Objective To explore influencing factors of the individual entrepreneurship from as-pects of entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurial cognition and entrepreneurship education. Methods Questionnaire of entrepreneurial cognition was conducted for 1860 students in Southern Medical Universi-ty. SPSS was used to analyze the data. Results ①Entrepreneurship intention among university students were strong.②There was a lack of awareness of college students entrepreneurship policy among college students. ③Students never receiving entrepreneurship education accounted for 65%, but 89%students held that entrepreneurial education courses was necessary. Conclusions Due to arduous professional tasks, medical students have compelling and demanding need for personalized entrepreneurship educa-tion. Initiative participation of library in integrating of entrepreneurship education information by using advantageous resources plays a important role in entrepreneurship education.

Molecularly imprinted electrochemiluminescence method combines the advantageous properties of molecularly imprinted polymer and electrochemiluminescence, such as high sensitivity, good selectivity, good controllability, easy miniaturization and simple operation. In recent years, molecularly imprinted electrochemiluminescence has received much attention in the fields of biomimetic sensors, hazardous pesticide residue detection, and food safety monitoring, etc. In this review, the research progresses of molecularly imprinting electrochemiluminescence sensors and the applications of molecularly imprinted polymers as solid phase extraction matrices in electrochemiluminescence analysis have been summarized, and the future research trends have been proposed.

Objective: To observe the safety and efifcacy of excimer laser coronary atherectomy (ELCA) for treating the patients with coronary chronic total occlusion (CTO). Methods: A total of 3 coronary CTO patients treated by ELCA in our hospital from 2015-01 to 2016-11 were analyzed. The patients received guide steel wire gone through occlusion segment under the guidance of offside coronary angiography; drug-eluting stent implantation was conducted after ELCA treatment. The operative success rate with complication was observed and the occurrence of MACE was followed-up. Results: The device performing and interventional therapy were succeed in all 3 patients. No coronary dissection, perforation, slow relfow and thrombosis were occurred during the operation; no angina, myocardial infarction, target vessel revascularization and death were observed by follow-up study. Conclusion: Application of ELCA combining drug-eluting stent implantation was safe and effective for treating the patients with coronary CTO.

Objective: To explore the impact of body mass index (BMI) on long-term prognosis in patients of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 1435 consecutive STEMI patients received PCI in our hospital from 2013-01 to 2013-12 were enrolled. Based BMI (kg/m2), the patients were divided into 3 groups: Normal weight group, the patients with 18.5≤BMI<24.0, n=365, Overweight group, 24.0≤BMI<28.0, n=718 and Obese group, BMI≥28.0, n=352. The impact of BMI on major adverse cardiovascular and cerebral events (MACCE) was observed; weather BMI had predictive value for all-cause mortality and cardiac death was analyzed. Results: All-cause mortality in Obese group was lower than Normal weight group (0.6% vs 3.0%), P=0.027; while the incidences of bleeding, stroke, in-stent thrombosis, blood revascularization, re-myocardial infarction and cardiac death were similar among 3 groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that obesity was an independent predictor for all-cause death (HR=0.201, 95% CI 0.043-0.943, P=0.042), BMI was not the independent predictor for cardiac death. Conclusion: For STEMI patients after PCI treatment, the individuals with obesity had the better prognosis than those with normal weight and overweight. Obesity was an independent predictor for all-cause death and obesity paradox was applicable in such population.

Objective To evaluate the safety and clinical efficacy of renal artery stent treatment for severe atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis (ARAS) in the elderly. Methods In a prospective nonrandomized study in our hospital from January 2003 to April 2008, 147 consecutive elderly patients with ARAS (diameter reduction ≥ 65％) underwent percutaneous transluminal renal angioplasty and stenting (PTRAS) for resistant hypertension or reserving renal function. They were followed up for 6- 66 months and the effects of the procedure on renal function, blood pressure and cardiovascular events were observed. Results The success rate of PTRAS was 100％. During 6-66 months of follow up, both systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly decreased, and less antihypertensive medication was taken (P<0.01). Serum creatinine was significantly decreased during 6-48 months of follow up (P<0. 05) and did not change significantly during 54-66 months of follow up (P>0. 05). Blood urea nitrogen was significantly decreased during 6-24 months of follow up (P<0.05) and did not change significantly during 30-66 months of follow up (P>0.05). Complications related with the procedure occurred in 7 cases (4.8％). 17 patients failed to follow up (11.6％) and in 18 cases cardiovascular events occurred (12.2％), including 4 cases of renal events (2. 7％), 4 cases of myocardial infarction (2.7％), 2 cases of stroke (1.4％) and 8 cases of cerebral and cardiovascular events (5.4％) during 6-66 months of follow up. The survival rates of free-of-events at year 1, 2, 3, 4 and5 were 91.0%(121/133), 90.2%(83/92), 78.5%(51/65), 73.8%(31/42) and 54.8%(17/ 31), respectively. The survival rates at year 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 were 94.0% (125/133), 90. 2% (83/ 92), 84.6%(55/65), 73. 8%(31/42) and 61.3%(19/31), respectively. Conclusions Renal artery stent as treatment for ARAS in the elderly has a beneficial effect on blood pressure control and on renal function during middle and long term follow up. The treatment may be helpful in reduction of cardiovascular events and mortality, which should be investigated further.

