Objective To investigate influence of ureaplasma urealyticum(UU)infection on low genital tract during the pregnancy.The ureaplasma urealyticum was detected by the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) in women vaginal discharge. The patients were divided into infection group and control group.Results 624(25 68%) in 2430 cases of vaginal discharge had ureaplasma urealyticum infection. Infection rates of ureaplasma urealyticum was 24 53% in second trimester and 28 86% in third trimester respectively.184 cases (32 05%) of the premature rupture of membranes in infected group were significantly higher than 20 cases(22%) in control group. Objective To investigate the method of reducing the formation of fibrous capsule by means of changing the surface capacility of silicone breast implants. Methods N vinyl pyrrolidone ( N VP),the hydrophilic monomer, was grafted onto the surface of silicone breast implants by 60 C oradiation. 10 rabbits were used in this study and the implants were buried in the bilateral subcutaneous layers of the back of rabbits. The unchanged implants were used as the control group. At various interval, gross and microscopic examinations were made to observe the fiber capsule formation around the implants.Results Compared with the control group, the grafting implants induced slight histological reaction and the thickness of fiber capsule was decreased statistically in every time point ( P

Objective To evaluate the importance of serum thyroid hormonens level of patients with stable coronary heart disease(CAD)in different glucose metablic statuses.Methods 173 cases of CAD patients in different glucose metablic statuses and 58 cases of healthy people were enrolled in the study.The levels of thyroid hormonens and serum insulin was measured by electro-chemiluminescence,and the evaluation of glucose metablic statuses and insulin resistance index was by means of 75 g oral glucose tolerance test.Results There was no significant difference in the levels of systolic pressure(SBP),diastolic pressure(DBP),insulin resistence index and serum thyroid hormonens among CAD patients with different glucose metablic statuses(P >0.05).The levels of fasting plasma glucose,2 hour postprandial plasma glucose(PG2h)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in CAD complicated with type 2 diabetes group were significantly higher than those in CAD complicated with impaired glucose tolerance group and CAD complicated with normal glucose tolerance group (P < 0.05 ).And the PG2h level of CAD complicated with impaired glucose tolerance group was significantly higher than both of CAD complicated with normal glucose tolerance group and normal control group s(P <0.05).Conclusion It indicates that serum thyroid hormonens level may not affect glycometabolism in CAD patients.

Objective To assess the diagnostic value of transient elastography (TE) for the staging of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis in patients with chronic hepatitis C.Methods Systematic and comprehensive literatures related to diagnosis value of TE for chronic hepatitis C were searched in FMJS biomedical database (from Jan.1st,2003 to Aug.31st,2013).Full texts were obtained from PubMed,EBSCO,Elsevier Science,Ovid,Wiley database.The quality of the studies was rated with quality assessment of diagnostic accuracy studies (QUADAS).The accuracy of TE in diagnosing liver fibrosis and cirrhosis were assessed by Stata software bivariate mixed effects model.Results Twenty seven eligible studies which included 5 937 subjects were enrolled.The meta-analysis of fitting the bivariate mixed effects model showed that the pooled sensitivity,specificity,positive likelihood ratio,negative likelihood ratio,diagnostic odds ratio,and the area under curve (AUC) of summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) for liver fibrosis were 0.75(95％CI:0.70-0.80),0.84(95％CI:0.78-0.88),4.70(95％CI:3.60-6.20),0.29(95％CI:0.24-0.36),16.00(95％CI:12.00-22.00) and 0.86(95％CI:0.83-0.89),respectively.And those for cirrhosis were 0.86(95％CI:0.82-0.89),0.89(95％CI:0.86-0.92),8.10(95％CI:6.30-10.40),0.16(95％CI:0.12-0.20),51.00(95％CI:35.00-76.00) and 0.94(95％CI:0.91-0.96),respectively.Conclusions TE shows better diagnostic accuracy for cirrhosis than for significant fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis C.More high quality trials are required to further confirm this finding.

Objective To compare the validity of general movements ( GM ) assessment with that of a 52 item neurological motor examination in predicting cerebral palsy among high risk neonates.Methods Eighty-four infants aged 12 months at high risk were evaluated simultaneously with GM assessment and the 52 item neurological motor examination.The utility of the two methods in predicting cerebral palsy was then compared.Results There were 4 cerebral palsy patients among the 84 high risk neonates.The GM assessment's predictive validity for Monotonous movements was 78.57％,its sensitivity was 25％,its specificity was 81.25％,its positive predictive value was 6.25％,its negative predictive value was 95.59％,and its kappa value was 0.215.The comparable values for the Cramped-synchronised scale were validity 96.43％,sensitivity 50％,specificity 98.75％,positive predictive value 66.67％,negative predictive value 97.53％,and kappa value O.553.The values for the absence of Fidgety movements were validity 98.81％,sensitivity 75％,specificity 100％,positive predictive value 100％,negative predictive value 98.77％,and kappa value 0.851.For the entire 52 items of the neurological motor examination the corresponding values were validity 51.19％,sensitivity 100％,specificity 48.75％,positive predictive value 8.89％,negative predictive value 100％,and kappa value 0.083.Conclusions GM assessment can predict the severe neurological deficits of cerebral palsy among high risk neonates by the age of 12 months.The 52-item neurological motor examination can detect mild and moderate neurological deficits.GM assessment combined with the 52-item neurological motor examination is a desirable and effective way to assess high risk infants.

