Objective To investigate the effect of eosinophils(EOS)in asthmatic guinea pigs airway and explore the mechanism of antiasthma by inhaled arsenic trioxide. Methods The guinea pigs asthma models were established with ovalbumin(OVA)challenge method,2 groups received inhaled different doses of arsenic trioxide,and three control groups respectively received normal saline inhaled and high dose of arsenic trioxide by intraperitoneal injection and dexamethasone(DEX)intraperitoneally. EOS invaded and apoptosis with all of the groups were assessed after 7 days intraperitoneal injection or inhalation. Results Compared with group of inhaled normal saline, both EOS invaded and apoptosis in bronchus submuconsa were significantly different(P0.05)among groups of inhaled low dose arsenic trioxide [2.0 mg(kg?d)]and intraperitoneal injection with higher dose arsenic trioxide[5.0 kg/(kg?d)]and DEX[10 mg/(kg?d)]for these two parameters. Conclusions The mechanism of arsenic trioxide antiasthma with arsenic trioxide can decrease EOS amount in bronchial submucosa and accelerate EOS apoptosis, and relieve bronchial inflammation in asthma. For inhaled lower dose arsenic trioxide or intraperitoneal injection with high dose arsenic trioxide ,the effect of EOS is equivalent. The antiasthma effect of inhaled lower dose arsenic trioxide[2.0 mg/(kg?d)]is equivalent to intraperitoneal injection higher dose[5.0 mg/(kg?d)],and may be safe comparatively. The mechanism of antiasthma by inhaled arsenic trioxide is the same with DEX.

AIM:To explore the cataract suspensory ligament rupture and artificial lens implantation suture fixation into capsular bag without capsular tension ring(CTR).METHODS:We reviewed 20 cases of 20 cataract suspensory ligament rupture without CTR intraocular lens (IOL) implantation fixation in our department from Jan.2012 to Dec.2016.The needle crossed into ocular ciliary sulcus, in the equator of the eye ball which suspensory ligament rupture from, then the needle crossed out 1.5mm away from the angle of sclera.Sutures fixed on the IOL, then the artificial lens implantation in the pouch, carried out in accordance with the Z type suture, or to the beforehand prepared triangle scleral flap.The visual acuity, intraocular pressure, the anterior chamber and the IOL position were measured after operations.RESULTS:All of the postoperative visual acuity improved different level.The postoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) was ≥0.8 in 4 eyes(20%), 0.5-0.6 in 7 eyes(35%), 0.3-0.4 in 8 eyes(40%), 0.1 in 1 eye(5%) because of the glaucoma optic atrophy.There were 12 cases with mild corneal endothelium edema, 4 cases exudation membrane in the pupil area, 2 cases hyphema, all of which recovered after treatment.There were 2 eyes with vitreous prolapse in the pupil, 1 case appeared mild IOL center deviation and no special treatment for the vision did not be involved.Followed up for 6mo, displaced stitches or artificial lens shift did not occur.CONCLUSION:Without CTR, the IOL implantation and suture fixation in capsular bag during cataract surgery is a surgical method for basic-level hospitals.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of using stroke volume variation (SVV) as the left ventricular preload to draw the cardiac function curve.Methods Twenty-seven patients of both sexes,aged 18-64 yr,with body mass index of 18-30 kg/m2,of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅱ (New York Heart Association Ⅱ),with abnormal cardiac function,scheduled for elective offpany coronary artery byp grafting,were enrolled in this study.Twenty-five patients,aged 18-64 yr,with body mass index of 18-30 kg/m2,of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰ (New York Heart Association Ⅰ),with normal cardiac function,scheduled for elective non-cardiac surgery,were also enrolled in this study.SVV and SV were monitored by using a FloTrac/VigileoTM system.The patients were in the supine position from the end of anesthesia induction to the beginning of surgery.After the hemodynamics was kept stable for 5 min,SVV and SV were recorded.6％ hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 500 ml was intravenously infused over 20 min.SVV and SV were recorded after volume expansion.Spearman rank-order correlation was used to analyze the relationship between SVV and SV.The quadratic regression analysis was used to draw the SVV-SV curve,and the SVV-SV curve was compared with the Frank-Starling curve.Results Compared with the value before volume expansion,SVV and HR were significantly decreased,and SV was increased after volume expansion in the patients with normal cardiac function,and SVV was decreased after volume expansion in the patients with abnormal cardiac function (P＜0.01).SVV was negatively correlated with SV in the patients with normal cardiac function,and r=-0.467 (P＜0.05).SVV was negatively correlated with SV in the patients with abnormal cardiac function,and r=-0.378 (P＜0.05).The mirror symmetry was found between the SVV-SV curve in the patients with normal cardiac function and the normal Frank-Starling curve,and the general trend was close.The symmetry was not detected between the SVV-SV curve in the patients with abnormal cardiac function and the Frank-Starling curve in the patients with decreased myocardial contractility,and the general trend was not close.Conclusion For the patients with normal cardiac function,SVV can be used as the left ventricular preload to draw the cardiac function curve.

