Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the clinical features and prognosis of arrhythmia in newborn infants. Methods Eighty children with arrhythmia were diagnosed by physical examination and electrocardiogram monitoring in author's hospital from Jan.2004 to Dec.2006.Their clinical features and 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram were analyzed at the acute stage and followed up.Results Out of 80 cases of arrhythimics,52 cases were boys and 28 cases were girls, with an average age of 4 days on diagnosis of arrhythmias.Forty-five neonates presented with supraventricular arrhythmia, accounting for 56.3%.Their clinical presentations were atypical, and the hypoxia, infection, electrolyte disturbances and metabolic disorders were the main causes of the arrhythmias. After supportive and anti-arrhythmia treatment,18 cases of arrhythmias disappeared of 25 children with premature atrial beats;10 cases of 21 children with premature ventricular beats were cured,2 cases of 4 children with ventricular tachycardia,1 case died;2 cases of 3 children with supraventricular tachycardia didn't occure;3 cases of 5 with atrio-ventricular block were cured. The prognosis was better in supraventricular arrhythmias than that in ventricular and other arrhythmias at discharge. At the follow-up of(1.2?0.7)years,there were no differences in rates of recovery between supraventricular arrhythmias and ventricular arrhythmias. Conclusions Supraventricular arrhythmia was the most common type of arrhythmias in neonates. Most of the arrhythmia in neonates might be functional and could recover without treatment.Supraventricular arrhythmia usually had better prognosis in acute period.Only a few neonates with severe arrhythmia need anti-arrhythmias treatment.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the technique and therapeutic effect of sternoclavicular hook plate fixation in treating sternoclavicular joint (SCJ) dislocation.
METHODSFrom January 2010 to March 2014,6 patients with SCJ dislocation were treated with sternoclavicular hook plate fixation in our hospital. Among the 6 patients, 5 patients were male and 1 patient was female, and the average age was 34 years, ranging from 26 to 48 years. The course of the disease ranged from 3 to 20 days. All the SCJ dislocations were caused by external injury and accompanied with the symptoms of swelling pain and obvious shoulder joint activity restricted in affected side. All SCJ dislocations were anterior dislocation by the diagnosis of X-ray and CT scan. The postoperative curative effect was evaluated according to Rockwood score.
RESULTSAll the patients' operative incision were healed well and in good appearance. X-ray showed that the dislocated SCJ was well reduced and the plate was on right position. All the 6 patients were followed up for 4 to 18 months, with an average of 12 months. The results were evaluated according to Rockwood score, 4 got excellent results, 1 good and 1 fair. No fixation loosening, redislocation or side injury such as vessel, nerve or pleura injury were found.
CONCLUSIONWith sternoclavicular hook plate fixation, SCJ dislocation could be reduced while keeping its amphiarthrodial function and the completeness of the cartilage surface. Sternoclavicular hook plate fixation has advantages of safety and stabilization in fixation, and patients can begin function exercises earlier.

Chinese Journal of Stomatology 2003;38(4):257-260
OBJECTIVETo study relation of the expression of hTERT mRNA and cyclin A, p53 protein, proliferation cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in ameloblastoma (AB) and to investigate clinical biological characteristics of AB.
METHODSThe hTERT mRNA was detected by in situ hybridization, cyclin A, p53 protein and PCNA by SP method. Normal oral mucosa and odontogenic keratocyst (OKC) are comparition.
RESULTSThe positive ratio of hTERT mRNA was 1/7 cases in normal oral mucosa. The expression of cyclin A, p53 and PCNA in normal oral mucosa were similar, and the positive cells distributed in stratum basale. In OKC, the positive cells distributed in stratum basale and super-strrtum basale. And the positive ratio of hTERT, cyclin A, p53, PCNA in OKC was 14/16 cases, 4/32 cases, 11/25 cases, 5/9 cases, respectively. In AB, the positive ratio of hTERT mRNA, cyclin A, p53 protein and PCNA was 94.4% (51/54), 66.7% (40/60), 85.7% (42/49) and 78.1% (25/32), respectively. A strong correlation was found between hTERT mRNA with cyclin A, p53 protein and PCNA (r(s) = 0.914, 0.848, 0.804, P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe expression of hTETR mRNA, cyclin A, p53 and PCNA is different in different tissues and lesions, and correlates with cell differentiation and clinical biology behaviour. Telomerase activity is related to cumulation of p53 protein, related to cell proliferation and differentiation, regulated by cyclin A, and higher in S phase.

