Objective To understand the status and influencing factors of benefit finding in patients with cancer.Methods 350 patients with cancer were collected with convenience sampling method from two Jiangsu hospitals.All patients received a questionnaire survey.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of benefit finding in patients with cancer.Results (1) The score of benefit finding in patients with cancer was statistically significant in different frequency of physical exercise (F=8.37,P=0.00),different character (F=3.04,P=0.04) and different educational level (F=2.91,P=0.03).(2) There was a positive correlation between benefit finding(78.53± 10.50) and communication with physicians(7.27±2.19),medical coping(43.48±4.50),optimism(17.33±2.24) and social support(44.81±3.91)(r=0.31,0.35,0.29,0.23,all P＜0.05) in patients with cancer.The benefit finding in patients with cancer was negatively correlated with depression(8.59± 1.83) (r=-0.37,P＜0.05).(3) Multiple linear regression analysis results showed that medical coping modes-confrontation,objectively social support and utilization,physical exercise,depression,communication with physicians and character were the factors influencing benefit finding in patients with cancer(△R2 =28％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =5.5％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =3.1％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =1.9％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.7％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.0％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.1％ P＜0.05),which explained 42.0％ of the total variance.Conclusion Medical coping modes-confrontation,objectively social support and utilization,physical exercise,depression,communication with physicians and character are the factors influencing benefit finding in patients with cancer.

Objective To investigate the impact of transtheoretical model-based depression management on senile people with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 78 senile patients with type 2 diabetes were recruited from the Affiliated Jiangyin Hospital of Southeast University Medical College and the Nantong Tumor Hospital during the period from September 2015 to December 2016.They were randomly divided into the experimental(n=39)and the control groups(n=39).The patients in the experimental group received transtheoretical model-based depression management while those in the control group received traditional health education. The intervention results were evaluated using Demographic Data Recording Form, Self-Rating Depression Scale, and Depression Prevention & Management Survey Items. The main statistical methods included Chi square test,independent sample t test,Mann-Whitney U test,and repeated measures analysis of variance. Results After the intervention of three months, the mean scores of Self-Rating Depression Scale was 50.97 (F=17.814), perceived benefit score was (9.59 ± 2.10) (t=-6.732), perceived barriers score was (5.59 ± 1.30) (t=2.980), cognitive level score was (32.98 ± 4.87) (t=-10.189), the behavior level score was (34.32 ± 5.02) (t=-13.745), and the self-efficacy score was (12.11 ± 2.13)(t=-7.845),all of which significantly improved in the experimental group,more than the control group with its perceived benefit score of(8.31 ± 1.12)(F=32.789),perceived barriers score of(6.99 ± 2.12)(F=18.788), cognitive level score of (29.01 ± 3.34) (F=67.876), behavior level score of (28.03 ± 4.77) (F=43.476), and self-efficacy score of(9.78 ± 2.03)(F=15.543),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The level of FPG in experimental group was(7.24 ± 1.36)mmol/L,which was significantly lower than the FPG of (7.41 ± 1.34)mmol/L in the control group(t=0.624,P=0.028).Conclusions Transtheoretical model-based depression management can effectively improve senile type 2 diabetes'management of depression,which is valuable in the clinical context.

Objective To investigate the effects of predictive nursing intervention on acute myocardial infarction ( AMI ) patients undergoing temporary preventive cardiac pace maker .Methods A total of 130 patients with AMI undergoing emergency percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI) were enrolled by convenience sampling method and divided into control group (n=65) and observation group(n=65) according to the time of admittion.All patients were received temporary preventive cardiac pace maker before PCI .Routine nursing was applied in patients of the control group , and predictive nursing was applied in patients of the observation group . Malignant arrhythmia , hypotension and serious complications were recorded and analyzed .Results In both groups, the right coronary artery was the main artery of the infarction , accounting for 80.00%(control group, 52/65), 76.92%(observation group, 50/65) respectively, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Malignant arrhythmia rate in the observation group tended to decrease compared with that of the control group (7.69% vs 18.46%), but there′s no statistically significant difference ( P =0.069 ).Malignant arrhythmia rate of right coronary artery infarction in the observation group was lower than that of the control group (6.00%vs 21.15%) ( P =0.026 ).12.31% of observation group patients developed hypotension versus 26.15% in the control group ( P =0.045 ).Predictive nursing intervention had a tendency to reduce complications occurrence compared with routine nursing intervention (10.77%vs 20.00%), but no statistical significance was achieved(P=0.145).Conclusions Implementation of predictive nursing intervention among AMI patients undergoing temporary preventive cardiac pace maker plays an important role in reducing the risks of malignant arrhythmia and hypotension , which has certain meaning for the clinical nursing .

