Objective To quantize the synergistic force in movement of upper limbs between shoulders and elbows. Methods The trans-verse forces of elbows and shoulders during movement were recorded in a healthy adult with an upper-limb-force-measuring plate form which comprised of 2 three-dimensional force sensors, respectively. Then he performed shoulder abduction/adduction and elbow extension/flexion at 100%, 75%, 50%and 25%of the maximum contraction force, respectively. The ratio of the active action force and the joint action force (named assessment index) was used to assess the synergistic degree of the forearm and the upper arm. Results In the shoulder abduc-tion motion, the assessment index decreased as the strength of active action decreased, meant interference of joint action increased. Howev-er, it was almost stable in the shoulder adduction, increased in the elbow extensionas, and was irregular in the elbow flexion, as the active ac-tion strength decreased, respectively. Conclusion It may be more difficult to control upper arm than the forearm.

Objective To analyze the differential expression of D2 and D3 alternative splicing sites of human kinectin in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues, adjacent non-cancerous tissues and normal liver tissues, and to investigate a possible relationship between alternative splicing sites of kinectin and hepatocarcinogenesis. Methods The cDNA was obtained by RT-PCR in 45 coupled HCC cancerous and adjacent tissues, and 10 normal liver tissues. The difference in the expression of D2 and D3 alternative splicing sites in cDNA was examined by semi-quantitative PCR, and statistical analysis was performed. Results The ratio of D2L (long segment contains of the D2 region)/D2S (short segment that does not contain a D2 zone) in hepatocellular cancerous tissues was 2.709 ± 1.025, the ratio of D2L/D2S in adjacent non-cancerous tissues was 1.564 ± 0.357, and the ratio of D2L/D2S in normal liver tissues was 1.507 ± 0.499. The differences were statistically significant (F=29.698, P<0.05);the ratio of D2L/D2S in hepatocellular cancerous tissues was higher than that of adjacent non-cancerous tissues and normal liver tissues (P<0.05). The ratio of D3L (long segment contains of the D3 region)/D3S (short segment that does not contain a D3 zone) in hepatocellular cancerous tissues was 1.232 ± 0.041, the ratio of D3L/D3S in adjacent non-cancerous tissues was 1.156 ± 0.309, and the ratio of D3L/D3S in normal liver tissues was 1.282 ± 0.343. The ratio of D3L/D3S was not significantly different among hepatocellular cancerous tissues, adjacent non-cancerous tissues and normal liver tissues (F = 0.989, P > 0.05). Conclusion Variant containing D2 is over expressed in cancerous tissues and this alteration may be tumor associated.

Objective:To explore the application effect of blended learning on the teaching of nursing research course for undergraduate nursing students. Methods:From March to July 2019, a total of 118 undergraduate nursing students from Batch 2016 of a university in Xinjiang were collected in this study and divided into two groups randomly: the experimental group ( n = 60) and the control group ( n = 58). At the end of the course, the final examination scores of the nursing students were compared, and questionnaires were used to evaluate the critical thinking, self-directed learning ability and satisfaction of nursing students. SPSS 21.0 was used for independent-sample t-test and chi-square test. Results:After the implementation of the course, the scores of nursing research theory and practice of nursing students in the experimental group were (78.97±6.57) points and (83.02±3.50) points respectively, which were better than those of nursing students in the control group (75.48±7.76) points and (81.48±3.86) points. The total scores of critical thinking ability and self-directed learning ability of nursing students in the experimental group (294.67±25.15) and self-directed learning ability (277.67±30.84) were higher than those in the control group (222.03±18.77) and (203.81±33.19). The satisfaction degree of nursing students in the experimental group (93.33%) was better than that in the control group (60.34%), with statistical significance ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of blended learning in nursing research teaching can improve the final examination results of nursing students, and contribute to the improvement of nursing students' critical thinking ability, self-directed learning ability and course satisfaction.