OBJECTIVE To investigate hand hygiene of healthcare workers in burn ward in our hospital and provide scientific basis for the effective prevention and control of hospital infection in burn ward.METHODS Selected randomly 30 healthcare workers in burn ward and sampled from hands for bacterial culture.RESULTS The average colony of hand pathogens of the 30 healthcare workers was 105.42 CFU/cm2,the maximam was 1093 CFU/cm2.Among the hand pathogens,40.91% were Bacillus subtilis,36.36% were micrococcus and 13.64% were Staphylococcus aureus.CONCLUSIONS Hand hygiene of healthcare workers are not optimistic in burn ward.Strengthening the education of hand hygiene and raising the executable rate of hand hygiene are important measures to prevent and control the hospital infection in burn ward.

Trehalose is a naturally occurring non-reducing disaccharide. This sugar has been known as a protector of biomembrane and macromolecules. And it has been widely used in foods, medicines, cosmetics. Trehalose synthase (TreS) is an intramolecular transglycosylase. It can catalyze the conversion of maltose into trehalose in one step. As the simple protocol and cheap substrate, it is very prospect in the industrial production. Here we have discussed the properties, catalytic mechanism and gene-engineering of TreS, and also proposed some solutions to its present research problems.

Objective To evaluate the application value of T cell infected with Mybacterium tuberculosis assay in diagnosis of smear and culture negative pulmonary tuberculosis .Methods In total ,145 patients with smear and culture negative pulmonary tu‐berculosis and 45 patients with non‐tuberculosis lung disease were enrolled in the study .All patients received T cell infected with Mybacterium tuberculosis test and sensitivity ,specificity ,positive predicted value ,negative predicted value of testing for the diagno‐sis of smear and culture‐negative TB patients were calculated .Results The sensitivity of specificity T cell infected with Mybacteri‐um tuberculosis assay in diagnosis of smear and culture negative pulmonary tuberculosis was 85 .5% ,the specificity was 84 .4% , positive predicted value was 94 .7% ,negative predicted value was 64 .4% .No statistical significance in age‐dependent groups(P>0 .05) .Conclusion T cell infected with Mybacterium tuberculosis assay has high positive predicted value in diagnosis of smear and culture negative pulmonary tuberculosis and is suitable for clinical auxiliary diagnosis .

The release kinetics research of sustained-release formulations of traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) is an inalienable part of the chain of TCM modernization, which plays an important role in the development of modern compound TCM preparation. However, the research method or pattern in line with the specific characteristics of TCM, i.e., multi-component and multi-target, is still lacking. On the basis of material rough set theory, this paper reviewed the advantages and disadvantages of the existing evaluation patterns and methods, a tentative idea about the "total amount" release characteristics evaluation on TCM compound sustained-release preparation has suggested so as to evaluate the release kinetics and to promote the development of evaluation methodology on TCM sustained-release preparations.

Objective To observe enhancing effect of nerve regeneration on peripheral nerve defect models bridged by VPA/PRGD conduit combined with adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs).Methods From February,2013 to August,2014,the hollow nerve scaffolds were constructed by PRGD and VPA.The activity of AD SCs proliferation was tested through the method of CCK-8.Moreover,the effect of VPA/PRGD conduit combined with ADSCs on peripheral nerve regeneration was evaluated,as well as recovery of motor function following sciatic nerve resection in rats.A 10 mm sciatic nerve deficit was created in a rat model and bridged by VPA/PRGD conduit combined with ADSCs (group A),VPAfPRGD conduit (group B) and autograft (group C) respectively.The results was analyzed by the method of group t-test of SPSS 19.0.Results At 3 d,6 d,9 d,CCK-8 test showed that the OD value of groups VPA/PRGD and control has no significance(P ＞ 0.05).At 12 weeks after surgery,the numbers of regenerated nerve proximal to the tube of group A (268±7.48),group B (269±6.86) and group C (271±7.55),had no significant difference between two groups(P ＞ 0.05).The numbers of regenerated nerve in the tube of group A (257±6.19) and group C (260±5.60) were significantly higher than those of group B (229±5.08) (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant between groups A and C (P ＞ 0.05).The numbers of regenerated nerve distal to the tube of group A (246±5.89) and group C (247±5.02) were significantly higher than those of group B (214±7.55) (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant between groups A and C (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion These promising results illustrate that this novel VPA/PRGD combined with ADSCs conduit can obviously facilitate the regeneration of injured nerve in rats.