Objective To suevey the family nursing knowledge′s recognition and demand status in parents of children with developmental dislocation of the hip (DDH), and provide advices for clinic, so as to give targeted nursing support for parents. Methods Using self design questionnaire, a total of 49 parents whose children had close reduction of hip joint and human position plaster fixation from August 2012 to April 2013 in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, were selected to investigate the recognition and demand of family nursing knowledge. Results The total cognitive score of parents to family nursing knowledge was (21. 12 ± 5. 95) and total demand score was (36. 26 ± 2. 94). Different educational background, occupation, place of residence and discharged time, parents had different cognition of family nursing knowledge (P<0. 05); low education level, physical labor, and non-urban parents had lower cognition. And non-urban parents had lower demand ( P <0. 05). Conclusions In current clinical practice, we should strengthen family nursing and knowledge propaganda, especially the families′ cognition and demand of low educational background, worker and farmer and so on manual workers, and non-urban parents, at the same time we should pay attention on the training of parents having children discharged for 0-3 months.

Objective To explore the forensic pathological characteristics and the main identification points of fatal cardiac tamponade. Methods 38 cases of fatal cardiac tamponade from department of pathology, the first affiliated hospital of chengdu university of TCM from 2005 to 2015 were reviewed and analyzed retrospectively. Results Fatal cardiac tamponade mostly occurred to men (71.1%) with an average age of 44; Bloody effusion accounted for 85% of the direct causes of death (34 cases). The most underlying causes of death were diseases (73.7%), majorly aortic dissection, coronary heart disease and malignant tumors. Seventy five percent of death occurred within 12 hours of illness. Medical behaviors were involved in 30 cases (78.9%), of which 26 cases (86.7%)were without medical malpractice. The relationship between injury and disease was involved in 15 fatal cases (39.5%). Conclusion The basic requirement for accurately completing forensic medical appraisal of fatal cardiac tamponade cases was to master the forensic pathological characteristics and the path of forensic identification.

Objective To explore the effects of "3+1+1" talent cultivation model on key competency in five-year higher vocational nursing students. Methods In March 2015, we selected five-year 80 higher vocational nursing students majoring in clinical nursing in 2013 of Wuxi Higher Health Vocational Technology School as subjects by convenience sampling. All of the 80 nursing students were divided into experimental group (n=38) and control group (n=42) according to classes. Nursing students of experimental group received the "3+1+1" talent cultivation model. Nursing students of control group were treated with the "4+1" cultivation model. The evaluation index system for key competency of five-year higher vocational nursing students was used to evaluated nursing students of two groups. We also compared the theoretical achievement and skills performance of nursing students between two groups. Results There were no statistical difference in key competency of nursing students between two groups at the end of the 2.5th school year (P＞0.05). The score of key competency of nursing students in experimental group was higher than that in control group at the end of the fourth school year with a significant difference (P＜ 0.05). There were no statistical differences in theoretical achievement and skills performance of nursing students between two groups at the end of the 2.5th school year (P＞0.05). The theoretical achievement and skills performance of nursing students in experimental group were higher than that in control group at the end of the fourth school year with significant differences (P＜ 0.05). Conclusions The "3+1+1" talent cultivation model can improve nursing students' key competency and school achievement.
