Objective To discuss different effect of periocular injection and subconjunctival injection in treatment of iridocyclitis. Methods Eighty people with iridocyclitis were divided into group A and group B according to their admission order. Group A adopted periocular injection and group B was given subconjunctival injection. The incidence of complication was compared between the two groups. Results Significant difference existed in complications and related factors between two groups after treatment, periocular injection proved to be superior to subconjunctival injection. Conclusions Periocular injection is a desirable treatment method for iridocyclitis. It is easy to operate, safe, rapid and with less pain, so it is worthy of clinical application.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2008;22(4):171-173
OBJECTIVE:
To study synergistic effect of Vitamin C (VitC) combined with arsenic trioxide (As2 O3)-on human laryngocarcinoma Hep-2 cell line apoptosis.
METHOD:
Human laryngocarcinoma cell line Hep-2 was cultured in vitro, and incubated with As2 O3 or jointly with VitC. The inhibition ability of Hep-2 cells was determined by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, while the apoptosis was mensurated by the flow cytometry with Annexin-V/PI.
RESULT:
Compared with the use of As2 O3 separately, the combination of As2 O3 and VitC could increase the inhibition ability and the apoptosis rate of Hep-2 cells markedly (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Combination of As2 O3 with VitC could markedly increase arsenic trioxide (As2 O3)-induced apoptosis of Hep-2 cells.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(3):178-180
ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of medication management and symptom management skills-training for preventing schizophrenics' relapse and rehabilitating their mental handicaps.Methods133 subjects were randomly assigned to the skills training group and the control group. Both groups received the same treatment, but the skills training courses were given to the skills training group for the first twenty weeks. One-year follow-up was carried out. All subjects were evaluated with standard rating scales and self-complied drug treatment compliance rating scale. Results128 subjects had completed the research. The skills training group demonstrated clinical results significantly superior to those of the control group on overall improvement according to the total score of the drug treatment compliance rating scale, the rate of relapse, the rate of re-hospitalization and the rate of effectiveness of minimizing handicap(147.9±53.2 vs. 90.4±16.3, 146.1±20.0 vs. 91.7±16.7;12.5% vs. 55%; 3.2% vs. 39.6%;86.5% vs. 26.5%, P<0.01).Conclusions The two kinds of skills training are effective in both preventing the relapse of schizophrenics in the community and minimizing their handicap.

Objective To investigate the mRNA and protein expression of somatostatin receptors in hepatocellular carcinoma HCCLM3 cell lines and to explore the mechanism by which somatostatin effects on hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods RT-PCR., immunocytochemistry and MTT were used to detect mRNA and protein expression of somatostatin receptors in hepatocellular carcinoma cells and evaluate the antiproliferative effect of somatostatin. Results The effect of somatostatin on the cellular proliferation was verified. Immunocytochemistry study revealed a mainly intracellular distribution of all SSTRs with unique patterns for each of them. mRNA expression of all 5 subtypes of somatostatin receptors was different, SSTR2 and SSTR1 mRNA expressions were significantly higher than SSTR3, SSTR4 and SSTR5 ( P

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2021;20(5):597-600
Objective:To explore the application of Sojump in clinical teaching assessment of nursing students in operating room and to evaluate its effect. Methods:The graduation examination results of nursing students in clinical practice in the operating room of Second Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Shantou University from 2017 to 2019 were collected, the results of 2017-2018 as the control group, and those of 2018-2019 as the observation group. The control group took the paper handwriting test, and the observation group took the electronic Sojump test, and the two-year graduation examination results were compared. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the nursing students' satisfaction with the teaching work of the teachers in 2018-2019, and the teachers' feelings of the teachers' training was investigated with the questionnaire. SPSS 22.0 was used for t test. Results:The graduation examination scores of all educational levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences between the two groups ( P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of nursing students who did not understand the contents of the questionnaire and studied again was 98.19%, and the teachers' satisfaction rate of automatic marking of Sojump test was 100%. Conclusion:Sojump is easily and efficiently operational, paperless, targeted teaching, which can promote teaching by evaluation, and reach high satisfaction of nursing students and teachers, worthy of promotion in clinical teaching.

Objective:
To study serum HCV antibody (anti-HCV) with geographic distribution characteristics in Zhejiang Province.
Methods:
A stratified random cluster sampling method was used. Serum samples of the surveyed population were collected from selected hospitals, anti-HCV antibodies were examined, then hepatitis C infection rates among different genders, regions and age groups were analyzed. The anti-HCV rate was compared using the

Journal of Southern Medical University 2019;39(2):186-191
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the expression patterns of transcription factor SOX12 in lung adenocarcinoma and its significance in the diagnosis and prognosis of the malignancy.
METHODS:
Large cancer genome databases were used to analyze SOX12 expression level in lung adenocarcinoma. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and semiquantitative PCR were used to detect the expression of SOX12 in 36 specimens of lung adenocarcinoma tissues, 15 adjacent tissues and 21 normal lung tissues. The prognostic value of SOX12 in lung adenocarcinoma and lung squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed using Kaplan-Meier Plotter database, and the relationship between SOX12 expression and the overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PPS) of the patients were analyzed.
RESULTS:
Analysis of TCGA database and GEO (GSE40419) database showed that SOX12 expression levels were significantly higher in in lung adenocarcinoma than in normal lung tissues ( < 0.001). The results of IHC and semiquantitative PCR revealed that SOX12 was expressed at significantly higher levels in lung adenocarcinoma than in normal lung tissues ( < 0.001). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients with lung adenocarcinoma positive for SOX12 had a significantly shorter OS and PPS time than those negative for SOX12 ( < 0.05), but SOX12 positivity did not significantly affect OS and PPS of patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma.
CONCLUSIONS
High expression levels of SOX12 in lung adenocarcinoma are significantly associated with a poor OS of the patients, suggesting the value of SOX12 to assist in early diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of lung adenocarcinoma.
