Objective To observe the mechanism of herbal cake separated moxibustion to hyperlipemia (HLP) and atherosclerosis (AS) rabbits on cell and molecular level. Method 75 rabbits were divided into 5 groups randomly:blank group, model group of HLP and AS, direct moxibustion group, herbal cake separated moxibustion group, herb group, 15 rabbits each group. Model rabbits of HLP and AS were built by immunity injury method. The expression of VCAM-1 mRNA and E-sel mRNA were determined with the method of RT-PCR. OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for benign sustainable development of traditional Chinese and ethnic medicine enterprises in Guizhou. METHODS:Taking 129 traditional Chinese and ethnic medicine enterprises of 9 city and prefecture in Gui-zhou as survey object,questionnaires survey was conducted in 55 enterprises by stratified sampling according to location. The data statistical analysis was carried out in respects of related policies familiarity,product positioning,independent innovation from 2009 to 2013. Relevant development countermeasures were put forward. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:45.1% of enterprises ex-pressed to know and be familiar with relevant policies,51.0% expressed to alert but only understand,and 3.9% said largely un-known. At the past five years,the annual output value and sales revenue of enterprises had risen year by year. Almost 80% produc-tion and technical personnel of enterprises had the junior title or no title;marketing department staff mainly had college and second-ary school degree,accounting for 47.5% and 25.3% respectively;research personnel mainly had bachelor and college degree,ac-counting for 57.0% and 33.7% respectively. At the past five years,independent innovation input took up 2.4% of sales revenue av-eragely. There are problems,such as small and medium enterprises occupying dominate position;enterprises lacking of sufficient understanding on related policies;strategies being adjusted slowly;independent innovation input intensity needing to increase. Countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,such as strengthening the relevant policy advocacy,guiding corporate mergers and acquisitions,closely paying attention to industry development,changing innovation ideas,and attaching importance to research of exclusive production of essential medicine.

An evaluation scale of medical services quality was developed on the basis of "patients' experience". The questionnaires were developed by, among others, searching relevant literature, collecting well-established assessment scales, measuring patients' experience and satisfaction, brain-storming, literature analysis. Delphi method was adopted for expert consultation. Scale items were screened and revised. The key indexes were converted. Field surveys were conducted for testing the reliability and validity of the scale. Our modified evaluation scale for measuring medical services quality based on "patients' experience" included 6 dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and continuity), and 50 items. The novel scale based on "patients' experience" may better serve the purpose of assessing medical services quality.

Objective To investigate the multiple factors correlated to femoral head necrosis in patients over 45 years old with femoral neck fractures after closed reduction and cannulated screws fixation.Methods Three hundred patients with femoral neck fracture were admitted from May 1999 to May 2004 and treated by closed reduction and internal fixation with cannulated screws.We analyzed the multiple factors:age,gender,Garden classification,follow-up time,procedure delay,quality of reduction,time of full-weight-loading,fixation removal, and preoperative traction.Multiple correlation factors were analyzed by SPSS10.0 statistic system.Results Complete case records were documented in 99 cases who were followed up for an average of 24.5 months(range,8 to 60 months).Femoral head necrosis occurred in 15 cases(15.2%).Time of femoral head necrosis was 8 to 50 months after operation.The combination of quality of reduction,preoperative traction,age,and age?fixation re- moval was found to have the most significant influence on femoral head necrosis after internal fixation for femoral neck fractures.Conclusions Good reduction is the most important factor correlated to the outcome of a femoral neck fracture.Age is linked to the risk of necrosis but it is relatively insignificant.Preoperative traction in wrong positions can increase the incidence of necrosis.Garden classification is important in predicting femoral head necrosis and is associated with quality of reduction,but it is not a risk one in the combination of multiple correlation factors that lead to the necrosis.

Macrophages play an important role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Previously, studies have shown that changes in the metabolism of glucose, choline, amino acids and lipids in macrophages of patients with RA can lead to the accumulation of metabolic intermediates which can act as inflammatory signaling molecules to aggravate the inflammation and cause complications. Therefore, a full understanding of the metabolic process of macrophages in RA patients will lay the foundation for macrophage-targeted therapy of RA. In this review, not only the role of macrophage abnormal metabolism in the pathogenesis of RA but also the research progress on macrophage-targeted drugs in RA treatment will be discussed.

