Using questionnaire of self-concept to 144 senior students,the study tries to understand the character of university students'appraisals of their social comparison,appraisals of their earlier and present selves.The result shows:For all social comparison in the past and present,university students tend to rank themselves as superior to a majority of their peers;in comparison with their earlier and present selves,there is significant difference in feature,school achievement,maturation,ambition,and self-acceptance.And present self is superior to earlier self on feature and self-acceptance,inferior to earlier self on school achievement,ambition and maturation.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics,diagnosis and therapy,as well as the prognosis of accessory breast cancer. Methods Twenty-two cases were diagnosed as accessory breast cancer from Jan 1,1984 to Dec 31,2008, their clinicopatholgical data were analyzed retrospectively.Results Up to Mar. 1, 2010,2 cases had local recurrence;7 cases had long-distance metastasis;6 cases died. In the current study,the 5-year survival rate of accessory breast cancer was 43. 7%. Conclusions Accessory breast cancer is aggressive. The diagnosis was mainly based on clinical characteristics and postoperative pathology. The combined therapies may improve the survival rate.

Traditionally,the nellrorl of central nervous system has been regarded as lack of regeneration capability.Recent studies have found that cerebral ischemia may activate neurogenesis in brains of adult mammals,and bring new hope for neural repair after ischemic brain injury.It is very necessary to fully understand the site of neurogenesis,process and neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia and its regulation mechanisms in adult mammals.

Objective To analyze the relationship between the urine iodine level in different pregnant periods of women and the thyroid function .Methods The pregnant women were randomly sampled in Foshan city and 490 cases were selected as the research subjects ,including 170 cases of early stage pregnancy ,162 cases of middle stage pregnancy and 158 cases of late stage pregnancy . According to the thyroid function ,490 subjects were divided into the normal thyroid function group and the abnormal thyroid func‐tion group .Results 140 cases(88 .61% ) in the late stage pregnancy had normal thyroid function ,which were less than 166 cases (97 .65% ) in the early stage pregnancy and 157 cases (96 .91% ) in the middle stage pregnancy ;the constituent ratio of urine iodine < 100 μg/L in the early stage pregnancy was 19 .88% (33/166) in the normal thyroid function ,which was lower than 75 .00%(3/5) in the abnormal thyroid function group .The constituent ratio of urine iodine 100 - 300 μg/L in the early stage pregnancy group was 56 .0% (93/166) ,which was higher than 0 .0% (0/4) in the of abnormal thyroid function group .Conclusion It is neces‐sary to conduct the urinary iodine monitoring in early pregnant woman ,moreover it is suggested that the thyroid function detection will be conducted in the pregnant women with urine iodine < 100 μg/L and urine iodine 100 - 300 μg/L .

Objective To study on the effect of dietary nutrition intervention in community on nutrition knowledge and dietary compliance in patients with psoriasis.Methods 40 patients with psoriasis were given a balanced diet pagoda and food exchange method,along with psoriasis nutrition knowledge manual to make individual and concise diet prescription.The nutrition knowledge and dietary compliance of patients before and after the intervention were compared.Results In a nutrition knowledge test,before the intervention,31 patients obtained a score below 60 which accounted for 77.5％,and 9 patients got higher score which meant 22.5％ patients had a good dietary compliance.After the intervention,18 patients (45.0％) got a score below 60,while 22 (55.5％) patients got a good score,the results after the intervention were statistically higher than those before the intervention.Conclusions Patients with psoriasis have poor cognitions and bad dietary compliance.After dietary nutrition intervention,the nutrition knowledge is enhanced and the dietary compliance gets higher,the dietary structure is improved,and consequently accelerate the recovery of disease.

Objective To investigate the correlation about the quantitative test result of 13C-urea breath test(13C-UBT) with the quantity of Helicobacter pylori( H.pylori) and the degree of gastric mucosal inflammation.Methods 13 C-UBT was tested in the children with upper gastrointestinal symptoms.Ninety-five cases of the children with positive result (DOBδ‰ ≥4.0) underwent endoscopy and gastroscopic biopsy.The correlation was analyzed between the result of the 13 C-UBT and the severity of gastric H.pylori infection and gastric mucosal inflammation.Results There were significant differences about DOB values between the group with severe gastric H.pylori infection and the group with mild to moderate infection ( P ＜ 0.05 ),the same result was observed between the group with severe gastric mucosal inflammation and the group with mild to moderate inflammation( P ＜ 0.05 ).There was certain correlation between DOB value and the amount of gastric H.pylori colonization and mucosal inflammation.Conclusion The quantitative test result of 13C-UBT could indicate the number of gastric H.pylori colonization,but lack a precise quantitative relationship between them.There was positive correlation between the DOB values and the degree of gastric inflammation.

