Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(11):-
Objective:To study the feasibility of using MRI in detection and qualitative analysis of atherosclerotic plaque in rabbits. Methods: The atherosclerotic model was established in rabbits with high cholesterol diet. The experimental animals received T_(1)WI,T_(2)WI,PDWI and TOF sequences scanning and B ultrasound examination. Results: The atherosclerotic model was successfully established in rabbits.T_(1)WI,T_(2)WI and PDWI sequences scanning showed thickening of aortal wall and the plaque showed equal, high or low signal intensities, which was in good accordance with the pathological examination results. The atherosclerotic plaques were successfully detected and analyzed by MR and MR had higher accuracy than ultrasound examination. Conclusion: MR can be used for detection of atherosclerotic plaque and for qualitative analysis of the plaque.
2.Using susceptibility-weighted images to quantify iron deposition in Alzheimer’s disease
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(10):1605-1609
Objective To quantify iron deposition in Alzheimer’s disease (AD),amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI), and normal old people using susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI).Methods Sixty participants (22 aMCI,20 AD,18 normal con-trols)underwent conventional magnetic resonance imaging sequences and SWI using axial/oblique coronal sequences.Phase images were used to calculate bilateral iron deposition in 1 8 regions of interest (ROI)of every participant. The radian angle values were cal-culated and compared between the three groups. Results The radian angle value difference was significant between the aMCI and control groups in the left (L)-hippocampus,L-head of the caudate nucleus,R/L-lenticular nucleus ROIs.The radian angle value difference was significant between the AD and aMCI groups in the R/L-cerebellar hemisphere,R/L-hippocampus,R-red nucleus, R/L-thalamus and splenium of corpus callosum ROIs.Pearson correlation coefficients of the mini-mental state examination (MMSE)scores and many ROIs were significant. Conclusion Iron depositions in the hippocampus, head of the caudate nucleus,len-ticular nucleus and thalamus are significantly different between individuals with aMCI,AD and controls.Using SWI to quantify the iron deposition is a useful tool in detecting aMCI and AD.
3.Treatment of obstructive sleep apnea using bi-polar radiofrequency and oral appliance
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective: To evaluate the effects of the combined radiofrequency (RF) with oral appliance (OA) therapy on obstructive sleep apnea(OSA). Methods: 15 patients with OSA were diagnosed by overnight monitoring of polysomnography(PSG).They all received bi-polar radiofrequency treatment on palate twice.Polysomnography were taken for the patients 6 weeks after the second RF treatment. 10 cases without TMJ disease and periodontal disease with more than 10 teeth on each of maxillae or mandibulae were treated with OA. Reexamination of PSG was taken one month after application of OA.Statistic analyses were made in the measurements of PSG. Results:PSG measurements showed sleep improvement after treatment(P

Although digital subtraction angiography (DSA) has been used as the gold standard for the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms, its clinical use is somewhat limited by its invasiveness, high medical cost and potential risk of nephrotoxicity. For the past three decades, the magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) techniques have been developed rapidly. As a non-invasive technique with high resolution ability, MRA can replace DSA for the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms in most clinical situations. The time-of-flight MRA (TOF-MRA) carries a diagnostic sensitivity of up to 98.2%-98.7%for tiny intracranial aneurysms (<5 mm), while the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of contrast enhanced MRA (CE- MRA) for intracranial aneurysms are as high as 95% - 100% and 73% - 100% respectively. The diagnostic specificity of phase-contrast MRA (PC-MRA) for intracranial aneurysms (> 5 mm) reaches as high as 100%. All the above mentioned MRA techniques can clearly display the intracranial aneurysms although their imaging characteristics and clinical applications are different from each other. This paper aims to make a brief review concerning the principles, clinical applications and recent progress of some MRA techniques.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2015;(8):1040-1043
This review summarized some hot research fields in pharmacological effects of sinomenine such as anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and anti-tumor effects. In addition to our exploration of its antinociceptive effect, we summarized above-mentioned pharmacological effects of sinomenine and its underly-ing mechanism, in order to provide an evidence for its clinical use.

Objective To study the effect of hand intrinsic muscle exercise on postoperative recovery of fine movement in children with hand injury. Methods From January 2009 to December 2011,64 children with hand injury were randomly divided to exercise group and control group equally.Hand intrinsic muscle exercise and rehabilitative care were conducted in the exercise group while traditional rehabilitative therapies in control group. After 3-month therapy,MMDT(Minnesota Manual Dexterity Test)and PPT(Purdue Pegboard Test)were conducted to evaluate the functional recovery of hands.Result The results of MMDT and PPT were obviously better in the exercise group than in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Hand intrinsic muscle exercise may be effectively in promoting the recovery of fine movement in children with hand injury.

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2000;0(06):-
Objective To compare the binding characteristics of insulin receptors (IR) on ovary, adrenal and hepatic plasma membrane from rats. Methods The number and affinity of IR was detected by radioligand binding assay. Results Scatchard plot analyses showed that the receptor numbers for high affinity sites are 7. 359?10/mg protein, 8. 029? 10/mg protein and 6. 440?10/mg protein of liver, ovarian and adrenal plasma membrane with KD of 6.147?107 M-1, 1. 528?10, M-1, and 1. 010?107 M-1 that. The receptor numbers for low affinity sites are 2. 403?10/mg protein,2. 212?10/mg protein, and 2. 257?10/mg protein respectively with KD of 2. 920?10M-1,2. 008?10 M-1 and 0. 433?10sM-1. Conclusion There are abundent IR on ovary and adrenal just as many as those on liver, although the KD are smaller. It suggests that insulin may play an important regulatory role in ovary and adrenal.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the air pollution level and the distribution regularity of air pollutants in Jilin City. Methods Based on the data from air quality automatic monitoring system in environmental protection station in Jilin City from 2001 to 2005, the concentration change of the inhalable particulate matter (PM10), SO2, NO2 and TSP in the air were analyzed with hour, season and year in different functional areas. Results The concentration of SO2, NO2 in atmosphere in winter and summer showed a daily changing with a bimodal curve, which appeared a high value section at 19:00—21:00 and 7:00—8:00. The highest concentration of pollutants appeared in winter, the lowest one in summer. The daily average concentration range of SO2, NO2 and TSP was 0.021-0.045, 0.027-0.046 and 0.300-0.470 mg/m3 respectively from 2001 to 2005 with a descending trend by years. As for the space distribution, the pollution in the industry area was the heaviest. Conclusion The air pollution type in Jilin City is still a coal-burning pollution, the concentration of air pollutants distributes differently with time and space.
