Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(3):283-286
Professor LAI Xinsheng's treatment experience of infertility mainly by Tongyuan needling technique for both females and males is summarized. Tongyuan needling technique is a treatment method of leading qi to its primordial location mainly through viscera back-shu points that can dredge the governor vessel and tonify the spirit and conception vessel points in abdomen and abdominal front-mu points, and according to state of illness acupoints for opening the 4 gates or five shu points are combined; reinforcing and reducing manipulations of acupuncture are applied for reference. With the method of listing cases, professor LAI Xinsheng's Tongyuan needling technique is detailedly introduced in different aspects, such as the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome infertility and male infertility and improving the success rate of test-tube baby, and the manipulation of Tongyuan needling technique is summarized, indicating that Tongyuan needling technique is worth vigorously prompting in clinical treatment of infertility.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(24):23-24
Objective To investigate the effect of cognitive behavioral intervention on depression state and compliance of senile patients with cerebral apoplexy. Methods 46 senile patients with cerebral apoplexy were divided into the intervention group(22 cases)and the control group(24 cases). The control group was given conventional treatment and nursing, based onthe above methods, cognitive behavioral intervention was added to the intervention group,6 weeks were taken as one treatment course.Using self-rating depression scale(SDS) and self-made compliance questionnaire to evaluate the depression and compliance before and after 6 weeks of treatment. Results The SDS score was obviously lower, the treatment compliance was better in the intervention group after 6 weeks compared with the control group. Conclusions The cognition behavioral intervention is helpful to improve the depression of senile patients with cerebral apoplexy, enhance the treatment compliance and improve patients' quality of life.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The projection of the optic nerve to the visual centers of the frog was studied by means of autoradiographic and terminal degenerating method. The results obtained from the two methods were essentially identical in the distribution of the optic term inals in the lateral geniculate body and the pretectum neuropile contralateral to the [~3H]-leucine injected or enucleated eye. There are also some differences:1. In autoradiographic cross sections at certain level of diencephalon, the Bellonci nucleus contralateral to injected eye has a circular outline. It is filled with the optic terminals. Within the Bellonci nucleus and the lateral geniculate body ipsilateral to the injected eye, the distribution of the optic terminals is clear. The Bellonci nucleus contralateral to enucleated eye, revealed by degenerating technique, has a circular outline too, but the optic terminals mainly concentrate on the peripheral of the nucleus. In the central area of the nucleus there are only few degenerating optic terminals. And the Bellonci nucleus and the lateral geniculate body ipsilateral to enucleated eye have only few degenerating optic terminals. The outlines of the two nuclei can hardly be recognized.2. The optic terminals of the superficial layers of the tectum contralateral to injected eye appear to have random distribution revealed by autoradiographic method, while in the sections of the preparation with degenerating method, the optic terminals have a laminar distribution which is very similar to that obtained with modified Cajal's method.3. The appearance of the midbrain tegmental nucleus revealed by autoradiographic method was much clearer than that revealed by degenerating methodIn addition, it has been observed that the number and distribution of degenerating terminals varied with the animal's survival time after the operation. The causes which bring about the differences, the advantages and disadvantages of the two techniques were discussed.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Parts of the left tecta of the frogs were removed in one group. In another group, the left optic nerves of the frogs were cut through the mouth. The first group of animals survived for 12~26days and the second group 11~22 days. Both right and left retinas (with a small piece of optic nerve attached) were sectioned radially at 25?m on a freezing microtome and stained by Ebbesson-Heimer's method which allow degenerating fibers and terminals stained specially. We did not find any evidences showing degeneration. We concluded that centrifugal fibers coming from the centers to the retinas were absent in the frog.

Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1999;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the microcosmic pathologic mechanism of ac upoint application for asthma. Methods Sixty guinea pigs were randomly alloca ted to three groups: Group A (model control), Group B (guinea pig model treated with acupoint application) and Group C (normal control). Group B was treated wit h the application of herbal medicines on the acupoints located at neck and back. Results From the 6th day of treatment, incubation period of nodding breath was prolonged in Group B as compared with Group A (P

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(11):-
209 cases of allergic asthma were randomly divided into two groups, which received respectively traditional medicinal vesiculation and drug application based on syndrome differentiation, and their short - term and long - term therapeutic effects were investigated and compared, and the relation between the clinical therapeutic effects of the two application therapies and classification of TCM syndrome differentiation was further analysed. Results show that the total effective rate of the short -term of drug application based on syndrome differentiation is higher than that of medicinal vesiculation, and the clinical thertapeutic effect is closely related to classification of syndrome differentiation, the therapeutic effect of the short -term is the highest for lung -heat type and the worst for Yang-deficiency of kidney.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2005;11(8):665-666
ObjectiveTo investigate the tossing and turning time of the stuporous patients while using the bedsore mat blowing out gas.Methods45 cases were as the control group and treated with routine nursing. 117 cases were as the test group, in them, 17 cases were tossed and turned once every 2 hours, 50 cases tossed and turned once every 4 hours and 50 cases tossed and turned once every 6 hours. The patients of the test group were nursed with the bedsore mat blowing out gas as well as routine nursing. The rates of bedsore of two groups were compared.ResultsThe bedsore rate of the control group was 4.44%, 2 hours group was 0%, 4 hours group was 4% and 6 hours group was 22%; there was no significant difference among the control group, 2 hours group and 4 hours group, but there was a significant difference between 2 hours group, 4 hours group and 6 hours group (P<0.01).Conclusion4 hours is suitable for the stuporous patients to toss and turn while using the bedsore mat blowing out gas.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
HRP solution (33%) was injected into the left superior colliculus of 21 adult albino rats. 1-2 days after injection, the animal was sacrificed. Brains were frozen sectioned and processed according to. DAB- or TMB-method. The labeled neurones were examined in the right superior colliculus and other areas of the brain. The resu ts are as follows:1. No matter where the HRP was injected (either in the rostral or caudal part of the superior colliculus or thepart between them) HRP labeled neurones were always observed on the opposite superior colliculus if the injection sites reached layers deeper than the stratum oPticum. The locations of the labeled neurones corresponded roughly to the sites of HRP injections. However, no HRP labeled neurones were observed when the core of HRP deposites was restricted to layers superficial to the stratum griseum intermediale.2. Of all labeled neurones, 53.6% were located in the stratum griseum intermediale, 16.5% in the stratum opticum. The rest were in deeper layers. In no case were HRP labeled neurones observed in the stratum zonale or stratum griseum superficiale.3. Labeled neurones could be classified morphologically into vertical fusiform, horizontal fusiform and multipolar neurones.4. In addition to the visual cortex, labeled neurones were also found in the inferior colliculi, paralemniscal nuclei, dorsal nuclei of the lateral lemniscus, substantia nigrae and lateral tegmental nuclei bilaterally. Labeled neurones were also found in the ipsilateral ventral nucleus of the lateral geniculate body, contralatera pretectal area and reticular formation.
