Objective To compare the efficiency and safety of double-channel flexible ureteroscopy and electronic flexible ureteroscopy. Methods From April 2007 to 2016 July, clinical data of 836 cases flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy were collected. All the patients were randomly divided into electronic lfexible ureteroscopy group (n = 427) and double-channel lfexible ureteroscopy group (n = 409), the operation time, success rate of surgery, complications, residual stone rate of the two groups were compared. Results The success rate of surgery was 92.5% and 83.6% of the two groups respectively, the difference was significant (P < 0.05); postoperative systemic inlfammatory response syndrome (SIRS) were occurred in 10 cases and 13 cases respectively, which were cured and the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05); the average operation time was (81.1 ± 7.9) min and (95.3 ± 7.6) min respectively, the difference was significant (P < 0.05); The formation of stone street of electronic lfexible ureteroscopy group and double-channel lfexible ureteroscopy group were 17 cases and 25 cases. The residual stone rate of electronic flexible ureteroscopy group and double-channel flexible ureteroscopy group were 6 cases and 8 cases, of them were cleared after extracorporeal shockwave lithotrips (ESWL). There were no difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Both double-channel lfexible ureteroscopy and electronic lfexible ureteroscopy are effective and safe therapeutic modalities. Electronic flexible ureteroscopy is better than double-channel lfexible ureteroscopy in success rate of surgery because of its high deifnition and lfexible operation.

Pancreatic ductal carcinoma accounts for 85%-90% in pancreatic cancer, followed by the pancreatic cellendocrine tumors and pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma. In addition, mesenchymal cell carcinoma of pancreas is rare, and a mixed pancreatic cancer from 3 cells carcinoma is extremely rare. And pancreatic cancer always assume hypovascular tumor, spontaneous rupture of pancreatic cancer is rarely reported.A patient with a mixed duct-acinar-islet cell tumor of pancreas was admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University in June 2014, and underwent emergent operation of intraabdominal bleeding due to spontaneous rupture of tumor. The follow-up was done up to January 20, 2015.The patient died of intraabdominal widespread implantation metastasis of pancreatic cancer.A mixed duct-acinar-islet cell tumor of pancreas is extremely rare and easy to metastasis and diffusion of tumor with a rapid disease progression and a poor prognosis of patient, while operation is the key to terminate deterioration of the condition, and is the last line of defense to save lives.

Objective:To synthesize a new β-amyloid (Aβ) radioactive tracer (2-((2-6-[ 18F]fluoro-5-(methylamino)pyridin-2-yl)benzothiazol-6-yl)thio)ethanol ( 18F-FINH-Me), and evaluate its biological distribution and affinity to Aβ plaques. Methods:18F-FINH-Me was synthesized by GE FN automated module, and the quality control and stability of 18F-FINH-Me were determined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The biodistribution of 18F-FINH-Me was observed in normal C57BL/6 mice ( n=25). MicroPET/CT imaging was performed in Alzheimer′s disease (AD) model mice( n=5) and matched normal C57BL/6 mice( n=5). The brain tissues of mice were taken for Aβ immunohistochemical staining. 18F-FINH-Me autoradiography was performed in postmortem brain sections of one AD patient (female, 69 years old) and one healthy volunteer (female, 66 years old). Results:The decay correction yield of 18F-FINH-Me was (53±4)% ( n>20) with the radioactive purity of more than 98% ( n>20) and the specific activity of 79.90-122.00 GBq/μmol ( n=10). 18F-FINH-Me was stable in phosphate buffered solution (PBS) after incubation for 4 h at room temperature. The biodistribution showed that 18F-FINH-Me was mainly excreted through the liver and kidneys. MicroPET/CT imaging showed that 18F-FINH-Me was obviously uptaken in the brain of AD mice. After injection for 1-2 min, the uptake of 18F-FINH-Me reached the peak, and the elution speed was fast (whole brain standardized uptake value: 0.73±0.17 for 1 min, 0.31±0.06 for 30 min). The immunohistochemistry showed that there were abundant Aβ plaques in the brain of AD model mice but not in the normal C57BL/6 mice brain. The autoradiographic results showed that 18F-FINH-Me exhibited substantial plaque labeling in brain sections of one AD patient but not in the healthy volunteer. Conclusion:18F-FINH-Me may be an effective PET agent for detecting Aβ plaques in brain.

Neuroscience Bulletin 2018;34(3):517-526
The process of reading words depends heavily on efficient visual skills, including analyzing and decomposing basic visual features. Surprisingly, previous reading-related studies have almost exclusively focused on gross aspects of visual skills, while only very few have investigated the role of finer skills. The present study filled this gap and examined the relations of two finer visual skills measured by grating acuity (the ability to resolve periodic luminance variations across space) and Vernier acuity (the ability to detect/discriminate relative locations of features) to Chinese character-processing as measured by character form-matching and lexical decision tasks in skilled adult readers. The results showed that Vernier acuity was significantly correlated with performance in character form-matching but not visual symbol form-matching, while no correlation was found between grating acuity and character processing. Interestingly, we found no correlation of the two visual skills with lexical decision performance. These findings provide for the first time empirical evidence that the finer visual skills, particularly as reflected in Vernier acuity, may directly contribute to an early stage of hierarchical word processing.