OBJECTIVETo explore relations between ALT level and hepatitis B virus (HBV) specific CTL and non-specific CTL in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).
METHODS148 cases of CHB were divided into three groups according to ALT level. 35 cases in group A, ALT > or =2 x upper limit of normal value (ULN)--5 x ULN (100-250 IU/L); 53 cases in group B, ALT > 5 x ULN-- < or =10 x ULN (251-500 IU/L); 60 cases in group C, ALT > 10 x ULN ( > 500 IU/L). Flow cytometry is used to determine non-specific CTV. HBV specific CTL was tested on 74 cases of CHB (17 in group A, 27 in group B and 30 in group C) with positive (HLA)-A2. Compare HBV specific CTL, non-specific CTL, HBV DNA levels and positive rate of HBeAg.
RESULTSHBV specific CTL: Group A (0.42 +/- 0.10)% is higher than group B (0.25 +/- 0.08)%, t = 6.37, P < 0.01, group B is higher than group C (0.17 +/- 0.004)%, t = 5.14, P < 0.01; Non-specific CTL: Group A (15.01 +/- 3.01)% is lower than group B (18.1 +/- 5.02)%, t = 2.81, P < 0.01, group B is lower than group C (21.5 +/- 6.11)%, t = 3.07, P < 0.01; HBV DNA level: Group A [(4.97 +/- 0.86) log10 copies/ml] is lower than group B [(5.92 +/- 0.92) log10 copies/ml], t = 4.87, P < 0.01. Group B is lower than group C [(6.37 +/- 0.71) log10 copies/ml], t = 2.92, P < 0.01; Positive HBeAg: Group A (15 cases, 42.86%) is lower than group B (32 cases, 60.38%), chi2 = 2.59, P > 0.05. Group B is lower than group C (41 cases, 68.33%), chi2 = 0.78, P > 0.05. Group A is lower than group C, chi2 = 5.929, P < 0.05.
CONCLUSIONThe higher the non-specific CTL of patients with CHB is, the higher the ALT level would be, whereas the lower the HBV specific CTL is, the stronger the HBV replication would be.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2017;25(5):331-335
The in itiation and progression of periodontal disease were reported to be the results of complicated interactions between specific subgingival bacteria and host immuno-inflammatory response. As a part of the immune and defense system mechanisms of the host, leptin may have a protective effect on periodontal tissues. We summarize the latest progress in the relationship between leptin and periodontitis.

OBJECTIVETo study emetic and anti-emetic effects of Rhizoma pinelliae in minks.
METHODThe emetic effect of raw pinellia 2 g kg(-1) (i.g.) was investigated. Three preparations of Rhizoma pinelliae (processed with ginger) were made by ethanol extraction, water extraction and water decoction respectively and their effects on emesis model induced by cisplatin (7.5 mg kg(-1), i.p.) or apomorphine (1.6 mg kg(-1), s.c.) were then studied; the effect of the decoction of ginger-processed Rhizoma pinelliae on rotation-induced emesis model in minks was also observed.
RESULTThe emesis was induced by raw pinellia in minks (P < 0.01); ginger-processed Rhizoma pinelliae, metoclopramide and ondansetron significantly inhibit the emesis induced by cisplatin and apomorphine (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONGinger-processed Rhizoma pinelliae exhibits a anti-emetic effect in minks, which may be mediated by inhibiting the function of the vomiting center in central nervous system.