This study is conducted to evaluate the protein quality of the spray-dried goat's milk powder made from milk of Qingdao's Laoshan dairy goats. Chemical analysis and rat experiment are included in the study with spray-dried powdered cow's milk and isolated soy protein as comparative substances and chemical pure casein as reference protein.The content of crude protein in the powdered goat's milk is 26.01% and the protein's limitting amino acid is sulphur containing amino acids with the AAS and CS being 0.91 and 0.52 respectively, similar to those of cow's milk protein. The percentage of EAA and the EAA index are 49.1% and 96.96%, as high as those of cow's milk. The results of the rat experiment designed according to AOAC showed that the PER, NPR, AD, TD, BV, NPU of the protein are 3.01, 4.62, 90.49%, 96.75%, 86.02 and 83.22% respectively. Except that the AD of goat's milk protein is slightly higher than that of cow's milk protein, there is no significant difference between two milk proteins on other nutritional parameters. The present study gives the conclusion that the protein of powdered goat's milk is at least as nutritious as that of powdered cow's milk, but more nutritious than chemical pure casein and far more nutritious than isolated soy protein.

Objective To explore the Cep70 by adjusting the stability of acetylated alpha tubulin,participate in breast cancer drug resistance mechanisms.Methods (1) In order to induce taxol drug resistance cell line Michigan cancer foundation-7 (MCF-7)/pac,high-dose shock treatments taxol MCF-7 was used for 6 months,until the cells can grow in 3.5 μmol/L of paclitaxel.(2) The 3-(4,5-dimenthylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) method was used to detect inhibition rate by taxol to MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac cell.(3) Immunofluorescence and Western blot were used to test acetylated alpha-tubulin and Cep70 expression levels in MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac cells.(4) Chemical intervention was used to acetylate apha-tubulin expression,Western blot and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used to detect the change of acetylated alpha-tubulin and Cep70 in MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac groups.Flow cytometry and Western blot were used to detect the change of cell cycle.Results (1) IC50 of MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac was 22.47 μ mol/L and 31.38 μmol/L,respectively.(2) Immunofluorescence and Western blot results showed that the expression of acetylation of alpha-tubulin in resistant MCF-7 cell/pac was obviously decreased.(3) Real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot showed Cep70 expression was consistent of acetylation of alpha-tubulin.(4) After incubation with paclitaxel for 24 hours,the expressions of acetylation of alpha-tubulin and Cep70 in MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac were increased,but the extent of MCF-7 cell was much higher.Instead,incubation with nocodazole after 24 hours,the acetylation of alpha-tubulin and Cep70 in MCF-7 and MCF-7/pac cells were obviously lowered.(5) After paclitaxel intervention,compared to the same group MCF-7 cells,the G2 phase ratio in MCF-7/pac cells was lower.In addition,given nocodazole after the intervention,compared to the same group MCF-7 cells,the ratio of G2 phase in MCF-7 cell/pac was significantly decreased.Conclusions Cep70 decreased the expression of the acetylated alpha-tubulin,reduced the stability of microtubules,which could be an important mechanism of taxol drug resistance.

Objective To reveal acetylated a-tubulin acts as pressure sensors,sensing the changes in extracellular matrix to impact on the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer.Methods The acetylated alpha microtubule protein expressions were detected,and its relationship with invasion and metastasis in breast cancer clinical specimens and different molecular subtypes of breast cancer cell lines were analyzed.The expression of acetylated a-tubulin was interfered through chemical methods,and cell morphology and the change of the invasion and metastasis ability were detected under the condition of different matrix hardness.Results The expression of acetylated a-tubulin was highest in basal-like breast cancer tissue and cell lines,and was lowest expressed in the luminal B breast cancer tissue and the breast cancer cell lines.The expression of acetylated a-microtubule was positively correlated with the occurrence of breast cancer.Under the condition of soft substrate cultivation,cell polarization was declined,becoming the circular or oval shape.The acetylated a-tubulin caused reduction in cell polarity,accompanied with less invasion and metastasis ability.Conclusions The acetylated a-tubulin acts as pressure sensors,sensing the sclerosis of extracellular matrix in the process of tumorigenesis,promoting invasion and metastasis of breast cancer.

Serum vitamin A, beta-carntene and lgG, IgA, IgM and T-lymphocyte Mastogenesis were measured in lung cancer patients, nonmalignant lung, disease and healthy controls matched lor age, sex and smoking. Mean serum vitamin A of lung cancer (except 5 adenocarcinoma) was significantly lower than that of healthy controls and non-malignant lung disease. Beta-caroiene levels were within the normal range, but mean serum beta-carotene concentration oi lung cancer patients was 24.7% lower, IgA of lung career and non-malignant lung disease patients was significantly higher, IgM and the rate of T-lymphocy te, blastogenesis of patients with lung cancer were lower than that of healthy controls, respectively. Serum IgG was not significant in 3 groups. An inverse relation, between serum vitamin A and IgM of hcalthy controls and arelation between serum vitamin A and IgG of lung cancer patients were observed. These data demonstrate an influence of vitamin A on immune function in lung cancer patients.
