Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(21):55-57
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of staged nursing intervention on smoking behavior in young male adult patients with first attack of stroke. Methods 89 patients were randomly assigned to the intervention group (46 cases) and the control group (43 cases). In the intervention group, the patients were given staged nursing intervention based on their psychological stages in hospital and 11-week followup. The outcome of smoking cessation was evaluated three months after discharge. Results The rate of smoking cessation in the intervention group was higher than that of the control group.Smoking abstinence for the intervention group was more than the control group.FTND (Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence) scores were significantly different between two groups. Conclusions The staged nursing intervention is feasible for young male adults with stroke. We should increase secondary prevention consciousness and strengthen the implementation of relevant countermeasures.
2.Status quo of smoking behavior of young male smokers with stroke
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2014;30(10):45-46
Objective To explore the smoking behavior and its influencing factors of young male smokers with stroke, and set basis for further smoking cessation intervention. Methods 209 male smokers(≤45 years old) with stroke were randomly chosen, the information of demographic factors and smoking behaviors from medical files was got. Results Older people were more likely to be heavy smokers, the biggest percent (45.2%) of heavy smokers came from more than 40 years old people.Smoking consumption per day was affected by age, education and occupation, significant differences were found. Conclusions More than 40 years old patients in young male smokers with stroke should be focused in the intervention of smoking cessation.

Chongqing Medicine 2015;44(12):1599-1602
Objective To explore the difference between before and afteintervertebral fusion in transforaminal lumbainter-body fusion (TLIF) by unilateral obilateral pedicle screw (PS) fixation .MethodThe L3 -5 Cdatbased on the normal people were used to rebuild the L3 -5 three-dimensional finite elemenmodel(INT) and TLIF operative model .On thibasi, the unilateral Pfixation (M1) and bilateral Pfixation (M2) modelbefore the intervertebral fusion and the unilateral Pfixation (M3) and bi-lateral Pfixation (M4) modelafteintervertebral fusion were buil.Aftesetting the boundary and loading the burden ,the ante-flexion ,retroversion ,lateral bending and rotation of lumbavertebrwere simulated and the L 4 -5 segmenanguladisplacemenand the stresdistribution of implanwere recorded .ResultThe unilateral and bilateral Pfixation model before fusion reduced the range of motion(ROM ) of segmencompared with the Inmodel ,the bilateral fixation wareduced greatethan the unilateral fixa-tion ,buthe difference aftefusion wasignificantly decreased .The peak Von Misestressebefore fusion in the unilateral Pfixa-tion wasignificantly highethan thain the bilateral fixation ,while theipeak Von Misestresseaftefusion trended to be con-sisten.Conclusion The unilateral Pfixation aftefusion can provide the consistensegmenstability same to the bilateral Pfixa-tion .The long-term effecof TLIF with unilateral Pfixation isimilato thawith the bilateral Pfixation .

Chongqing Medicine 2016;45(12):1608-1611
Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of icariin(ICA) on the xenograft tumors growth of esophageal car‐cinoma and to preliminarily investigate its mechanism .Methods The MTT assay and Giemsa staining were applied to detect and observe the in vitro inhibitory effect of ICA on esophagus cancer cell lines Eca‐109 and TE‐13 .The xenograft tumor model of nude mouse esophagus cancer cell was constructed and divided into 3 groups ,6 cases in each group .Each mouse in the experimental group was intraperitoneally injected by ICA 50 mg/kg ;while the control group was injected by the same volume of normal saline and the positive control group was injected by cis‐platinum 2 mg/kg ,once every 2 days ,a total of 14 days .The tumor volume was measured once per 3 d .After experiment ,the tumor weight was measured;the TUNEL staining was used to observe the morphological chan‐ges and cell apoptosis of tumor tissue in each group .The changes of Fas and FasL protein expression in tumor tissues were analyzed by immunohistochemistry .The FasL and IFN‐γlevels in peripheral blood were tested by the ELISA assay .Results ICA exerted no obvious inhibitory effect on the proliferation of Eca‐109 and TE‐13 cell in vitro .The average volume and weight of xenografts tumor had statistical difference between the experimental group and the positive control group (P<0 .05) .The TUNEL staining results showed that the tumor tissues had obvious apoptosis ,the number of apoptosis cells was significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0 .05) .The immunohistochemistry experimental results showed that the expression of Fas and FasL was signifi‐cantly increased(P<0 .05) .The ELISA experimental results demonstrated that the FasL and IFN‐γlevels of peripheral blood in the experimental group were significantly increased(P<0 .05) .Conclusion ICA had no obvious inhibitory effect on esophageal cancer cell proliferation in vitro ,but could induce in vivo apoptosis through the Fas expression and secretion of FasL and IFN‐γ,thus plays the role of anti‐esophageal cancer .

Objective To analyze the population genetics of two outbred colony guinea pigs from two institutions and provide basical information in developing genetic detection methods and standardization of the outbred guinea pigs. Methods 25 polymorphic microsatellite markers were screened by a fluorescent based semi-automated genotyping method for the two populations of guinea pigs, and the population genetic parameters were calculated. Results A total of 121 alleles were detected in the two populations, with 2-10 alleles and a mean 4.84 alleles at each locus. The mean expected heterozygosity was 0.6067, and the average polymorphism information content was 0.552.In the two populations, 103 and 116 alleles were detected, the mean expected heterozygosity was 0.5195 and 0.5838, and mean polymorphism information content was 0.459 and 0.518, respectively.Five loci and six loci, respectively, showed significant deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P<0.05) in the two populations, mostly resulted from heterozygote deficiency. The average Fst of all loci was 0.1056, which implied a moderate genetic differentiation between populations. The Nei’ (1972) genetic distance and Nei ‘(1978) unbiased genetic distance between the two populations were 0.3302 and 0.3204, respectively. Conclusions Both the two populations are consistent with a closed group of animal population genetic characteristics.Several loci deviate from HWE, which probably indicates that a certain degree of inbreeding phenomenon exists during the breeding process.

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcome of hip arthroplasty following femoral neck fracture. Methods Sixty-one cases of femoral neck fracture were treated by hip arthmplasty from January 2000 to April 2008,and their complete data were available, whose age ranged from 36 to 90 years old, mean age(71.5±14.7)years old.The group comprised 21 men and 40 women. Results Clinical follow-up ranged from 3 months to 8 years. The Harris hip score improved from(17.5±8.4)scores pre-operatively to(78.1±8.5)scores post-operatively,and the average leg-length discrepancy decreased from(2.52±1.09)cm pre-operatively to(0.81±0.73)cm post-operatively.The differences between pre-operative data and post-operative data were significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Hip arthroplasty is an ideal procedure for old femoral neck fracture in elderly patients or those who followed failed previous treatment.
