevant literatures were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,then the data were extracted and analyzed.Results Total 6 RCT were included.Compared with the control group,the intestinal secretion and absorption function in the probiotics group was strengtnened[SMD=1.73,95 ％CI(0.79,2.68),P＜0.01],jejunal anti-oxidant capacity was increased [SMD=-2.12,95％CI(-3.56,-0.67),P＜0.01],however low dose probiotics (＜1 × 109 cfu/d)had no protective effect on small intestine[SMDjejunum =-0.06,95％CI(-0.51,0.40),SMDileum =0.02,95％ CI(-0.71,0.75);P ＞0.05],while high dose probiotics(≥ 1 × 109 cfu/d) could reduce the intestinal pathological damage[SMDjejunum =-0.64,95 ％ CI (-1.20,-0.09),SMDileum=-0.85,95％ CI(-1.59,-0.12);P＜0.05].Conclusion High dose probiotics can reduce chemotherapy-induced intestinal mucositis in rats.Because of less included literatures and the influence of publication bias,the effect of probiotics on chemotherapy induced mucositis could be overestimated.

Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the practicability and efficiency of iFlow assistant function in lower extremity vascular disease angioplasty.Methods Retrospective analysis to 22 patients with lower extremity vascular disease in our single center from Septmber 2013 to November 2013, 19 males and 3 females with mean age(66.31 ± 7.46)years, iFlow technology was utilized to analyze the Region Of Interest(ROI) Peak Time(PeakTime) in pre-and post-angioplasty of lower extremity artery and assessed the state of vessel stenosis and blood flow perfusion, as well Doppler ultrasound in postoperative was used to double identify iFlow results.The results of vessel lesion, such as state of stenosis and occlusion were diagnosed by two senior doctors individually, as well as ROI Peak Time was recorded by technician.Results The iFlow technique performed that the ROI PeakTime in the region of interest was significantly decreased in postoperative in comparison to pre-angioplasty [(0.48 ± 0.39) s vs.(1.32 ± 0.60) s, t =8.836, P ＜ 0.001].The Doppler ultrasound in postoperative showed that the ankle-brachial index was significantly increased compared within preoperative (0.97 ± 0.16 vs.0.49 ± 0.11, t =-10.205, P ＜ 0.001).The results of iFlow technique in intraoperative were consistent with those of Doppler ultrasound in postoperative.Conclusion iFlow technique is effective to evaluate hemodynamic change of blood flow in vessel lesion in pre-and postangioplasty, which is assistive technique to assess the efficiency and prognosis in angioplasty.
