1.Deep lamellar keratoplasty:a new surgical technique for corneal clarity recovery

As compared with penetrating keratoplasty(PKP), deep lamellar keratoplasty(DLKP) offers the same effect for recovery of corneal clarity in patients who have corneal stromal abnormality and/or opacity with normal endothelium. Many technical advances have been made for carrying out DLKP during past decade. However, the current status of the surgery is still technical difficulty, time consuming, possibly incomplete removal of recipient stroma or perforation of Descemet's membrane. As there may be further improvement of the technique, DLKP can be mastered by more ophthalmologists to treat patients who are currently considered as candidates for PKP. 2.New nursing method for urinary fistula complicated after gynecological malignancy operation

Objective To study the new nursing method of patients complicated with urinary fistula after gynecological malignancy operation. Methods Nursing measures were provided with sufficient nutritional support and prevention of urinary tract infection by perineal nursing, vaginal plugging by OB sliver,and using endovaginal catheter to 23 patients complicated with urinary fistula after gynecological malignancy operation. Results 18 patients recovered by treatment and nursing, 4 mild cases cured after discharge from hospital and 1 patient died of MODS and multiple metastasis. Conclusions Vaginal plugging by OB sliver, perineal nursing and sufficient nutritional support have positive effect for patients complicated with urinary fistula after gynecological malignancy operation.
3.Research progress on long noncoding RNA of autoimmune diseases

The long noncoding RNAs refers to RNA transcripts more than 200 nucleotides in length,and do not encode proteins.In the end of the 20th century,the lncRNAs were found to play crucial role in many important biological processes,including embryonic development,cell differentiation,species evolution,metabolism,and disease occurrence by the scientific community.Currently,multiple studies have indicated that long noncoding RNAs have participated in rheumatic diseases,immune response,immune cell differentiation,and dynamic balance of the immune system.Therefore,summary of the roles of lncRNAs in rheumatic diseases could be beneficial to understand the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.This review article attempts to highlight the recent progresses regarding IncRNAs studies and the relationship between long noncoding RNA and rheumatic diseases by taking systemic lupus erythematosus,rheumatoid arthritis,arthritis and other typical diseases as examples.
4.The Previous and Current Status of Hypertension, Hyperglycemia and Hyperlipidemia among the Primary and Middle School Teachers in Wuhu City

Objective To explore the previous and current status of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia in teachers of the primary and middle high schools of Wuhu city. Methods 2 026 teachers aged 30~85 yrs were cluster sampled from 10 primary and 10 middle high schools in WuHu city. They were investigated on their previous examination of blood pressure, blood glucose & lipids, and current prevalence of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia. Results The previous detection rates of the blood pressure, blood glucose and the blood lipid were 65.24%, 35.21% and 37.84%, respectively. The female previous detection rate of blood glucose and lipids was significant higher than those of the male (?2=4.42,P=0.035;?2=5.42, P=0.020). The result of trends test showed that detection rates were increased with the age increasing. The prevalence of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were 21.39%, 3.21% and 37.90%, respectively, among the participations without previous detection for the blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid, the hypertension prevalence was significant difference between the male and female participations (26.29% vs 18.68%; ?2=5.58, P=0.018). The medication compliance rate of the hypertensions, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were 70.75%, 70.74% and 15.18% and the control rates were 47.04%, 72.22% and 5.85%. Concludes It is important to strengthen the detection of the blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid in community population in order to prevent and control the cardiovascular diseases.
5.Functions of the ATP-binding cassette transporters of Rv1273c and Rv1272c in Mycobacterium tuber-culosis

Objective To investigate the functions of Rv1273c and Rv1272c, two ATP-binding cassette transporters (ABC transporters) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis). Methods The ethidium bromide ( EB)-agar cartwheel and EB accumulation assays were used to detect the transport direc-tion of Rv1273c and Rv1272c in the recombinant strains of BL21/pET-28a-rv1273c and BL21/pET-28a-rv1272c, which were constructed by our lab in the previous study. RT-PCR was used to confirm whether rv1273c and rv1272c genes were in the same operon. Real-time PCR was performed to detect the expression of rv1272c and rv1273c genes in M. tuberculosis strains of H37Rv and H37Ra. Results Both the EB-agar cartwheel and the EB accumulation assays indicated that Rv1273c and Rv1272c transported EB into cells. Results of the RT-PCR showed that rv1273c and rv1272c were in the same operon. The expression of rv1273c and rv1272c at mRNA level in M. tuberculosis H37Ra strain were about 6 times higher than those in M. tuber-culosis H37Rv strain. Conclusion Rv1273c and Rv1272c are ABC importers and might be related to the virulence of M. tuberculosis.
6.Advances of brain imaging in internet addicts with brain damage

In recent five years,brain imaging studies suggested that internet addicts' neural pathway have abnormalities in reward circuits,executive control system,and decision-making system when they are in resting state or induced state.For internet addicts,in the aspect of reward circuits,they showed decreased metabolism level when undergoing a resting-state fMRI scan,and enhanced reward sensitivity as well as decreased loss sensitivity when functioning.In the aspect of executive control system,the related brain areas were associated with reduced white matter integrity and disrupted functional comnectivity in resting-state.When the task was internet-related,internet addicts showed enhanced executive control function.However,when the task was not internet-related,they showed reduced executive control function.In the aspect of decision-making system,reduced cortical thickness in related brain areas was found when internet addicts are in resting-state,and they possess high impulsivity and high risk tendency when they are in induced state.These findings are consistent with the conclusions of substance addicts which are based on the research of brain imaging,therefore,we preliminary think the internet addiction is a new type of addictive mental disorder.
7.Discussion on the Coping style of Undergraduates and the Correlative Factors during the Epidemic Period of SARS