Objective To compare the differences of personality in patients with depression between Uighurs and Han Chinese.Method Hospitalized depressed patients were selected including 44 cases of Uygur people,73 cases of Han people and Han people with normal control 41 cases.Using Minnesota Multiphasic Per-sonality Inventory(MMPI), Eysenck Personality Questionnai(EPQ) and Cattell's 16 Personality Factor (16PF) to make the survey.Results In MMPI : Uighur depression group's factors F,Hs, D,Hy,Pt,Pa and Sc's T score were all higher than 70,and Han depression group' s factors Hs, D,Hy,and T score of Pa were all higher than 70.Only F (76.98±16.01 vs 67.16±13.51, P＜0.01), Pt(72.09± 14.22 vs 66.82± 11.12, P＜0.05) and Sc (73.43± 13.02 vs 68.62± 11.14, P＜0.05) had statistically significant differences between the two groups.Comparing Han depression group with Han normal control group,only Pd score was not significantly different,the other nine scales were statistically significant (P＜0.01).In EPQ: comparing Uighur depression group with Han depression group,the 4 kinds of scale (extroversion, psychoticism, neuroticism and conceal) differences were not statistically significant (P＞0.05).And Han depression group compared with the Han control group, four scales were statistically significant differences (P＜0.01).In 16 PF: comparing Uighur depression group with Han depression group, only the wisdom of B (P＜0.01) and the independence of the Q2 (P＜0.05) between the two groups were statistically siguificant,other personality dimensions had no significant difference (P＞0.05).Comparing Han depression group with Han normal control group, the factors of gregariousness A, stability C, excitability D,perseverance G, boldness H, sensitivity I,skeptical L,anxiety and O,self-discipline Q3,tension Q4 (P＜0.0l) and experimental Q 1 (P＜0.05) differences were statistically significant, and the factors of Wisdom of B, aggressiveness E, fantasy M, sophisticated sex N, independence Q2 were not statistically significant (P＞0.05).Conclusion The personality model of depression between the Uygur and Han nationality has the consistency of national culture,and differences with normal people.Prompt Uygur and han depression may have a common characteristic of pathological personality model.Uighur and han ethnic differences in national culture and personality is the character of diversity,is not a Uighur and Han the pathological basis of personality of depression.

Objective To evaluate the application effect of‘incorrect cases’in medical statis-tics teaching. Methods The junior students (n=307)of clinical medicine were selected as research subjects by random cluster sampling. They were divided into the teaching improving group (n=151) who accepted case teaching and control group (n=156)who accepted traditional teaching. At the end of the term,the teaching effect was surveyed by questionnaires and compared between the two groups. Measurement data was analyzed by t test,enumeration data by χ2 test and ranked data by rank sum test. Results Students' interests of medical statistics and understanding the importance of the course in teaching improving group were significantly higher than that in control group (Z=-2.375,P=0.018;Z=-2.971,P=0.003). The proportion of students with learning difficulties in teaching improving group was obviously lower than that in control group (Z=-2.488,P=0.013). The satisfaction with theory and practical teaching in teaching improving group (84.10% and 88.74%,respectively)was significantly higher that in control group (73.08%and 71.79%,respectively)(χ2=5.530,P=0.013;χ2=13.841,P<0.001). Although no difference was observed in the test score between the two groups (t=1.230,P=0.220),knowledge of parameter estimation,hypothesis testing and science research design in teach-ing improving group was significantly higher than that in control group (χ2=6.829,P=0.009;χ2=5.835, P=0.016). Conclusions Application of ‘incorrect cases’in medical statistics teaching could arouse students' learning interests and improve clinical medical students' comprehensive analy sis ability of medical statistics.

Objective To study the effects of rehabilitation training on the expression of Nogo-A around the area of cerebral infraction using rats. Methods A total of 60 Wistar rats were randomly divided into a reha- bilitation group and a control group after an experimental cerebral infarction had been established in them. The ani- mals in the rehabilitation group were given exercise with a rotating bar, a balance beam and a rolling cage for one hour daily, while those in the control group were caged without any abnormal exercise. Nogo-A expression in the ar- ea surrounding the infarcts was detected by imunohistochemical techniques at the 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day after infarction. Meanwhile, neurobehavioral evaluations were also conducted. Results The animals in the rehabilitation group scored much lower than the controls in the behavioral evaluations at the 14th, 21st and 28th day. The expression of Nogo-A in tissues around the infracted area increased by the 7th day and peaked at the 21st day in both groups, but the expression of Nogo-A was significantly stronger in the rehabilitation group at the 14th, 21st and 28th days. Conclusion Rehabilitation training decreased the expression of Nogo-A in the brain of rats after infarction. This may have important implications for the functional recovery of the central nervous system.

Objective To explore the risk factors of cerebral schistosomiasis japonica. Methods A total of 37 confirmed cases,diagnosed during 1999-2004 in Anhui Province,were involved in the study as case group. Three controls for each case were selected from the general population either without schistosomiasis,with chronic schistosomiasis or with acute schistosomiasis. The relevant risk factors on the disease were analyzed.