Objective: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Taizhou City from 2016 to 2021, so as to provide the evidence for formulating the pulmonary tuberculosis control measures. Methods: The epidemiological data of pulmonary tuberculosis cases in Taizhou City from 2016 to 2021 were retrieved from the Tuberculosis Management Information System and Infectious Disease Surveillance System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System, and the trends in the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis and regional, population and temporal distributions of pulmonary tuberculosis were analyzed using a descriptive epidemiological method in Taizhou City from 2016 to 2021. Results: A total of 15 621 pulmonary tuberculosis cases were reported in Taizhou City from 2016 to 2021, with annual mean reported incidence of 42.12/105. The incidence of reported pulmonary tuberculosis reduced from 43.74/105 in 2016 to 36.31/105 in 2021, with an annual decline rate of 3.65% (χ2trend=34.172, P<0.001). There were 7 606 cases positive for pathogenic tests (48.69%), and the positive rate of pathogenic tests appeared a tendency towards a rise from 2016 to 2021 (χ2trend =470.906, P<0.001). The reported incidence rates of pulmonary tuberculosis were 57.83/105 and 25.46/105 in men and women, and a high incidence rate was reported in patients at ages of 20 to <25 years (72.80/105) and 65 years and older (84.75/105). Farmer was the predominant type of occupation (8 365 cases, 53.55%), and the cases peaked from March to August, with the greatest seasonal index in May (119.76%). A high annual incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis was reported in Xianju County (52.51/105) and Wenling City (49.98/105) from 2016 to 2021, and the a high constituent ratio of patients positive for pathogenic tests was seen in Sanmen County (58.71%) and Luqiao District (53.24%). Conclusions The reported incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis showed a tendency towards a decline, and the proportion of pulmonary tuberculosis patients positive for pathogenic tests showed a remarkable increase in Taizhou City from 2016 to 2021. The number of patients peaked in spring and summer. In addition, high incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis was seen in Xianju County and Wenling City.

Furbenicillin is a broad-spectrum semisynthetic penicillin with strong antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria. Furbenicillin sodium is determined by volumetric method in current criteria. However, the criteria does not contain an assay of related substances of furbenicillin sodium. In this study, we established a method for detection and analysis of furbenicillin sodium and its related substances by HPLC. The analysis was performed with a C18 column under a gradient elution, the detection wavelength was 225 nm, and the column temperature was 35 degrees C. The reliability and accuracy of established method was validated in this study. Pure samples of furbenicillin sodium and its related substances were prepared. The structures, biological activities, and chromatographic retention behaviors of furbenicillin sodium and its related substances were identified using NMR, CLSI agar dilution method, and HPLC. All results in the current study provide ample evidence that this method is able to determine the reasonable limits in the quality-control protocol for furbenicillin sodium.

Objective To compare the efficacy and predictability of sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK and two-zone cross-cylinder LASIK for the correction of moderate and high astigmatism.Design Prospective,comparative case series.Participants 40 eyes of 35 patients with mixed astigmatism undergoing LASIK.Methods All patients were treated with Visx Star IV LASIK system.20 eyes of 19 cases were used for sphere-cylinder combined LASIK mode and 20 eyes of 16 cases for two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode.All sub- jects were followed more than 6 months.Main Outcome Measures Uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA),best spectacle-corrected visual acuity (BSCVA),spherical diopter,residual astigmatism and corneal thickness.Results For the patients who received two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode,the UCVA at 6 months after surgery was 0.5 or above,and 13 eyes (65.0%) were 1.0 or above. For the patients who received sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode,the UCVA at 6 months after surgery was 0.5 or above,and 11 eyes (55.0%) was 1.0 or above (P=0.683).The residual astigmatism for the patients received sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode was (1.15?1.00)D,while for the patients received cross-cylinder LASIK mode was (1.13?0.62)D(P=0.045).The remotion depth of cornea for sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode and cross-cylinder LASIK mode was (36.73?13.12)?m and (15.60?6.85)?m,respectively (P= 0.031).Condusion The UCVA,residual astigmatism and corneal thickness after surgery in two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode were better than that in sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode for the correction of moderate and high astigmatism.