Objective:To explore the coping styles and the correlative factors in college students during the epidemic period of SARS. Methods:Questionnaires of ways of coping, psychological & behavioral and EPQ were used to investigate. Data were analysed with a multiple correlation and regression analysis by SPSS.Results:The style that “Don't take a question so serious ”was used mostly. How to cope with SARS was mainly influenced by dread, psychoticism,extrovision-introvision factor and age.Conclusions:Generally college students can positively react to SARS, but there are still many problems. Psychological education should be given on coping with emergent and sudden events of public health to college students.
8.Compound Gentamicin-Fluorometholone vs Tobramycin-Dexamethasone Eyedrops after Cataract Phacoemulsification:A Clinical Comparative Study

OBJECTIVE To investigate influence of compound gentamicin-fluorometholone(GentaFluoro) and tobramycin dexamethasone(TobraDex) eyedrops for treating ocular inflammation after cataract phacoemulsification.METHODS Sixty eyes in 60 patients after cataract phacoemulsification were equally randomized into two groups,such as GentaFluoro group and TobraDex group according to order of operation.Two groups were used respectively the two sort of eyedrops: GentaFluoro and TobraDex were used 6 times per day during first three days after the operation,later four days were four times per day.RESULTS GentaFluoro group and TobraDex group had identical results in controlling inflammation of anterior chamber. CONCLUSIONS The effects of GentaFluoro and TobraDex eyedrops for treating ocular inflammation after phacoemulsification are reliable.
9.Correlation between mutation of p53 gene 2-4 exons from peripheral blood and HPV16 positive cervical cancer susceptibility and clinical significance

Objective To detect mutations of p53 gene 2-4 exons from peripheral blood and to explore their relevance in HPV16-positive cervical cancer susceptibility and clinical significance. Methods Collected firstly cases from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from October 2012 to April 2014, included 167 cases HPV16-postive cervical cancer and 160 cases HPV-negative healthy women. Genomic DNA from the host peripheral venous blood was taken, mutations of p53 gene 2-4 exons were analyzed with software DNAstar after PCR and bidirectional sequencing. Meanwhile,mutations of p53 gene 2-4 exons among different clinicopathological characteristics in HPV16-postive cervical cancer were distinguished. Results (1)Three mutations and an 16-bp insertion/deletion sequences were found in p53 gene exons 2-4, included C/G mutation of single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)11827 in intron2, A/C mutation of SNP11992 in intron3, C/G mutation in codon 72 (rs1042522) of exon4 and 16-bp(acctggagggctgggg) repeat insertion or deletion in intron3 (rs17878362), while deletion recorded as A1, insertion recorded as A2. No significant differences were found in each point allele and genotype frequency(P>0.05). (2) Stratified analysis for cervical cancer group resulted with some differences. Compared group of non-squamous carcinoma with squamous carcinoma group, there were obviously decreased in allete A2 [11.8%(4/34) vs 3.5%(10/284); χ2=4.90,P=0.027], genotype A1A2 [4/17 vs 7.0%(10/142); χ2=5.14,P=0.023], and haplotype C-A2 [11.8%(4/34)vs 3.5%(10/284);χ2=4.91,P=0.027]. Compared with poorly differentiated group,allele C of SNP11827 and rs1042522 were obviously decreased in medium high differentiation group [50.8%(61/120)vs 38.8%(62/160);χ2=4.07,P=0.044], while haplotype G-A1 were apparently higher [49.2%(59/120)vs 61.2%(98/160);χ2=4.07,P=0.044], genotype GG of SNP11827 and rs1042522 were obviously decreased in superficial myometrial invasion depth group than that in deep myometrial invasion depth group [46.3%(25/54) vs 21.1%(8/38); χ2=7.06,P=0.029]. No significant differences were found between stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ, pelvic lymph node metastasis or not (all P>0.05). Conclusions No obvious correlation is found between polymorphisms in exons 2-4 of p53 gene and susceptibility of HPV16-postive cervical cancer. But the patient with allete C and A2, genotype GG and A1A2, haplotype C-A2 and G-A1 may be increase risk of poorly differentiation, deep muscular invasion and bad pathological type. Analysis of p53 gene polymorphism may be provide a basis for the prognosis evaluation and individualized treatment of cervical cancer.
10.The clinical significance of the change of serum HER2/neu concentration during neoadjuvant chemotherapy of the HER2-overexpressed breast cancer

Objective To explore the change of serum HER2/neu concentration during neoadjuvant chemotherapy for HER2-overexpressed breast cancer and its correlation with the response to the neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Methods The concentration of the serum HER2/neu in 78 cases of HER2-overexpressed advanced breast cancer treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy were detected with enzyme-linked immunosordent assay(ELISA).The relationship between the serum HER2/neu concentration and the response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was analyzed.Results The serum HER2/neu concentration of befor and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 18.6 ± 10.0ng/ml,11.6 ± 6.lng/ml respectively.The serum HER2/neu concentration decreased significantly(P < 0.001).The response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was correlated with the change of the serum HER2/neu concentration.The pathologic complete response was correlated with the serum HER2/neu concentration of prechemotherapy and the change of the serum HER2/neu concentration.Conclusion The change of serum HER2/neu concentration may serve as a marker predicting the response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in HER2-overexpressed breast cancer.
