Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2003;9(3):153-155
ObjectiveTo explore the change of the concentration of monoamine neurotransmitters in serum in patients with post stroke depression(PSD).Methods85 patients with acute stroke were screened by Center for Epidemiological Survey,Depression Scale(CES-D) and assessed by Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD).A clinical diagnostic of depression was made based on Diagnostic and Statistical Mannal of Mental Disorders, edition 4(DSM-Ⅳ).There were 34 patients who involved with depression(PSD group), the others(51 cases) not(no depression group).Other 20 normal persons were chosen as a control(control group). In all patients and control subjects, the concentrations of monoamine neurotransmitters in serum was measured.ResultsThe concentration of monoamine neurotransmitters in serum was significantly lower in patients with post stroke depression.ConclusionsPost stroke depression is related to decrease of concentrations of monoamine neurotransmitters in serum.

The image guided radio therapy (IGRT) Imaging System based on cone-beam computer tomography (CBCT) can reach the goal of improving the accuracy of the radiotherapy. However, because the clinical registration between CBCT images and Planning CT images is carried out manually, it inevitably reduces radiation positioning accuracy to some extent. To tackle the problem, we proposed a new feature vector selection method for the CBCT image elastic registration in the framework of hierarchical attribute matching mechanism for elastic registration (HAMMER) algorithm. We analyzed the characteristics of HAMMER algorithm and used Canny operator which has a better edge detection and positioning performance to replace the noise-sensitive gradient amplitude. Therefore, we used a new attribute vector, which consisted of the intensity, Laplacian of the Gaussian and Canny operator, to ex tract the image feature points in CBCT and planning CT images. We also presented an adaptive feature-point selection method and the choice criteria of attribute vector weights. Experimental results showed that the new feature vector effectively avoided the noise interference resulted from scattering lines in CBCT images to improve registration accuracy, and it also decreased the required feature point numbers and reduced the computation redundancy, so that it provided a new approach for the clinical elastic registration of CBCT and Planning CT rapidly and accurately.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2013;(6):83-85
Objective To investigate the effects of health education on diet and behaviors in stegmonth. Methods Three hundred and forty three primiparas were divided into the experiment and control group. The 163 primiparas in the experiment group took the courses in the pregnant women’s school and 180 primiparas in the control group did not.The differences of diet and daily behaviors in stegmonth were compared between the two groups. Results There were statistically significant differences in the rate of diet, health behaviors, breast feeding between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion The health education for the pregnant woman can enhance their sense of self care, change their wrong behaviors, and improve the rate of breast feeding.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2010;37(6):342-344
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics and etiological factors of cervical cancer in young Uygur women in Xinjiang. Methods" We reviewed 350 cases of young Uygur females diagnosed with cervical cancer in our hospital during 1998-2007.The patients were divided into two groups according to their admission time (1998~2002 group and 2003~2007 group). Results: The incidence of cervical carcinoma among yong Uygur women was 12.9% in the 1998-2002 group and 10.3% in the 2003-2007 group. The first symptom was vaginal contactive bleeding. In both groups, most patients were peasants, but the percentages of highbrow was higher in the 2003-2007 group.Patients in the 2003~2007 group were of older age at first marriage and had lower rate of abortion. There was no significant difference in histological type between the two groups. However, patients in the 2003-2007 group presented with much earlier stage of cervical cancer and 56.9% of them were of stage Ⅱ disease, compared with 18.1% in the 1998-2002 group (P<0.05).Squamous cell carcinoma was the dominant histological type. Conclusion: The incidence of cervical carcinoma in young Uygur women tends to decrease due to screening and advocation of late marriage, less reproduction in remote rural areas of Xinjiang.

Objective To study the association between three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP; rs2241766,rs1501299 and rs12495941) variants of the adiponectin gene (ADIPOQ) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in PCOS family trios. Methods A total of 224 unrelated PCOS probands, their biological parents were recruited.Anthropometric variables such as waist circumference (WC),hip circumference (HC),height and weight were measured in all subjects during the first visit to the outpatient department.Body mass index (BMI) and waist-hip ratio (WHR) were calculated.Serum fasting glucose (FBG),fasting insulin (FINS),total cholesterol (TC),triglycerides (TG),low-density lipoprotein and highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) levels were measured.PCOS patients were divided into two groups based on BMh group A (BMI<25 kg/m2) and group B (BMI≥25 kg/m2).Parents of PCOS patients were accordingly categorized into group C,D (fathers) and group E,F (mothers). The transmission disequilibrium test (TDT) was used to analyze the association between three SNP of ADIPOQ and PCOS.Results (1) A significant positive association was detected between SNP rs1501299 and PCOS (x2=7.093,P=0.008).However we failed to find significant overtransmission of the other two SNP rs2241766 and rs12495941 from parents to PCOS offsprings (x2=1.620,P=0.203; x2=0.713,P=0.398).(2) Linkage disequilibrium (LD) was analyzed in the subjects,rs1501299 and rs2241766 were in weak LD (r2=0.063,D'=0.621).(3) The levels of WC,HC,WHR,testosterone,TG,HDL and FINS were significantly differences between obese and lean PCOS patients (P<0.05).While in fathers we only found WC,HC,TC levels being statistically different (P< 0.05).Mothers of obese PCOS patients had increased levels of FINS compared with mothers of lean PCOS patients (P<0.05).The genotype frequencies of the three SNP were not different in obese and lean PCOS patients and their parents (P>0.05).Conclusions TDT confirms that SNP rs1501299 in the ADIPOQ is significantly associated with the risk of PCOS in the Chinese Han population. The three SNP of the ADIPOQ were not associated with the obesity of PCOS.

each group were sacrificed, respectively. Distributions of BrdU positive cels and ChAT positive cels were detected by S-P immunohistochemical method. The learning and memory abilities of rats were detected by Morris water maze system.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:BrdU positive cels were mainly distributed in the cortex and hippocampus, especialy around the blood vessels, and there was the presence of focal aggregation. A smal amount of BrdU positive cels were observed in the basal ganglia and thalamus as wel as in the ependyma. BrdU positive cels were counted at different time after operation. The number of BrdU positive cels decreased with time, and only a smal number of BrdU positive cels were observed at 60 days after transplantation. The number of ChAT positive cels at different time after transplantation was ranked as folows: neural stem cel transplantation group > model group > sham operated group (P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, the time for searching the platform was significantly lower in the neural stem transplantation group and sham operated group, but the number of crossing the platform was significantly higher in the neural stem cel transplantation group and sham operated group (P < 0.05). The results show that neural stem cels could be transplanted into the rats with vascular dementia, and the cels could survive and migrate in the brain of rats and significantly improve the learning and memory ability. This mechanism may be related to the differentiation and growth of cholinergic neurons in the hippocampus.