Objective To compare the long-term effect of three different drng-eluting stents (DES) for in-stent restenotic lesions. Methods From April 2004 to June 2006, 390 consecutive patients undergoing DES implantation including 187 Cypher (group C), 89 Taxus (group T) and 114 Firebird (group F) with resulting in-stent restenotic lesions were studied. A mean of 2 year clinical and 7-month angiographic follow-up was carried out. Results Baseline characteristics indicated that there were more unstable angina cases in T group and less left main disease and more triple vessel disease cases in F group. A mean of 2-year follow-up results showed no difference of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) rate among the three groups (23.0% vs 22.5% vs 13.2% , P = 0. 081) and no difference of cardiac death, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI) and target vessel revascularization rate(1.1% vs 4. 5% vs 1.8% , P = 0. 210, 5.9% vs 2. 2% vs 2. 6% ,P =0. 226 and 2. 9% vs 2. 2% vs 0. 9% , P =0. 509). There was no difference of total stent thrombosis or its components among the three groups (total: 4. 8% vs 3.4% vs 2. 6%, P=0. 605, early: 0. 5% vs 0 vs 0. 9% ,P =0. 560, late: 1.6% vs 1.1% vs 0. 9% ,P =0. 849 and very late: 2. 9% vs 2. 2% vs 0. 9% , P =0. 509) according to Academic Research Consortium (ARC) standard definitions (definite + probable). 7-month angiographic follow-up indicated that there was a lower trend of both in-stent and in-segment trestenosis rate in C and F groups (17.9% vs 29. 4% vs 13.6% ,P = 0. 214 and 21.8% vs 35.3% vs 15.9%, P =0. 132) and in-stent and in-segment late loss was significantly smaller inCand F groups [(0.31±0.12) mm vs(0.75±0.24) mm vs(0.31±0.13) mm, P=0.000 and (0.33±0.18)mm vs (0.61±0.23)mm vs (0.31±0.14)mm, P=0.001]. Conclusions Results from this 2-year follow-up, single-center study showed comparable effectiveness and safety of Cypher, Taxus and Firebird DES for in-stent restnotic lesions, but Cypher and Firebird had better effect in reducing restenosis.

Objective: To study the aortic root imaging and clinical application in 15 patients with transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
Methods: A total of 15 patients with severe aortic valve stenosis received TAVI in our hospital from 2011-03 to 2013-11 were studied. The CT scan and transthoracic echocardiography were conducted to measure the aortic root anatomy and the differences of annulus size between CT and echocardiography were calculated. The prosthetic valves were selected based on CT measurement. The pre-operative accuracy of measurement was evaluated by the follow-up study at 6 months after operation.
Results: The CT measured pre-operative aortic annulus short diameter was (21.5 ± 2.4) mm, long diameter was (27.3 ± 2.7) mm, the average inner diameter was (24.4 ± 2.4) mm, left ventricular out lfow (LVOF) tract long diameter was (28.3 ± 4.5) mm, the average inner diameter of LVOF was (24 ± 3.5), ascending aorta diameter was (35.3 ± 4.4) mm. The Venus Medtech A-Valve implanted in 8 patients with #26 and in 7 patients with #29. The average inner diameter of aortic annulus measured by CT was larger than transthoracic echocardiography, P<0.001. During 6 months follow-up period, no patients had aortic root rupture, coronary obstruction, moderate and severer aortic and peri-aortic regurgitation. There were 4 patients with atrio-ventricular block and received permanent pacemaker implantation.
Conclusion: There is a difference for aortic annulus size by CT and transthoracic echocardiography measurements. CT may presisely assess the aortic root morphology and provide strong support for TAVI.

OBJECTIVETo apply the classic leakage integrate-and-fire models, based on the mechanism of the generation of physiological auditory stimulation, in the information processing coding of cochlear implants to improve the auditory result.

