BACKGROUND: Subsequent to liver transplantation, pulmonary infection and new drug resistant strain frequently appear due to complex pathophysiological changes and abuse of antibiotics.OBJECTIVE: To collect the clinical data of 6 cases who underwent liver transplantation, and analyze the prevention and treatment measures of pulmonary infection after liver transplantation.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Retrospective case analysis, performed in the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery,First People's Hospital of Guangzhou between January and December 2004.PARTICIPANTS: Six cases that underwent liver transplantation and received treatment in the First People's Hospital of Guangzhou were recruited in the present study. All 6 cases underwent selective homologous whole liver transplantation, 5cases underwent modified orthotopic piggyback liver transplantation, and only 1 underwent classical orthotopic liver transplantation.METHODS: The clinical data of the 6 cases were retrospectively analyzed. After transplantation, basic disinfection, isolation, infection-protection measures should be taken. In addition, etiological information was collected. Chest X-ray was underwent to know the lung at the early stage. Aseptic manipulating was strictly performed during sputum aspiration.Gastrointestinal decompression and non-obstructed drainage were maintained to prevent aspiration. Moreover, preventive anti-infective treatment against the bacteria, fungi, and viruses was performed.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Pulmonary infection and curative effects subsequent to liver transplantation.RESULTS: Of the 6 cases, 5 presented with pulmonary infection, including 1 at 4-11 days after transplantation and 1 at 1day after transplantation. One case died of respiratory failure. The remaining 5 cases were cured after standardized anti-infection, respiratory therapy, sputum aspiration, and nutritional support.CONCLUSION: Application of effective antibiotics, aseptic operation in sputum aspiration, and unobstructed respiratory tract drainage are important measures for treating pulmonary infection subsequent to liver transplantation.
2.Influence of group high intensity interval training and continuous aerobic exercise on the quality of life of college students
Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(5):680-683
Objective:
To explore the relationship between group high intensity interval training (HIIT) and continuous aerobic exercise with quality of life (QOL), and to provide a reference for scientific and reasonable sports guidance.
Methods:
Totally 61 college students were enrolled from Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology and randomly divided into group fitness course group (H Group, n=22), single aerobic exercise group (M group, n=19) and control group (C group, n=20). The exercise intervention experiment lasted for 14 weeks. Group H subjects participated in 30 minute group HIIT courses three times a week; group M subjects took 50 minute continuous aerobic exercise three times a week alone; group C subjects did not take regular physical activities. Before and after the experiment, the quality of life of the subjects was evaluated and compared.
Results:
After the experiment, the quality of life in H group and M group was significantly improved(t=12.12, 6.44, P<0.01). H group was significantly improved (t=11.37, 2.74, 5.48, P<0.01) in physiological, psychological, social and environmental fields; M group was significantly improved (t=7.05, 7.13, 2.35, P<0.05) in physiological, psychological and environmental fields. H group was significantly higher than M group (t=3.43, 3.46, 2.51, P<0.01) in the physiological, psychological and social relations fields. In contrast, there was no significant change before and after the control group.
Conclusion
Group high intensity interval training and continuous aerobic exercise can improve quality of life of college students, and group HIIT is more effective in enhancing physical, psychological, and social quality of life.

Objective:To understand the current status of social support for patients with oral cancer after surgery, and to explore the correlation between it and the anticipatory grief of the primary caregivers, so as to provide a reference for medical and nursing staff to take effective intervention. Methods:From December 2021 to April 2022, 160 patients with oral cancer and their main caregivers who were admitted to the Head and Neck Cancer Surgery of West China Hospital of Stomatology affiliated to Sichuan University were selected by convenience sampling. The subjects were investigated with the General Information Questionnaire, Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) and Anticipatory Grief Scale (AGS) . Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between the social support of patients with oral cancer after surgery and the anticipatory grief of their main caregivers. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of social support of patients with oral cancer after surgery. A total of 160 questionnaires were issued, 159 of which were valid, and the valid recovery rate was 99.4% (159/160) .Results:Among 159 patients with oral cancer after surgery, the total score of SSRS was (37.43±7.99) , and the average score of items was (3.74±0.80) . Among 159 primary caregivers, the total score of AGS was (70.60±15.90) , and the average score of items was (2.62±0.59) . Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total score of SSRS in oral cancer patients was negatively correlated with the total score of AGS in their primary caregivers ( P<0.01) . Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the primary caregivers' anticipatory grief of caregivers with oral cancer after surgery was the influencing factor of the patients social support ( P<0.05) , which could independently explain 11.2% of the variation ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:The social support of patients with oral cancer after surgery is at a medium and above level, and the anticipatory grief of their main caregivers is at a medium level. The anticipatory grief of caregivers with oral cancer after surgery is the influencing factor of social support of the patients. Clinical medical and nursing staff should pay more attention to the psychological state of patients and their main caregivers, improve the social support of patients.
