2.Progress in drug therapy for retinoblastoma
Ophthalmology in China 2006;0(06):-
Retinoblastoma is the most common intraoeular malignant tumor in children. In its treatment, drug therapy is one of the most effective and irreplaceable methods. To reduce the toxicity of drugs, enhance the therapeutic effect and lessen drug resistance, some new drug deliver systems and new medicines for retinoblastoma are coming into being.Ophthalmic arterial infusion, fibrin sealant and iontophoresis are newly-found drug deliver systems. And the latest drugs under research include nutlins, phenoxazine derivative Phx-1,combretastatin A4 phosphate,2-deoxy-d-glucose and histone deacetylase inhibitors, etc. The following text is focused on the two aspects of the drug therapy for retinoblastoma.
3.Views of College Students on Mental Health
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(12):-
Objective:To investigate college students' perspective of mental health Method:440 college students were asked to fill up SCL-90 and a mental health knowledge investigation questionnaire made by the authors Result:Most students concerned about their mental health and liked to learn the knowledge of mental health However, there were still some aspects they kept incorrect ideas The results also showed that there were some difference in the attitude toward mental health, as well as the comprehension of the knowledge of mental health between male and female; among freshman, sophomore, junior and senior; between students in different universities, and between students who had visited counselors or psychotherapists and others who had not Conclusion:Pearson correlation analysis showed that college students' knowledge of and attitude to mental health related to their status of mental heath significantly

Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2015;37(5):40-43
Objective To discuss the influences of programmed death-1 (PD-1) factor on osteosarcoma cells MG-63.Methods Osteosarcoma stem cells were sovted and identified through osteosarcoma cell strain MG-63 cells. The influence of PD-1 signal on T cells proliferation were detected by MTT. The expression of PD-1 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.Results Cancer cells had an obvious proliferation within one week, which showed the strong ability of proliferation and aggressivity. The formation of tumor cells spheres depended on the support of serum nutrition. The number of MG-63 cells proliferation in serum culture medium was significantly higher than the osteosarcoma cells spheres in serum-free suspension culture ( P<0.05 ) .Pluripotent stem cell marks that the expression of CD133 in cancer cell sphere was significantly higher than that of MG-63(P<0.05).RT-PCR results showed the PD-1 expression level of cancer cell sphere and MG-63 were increased significantly. Conclusion MG-63 cell line has the character istics of osteosarcoma stem cells.MG-63 cell line can express the corresponding cell markers. The expression of PD-1 also increase significantly which can reduce immune function of patients and is closely related with the occurrence and development of tumors.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2008;6(3):266-9
OBJECTIVE: To explore the diagnostic value of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) level in patients with sepsis of blood-stasis syndrome. METHODS: The prospective method of clinical diagnostic test and evaluation principles of diagnostic test were applied. One hundred and seventy-four patients with sepsis were divided into two groups: blood-stasis syndrome group and non blood-stasis syndrome group. The levels of serum BNP in two groups were detected. RESULTS: The level of BNP in sepsis patients was related to blood-stasis syndrome (P<0.01). BNP cut-off level was 150 ng/L, sensitivity was 85.3%, specificity was 81%, the maximum value of Youden index was 0.663, and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) value was (0.886+/-0.025). CONCLUSION: BNP can be used as an objective index of blood-stasis syndrome diagnosis for sepsis, and BNP with boundary value of 150 ng/L is an optimal biological index.

Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2013;33(4):267-270
Objective To investigate the value of 99Tcm-MDP imaging for the differential diagnosis between infection and aseptic loosening after total hip arthroplasty. Methods During February 2008 to August 2011,74 patients (32 males,42 females, average age (64.3±11.2) years) with hip pain after arthroplasty underwent 3-phase (blood flow, blood pool and bone phases) 99Tcm-MDP imaging. All patients had measurements of serum C reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).Joint infection was defined as either increased peri-prosthetic soft tissue activity during perfusion and blood pool phases or increased peri-prosthetic bone activity during uptake phase,or positive in all 3 phases.Aseptic loosening was defined as having negative 99Tcm-MDP in all 3 phases.Clinical diagnosis was chosen as the gold standard. The blood flow-pool imaging was compared with the serum examinations.x2 test was used for statistical analysis. Results There were 74 symptomatic joints in 74 patients, including 24 joint infections and 50 aseptic loosening. For the detection of peri-prosthetic infection, combined perfusion-blood-pool phase was more accurate than bone uptake phase (90.5% (67/74) vs 55.4% (41/74) ;x2=23.159,P<0.001),with the sensitivity of 91.7% (22/24)vs 70.8% (17/24) and specificity of 90.0% (45/50) vs 48.0% (24/50),respectively.The blood flow-pool imaging was also more accurate than CRP (73.0% (54/74) ;x2 =7.656,P<0.05) and ESR (71.6% (53/74) ; x2 =8.633,P<0.05),respectively.Conclusion 99Tcm-MDP perfusion/blood flow-pool imaging is an accurate modality for differentiating peri-prosthetic infection from aseptic loosening in patients with hip pain after arthroplasty.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(23):3226-3227,3229
Objective To understand the specimen source of clinical isolated Acinetobacter(A.)baumannii and its department distribution and drug resistance in order to guide the clinical standardized medication for preventing the drug resistance increase. Methods The drug resistance of A.baumannii was monitored by using the unified scheme, materials, methods and criteria (CLSI2010).Results Among 579 strains of A.Baumannii,39 strains(2.2%)were isolated in 2011,187 strains(10.5%)were isola-ted in 2012 and 353 strains(15.4%)were isolated in 2013.In the department distribution,271 strains were isolated from ICU and 104 strains from the department of respiratory medicine. In the positive isolation rates of various specimens, the positive rate was dominated by the sputum specimen(5.55%),followed by wound secretion and pus.The antibacterial susceptibility tests showed that A.baumannii had lowest resistance to cefoperazone/sulbactam(40.1%),which could be used as the drug of first choice.Con-clusion A.baumannii has the higher resistance to many kinds of antibacterial drugs. The drug resistance monitoring of A.bauman-nii should be strengthened in clinc and antibacterial drugs should be selected and used rationally.
9.Relationship between the carotid artery atherosclerotic plaque and its risk factors and cerebral infarction
Journal of Clinical Neurology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To explore the relationship between the carotid artery atherosclerotic(CAA) plaque and its risk factors and cerebral infarction(CI).Methods 196 patients with CI(CI group) and 104 patients without CI(non-CI group) were examined by color Doppler ultrasonography on their carotid artery. The relationships were analysed between the CAA plaque with age, sex, accompany disease, smoking and alcohol drinking of all the pataints. Also, the distribution of different grade plaque was observed in each group. Results The incidences of CAA plaque were higher in patients with aged, accompainied hypertension, diabetes, abnormal blood-lipids and smoking(P