METHODSThe results of algorithm simulation in digital signal processor (DSP) were imported into Matlab for a comparative analysis.

RESULTSCompared with CIS coding, the algorithm of membrane potential integrate-and-fire (MPIF) allowed more natural pulse discharge in a pseudo-random manner to better fit the physiological structures.

CONCLUSIONThe MPIF algorithm can effectively solve the problem of the dynamic structure of the delivered auditory information sequence issued in the auditory center and allowed integration of the stimulating pulses and time coding to ensure the coherence and relevance of the stimulating pulse time.

Objective:To investigate reperfusion and secondary preventive drug therapy for ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients in provincial, city and county levels hospitals of China.
Methods:A total of 18,967 STEMI patients within 7 days of symptom onset from 2013-01-01 to 2014-09-30 were enrolled by China acute myocardial infarction (CAMI) registry study group from 107 hospitals covering 31 provinces/autonomous regions, cities and counties in China;223 patients were excluded for key information missing. Demographic data, reperfusion as primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI), thrombolytic therapy (TT) and secondary preventive drug therapy as aspirin, P2Y12 inhibitors, statins,β-blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI)/angiotensin receptor antagonist (ARB) were analyzed and compared among 3 levels of hospitals.
Results:There were 9,885/18,744 (52.7%) patients received reperfusion including 8,038 (42.9%) pPCI and 1,847 (9.9%) TT. Reperfusion rate in provincial hospital (61.8%, 4041/6537) was higher than city hospital (49.1%, 4728/9625) and county hospital (43.2%, 1116/2582), P<0.001;reperfusion type was distinctive among 3 levels of hospitals, for provincial hospital:pPCI was performed in 3,840 (58.7%), TT in 201(3.07%) patients;for city hospital:pPCI in 3,753 (39.0%), TT in 975 (10.1%) patients;for county hospital:pPCI in 445 (17.2%), TT in 671 (26.0%) patients. 12,502 patients arrived hospital within 12 h of symptom onset and 8,835 (70.8%) of them received reperfusion including 7089 (56.7%) patients with pPCI and 1,746 (14.1%) with TT. 3537 (80%) patients received reperfusion in provincial hospital, 4272 (67.5%) in city hospital and 1045 (59.8%) in county hospital, P<0.001.The in-hospital application of statins was in 16,575 (90.9%) patients, aspirin was 17,963 (96.8%), P2Y12 inhibitors was 17,922 (96.5%),β-blockers was 12,657 (68.2%) and ACEI/ARB was 10,541 (56.8%) respectively;the therapeutic condition was similar among 3 levels of hospitals.
Conclusion:In CAMI Registry, 70.8%arrived hospital within12 h of symptom onset had been treated by reperfusion therapy in China; the reperfusion rate in county hospital was obviously lower. The secondary preventive drug therapy condition was similar among 3 levels of hospitals.

Objective: To make long-term comparison of drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation betweenleft internal mammary artery (LIMA) graft and native vessel in patients with previous coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
Methods: A total of 151 patients with anterior wall ischemia because of previous CABG induced LIMA graft lesion who received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in our hospital from 2004-07 to 2012-12 were retrospectively studied. The clinical, coronaryangiography (CAG) and follow-up conditions for DES implantation were analyzed;according to the target vessel, the patients were divided into 2 groups:LIMA group, n=40 and Native vessel (NV) group, which meant all segments of left main to left anterior descending arteries, n=111. Primary end points included target lesion revascularization (TLR), target lesion failure (TLF) as cardiac death, target vessel related non-fatal MI with the composition of TLR and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE).
Results:The median follow-up time was 30 (10-100) months. The rates of TLR and TLF were similar between 2 groups:(15.0%vs 11.7%, log-rank P=0.65) and (17.5%vs 13.5%, log-rank P=0.63). MACE occurrence in LIMA group was higher than NV group (35.0%vs 18.0%, log-rank P=0.043) which was mainly presented by new non-target vessel revascularization as right coronary artery, left circumlfex and saphenous vein graft(17.5%vs 4.5%, log-rank P=0.014). Cox multivariate analysis indicated that target lesion stent length was the only independent predictor for both TLR (HR=1.03, 95%CI1.00-1.06, P=0.01) and TLF (HR=1.03, 95%CI1.00-1.05, P=0.02);whereas, LIMA-PCI was the only independent predictor for MACE occurrence (HR=3.09, 95%CI1.28-7.60, P=0.012).
Conclusion: The chances of TLR and TLF were similar inpatients with previous CABG by either LIMA or NV, while MACE occurrence was higher in LIMA patients which should be further investigated.
