Objective To improve the degree of acquaintance of nursing of AIDS complicated with tu-berculosis(TB)and pencilliosis marneffei (PSM) through analysis of the clinical data of patients with these three diseases. Methods The clinical characteristics, treament and nursing care of 26 patients with AIDS compli-cated with TB and PSM were analyzed and summarized. Results 5 patients cured,13 patients turned better,8 cases died. The survival patients did not relapse after 6 to 30 months of follow- up. Conclusions The clinic presence of AIDS complicated with TB and PSM is complex and not specific, and the nursing care is difficult. We should monitor the state of illness carefully, make diagnosis and give treatment and meticulous nursing care as soon as possible to improve the prognosis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between the social disability and emotion disorder of the patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Methods168 patients with IBS were assessed with Social Disability Screening Schedule (SDSS), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. The patients with SDSS≥2 were divided into 2 groups, and accepted the medical routine therapy and explanatory psychotherapy for 2 months, while the patients in the research group (n=35) received the antidepressive. Then they were assessed with SDSS again. ResultsThe incidence of social disability in IBS patients was 40.5%, and increased in those who combined with anxiety and/or depression. The SDSS score of the research group was lower than that of the control group after the treatment. ConclusionThe social disability can be found in the patients of IBS, especially in those with emotion disorder, and can be improved by the antidepressive.

Objective: To establish microbiological method for determining biotin in foods and feeds. Methods: Using biotin dependent microorganisms Lactobacillus plantarum(ATCC 8014), the biotin content was detected indirectly by the growth of cultrued bacteria spectrophotometrically. Results: The detection limit was 0.03 ng. The relative standard deviations(RSD) of within and between run assays were 2.2%-3.8%,2.1%-5.3% respectively. The recovery of added biotin was 93.4%-104.6%, and RSD was 3.1%-4.1%. Conclusion: This assay is sufficiently accurate and repoducible for determining biotin in foods and feeds.

Objective: 1.To analyze the nutritional composition and evaluation of the nutritional value of Mortierella isabelina powder. 2.To investigate the effects of Mortierella isabelina powder on prevention and regulation of hyperlipidemia in rats. Methods: 1. Mycelium powder was analyzed for proteins, lipids polysaccharides, fibre, ash, vitamin E, amino acids, fatty acids and minerals. 2. Mycelium powder was used to feed rats in different dosages together with high lipid diet for 10 days. 3. Mycelium powder was used to feed hyperlipidemic rats in different dosages for 30 days. Results: (1) There were about 20% of proteins and more than 50% of lipids in the mycelium. Further examination found that the mycelium contained rich essential amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids. The mycelium also contained vitamin E and useful minerals such as K, Ca, P, Fe, Zn and Mn. (2) 0.6 or 1.2 g/(kg?d) dosage of mycelium powder could prevent the rise of serum lipids. (3) When the mycelium powder was used to feed hyperlipidemic rats, the serum cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL C and VLDL C of the rats could be reduced, meanwhile HDL C could be increased. Conclusion: The results indicated that Mortierella isabelina powder has potential nutritional value and can be used to regulate the blood lipids in hyperlipidemic rats.

Objective To detect 10 kinds of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOS) and compare their amounts during lactational stage. Methods Breast milk samples in different stages of lactation as colostrum (day 0-7 postpartum),transitional milk (day 8-15 postpartum),and mature milk (day 16-180 postpartum) were collected and 10 HMOS in those samples were detected and quantified by ultra high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection after fluorescence labeling by using standard curves.Correlations between HMOS and lactation day were conducted by Person correlation analysis method, while the differences among three stages were calculated by ANOVA test. Results Ten HMOS were successfully separated and quantified under chosen chromatographic parameters.2'FL,3'SL,6'SL,LNT,LNnT and LNFP-I were negatively correlated and 3'FL was positively correlated with lactation days. They were different in three lactational stages (P < 0.05),while P1,LNFP-V and LNnFP-V showed no correlation and difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion The amount of HMOS changed during lactational stages.Seven HMOS were correlated with lactation days and different in three lactational stages (P < 0.05).

Objective:
To investigate the efficacy and safety of the new investigational drug pegylated interferon α-2b (Peg-IFN-α-2b) (Y shape, 40 kD) injection (180 µg/week) combined with ribavirin in the treatment of patients with genotype 1/6 chronic hepatitis C (CHC), with standard-dose Peg-IFN-α-2a combined with ribavirin as a positive control.
Methods:
A multicenter, randomized, open-label, and positive-controlled phase III clinical trial was performed. Eligible patients with genotype 1/6 CHC were screened out and randomly divided into Peg-IFN-α-2b(Y shape, 40kD) group and Peg-IFN-α-2a group at a ratio of 2:1. The patients in both groups were given oral ribavirin for 48 weeks in addition and then followed up for 24 weeks after drug withdrawal. Abbott Real Time HCV Genotype II was used to determine HCV genotype, and Cobas TaqMan quantitative real-time PCR was used to measure HCV RNA level at 0, 4, 12, 24, 48, and 72 weeks. Adverse events were recorded in detail. The primary efficacy endpoint was sustained virological response (SVR), and a non-inferiority test was also performed.
Results:
A total of 561 patients with genotype 1/6 CHC were enrolled, among whom 529 received treatment; 90.9% of these patients had genotype 1 CHC. The data of the full analysis set showed that SVR rate was 69.80% (95%
