4.Reflection on practice of progressive assessment on comprehensive quality of undergraduates
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2013;(1):60-62
Progressive assessment is one of the methods adopted by colleges and universities to evaluate the comprehensive quality of undergraduates. It can provide objective references for various awards and selections. Most colleges used static and transverse methods; based on these methods, advantages and disadvantages of individual undergraduates were compared with general groups, but feedback and forecast functions of assessment can not be realized. Therefore it is necessary to transform our conceptions and practice progressive assessment on comprehensive quality of undergraduates. We can learn from the relevant conceptions and methods in enterprise management and use data envelopment analysis to exclude the influence of different basic conditions of undergraduates. These undertakings are of great importance to truly reflect undergraduates' effective progress degree, guide them to test and evaluate themselves correctly and to advance comprehensive quality continuously.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(9):662-666
Objective:To detect differentiallyexpressed microRNAs (miRNAs)in plasma of schizophrenia and explore biomarker for diagnosis of schizophrenia. Methods:The discovery cohort tincluded 6 patients with schizophrenia meeting diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disor-der,Fourth Edition (DSM-IV),as well as 6 healthy control subjects, whose age and gender were matched to pa-tients.The expression of 754 miRNAs (Sanger human miRBase v14)in the discovery cohort was investigated by Taqman Array (Human MicroRNA A +B Cards Set v3.0).Then the quantitative reverse-transcription polymor-phism chain reaction (qRT-PCR)assay was conducted to validate differentially expressed miRNAs in an independ-ent replication cohort, which included 25 schizophrenia patients and 18 healthy control subjects. The student's t-tests were used to analyze the differential expression of miRNA between schizophrenia patients and controls. All analyses were performed in Significance Analysis of Microarrays (SAM)software. Results:Twenty down-regulated miRNAs were observed in discovery cohort.Four miRNAs,hsa-miR-15b-5p were down-regulated in both discovery and rep-licated cohorts. Conclusion:The present study suggests that aberrant expression of miRNA might be of potential im-portance as biomarkers in the diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Objective To repair the experimental femoral head necrosis with the implantation of tricalcium phosphate (TCP) loaded with human bone morphogenetic protein-2(hBMP-2) gene transfected bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs). Methods Established the animal models of femoral head necrosis in 22 goats by the ligation of the lateral and medial circumflex femoral arteries and delivery of liquid nitrogen into femoral head. 4 goats served as the control group without any treatment. 3 weeks after surgery, necrotic bone in the other 18 goats were removed and TCP loaded gene transfer cells were implanted into the femoral head with BMP-2 gene transfected BMSCs in right side and ?-gal gene transfected BMSCs in left side. BMP-2 concentrations in femoral head were tested by the ELISA at 1st, 2nd, 3rd week after implantation. Histological observation was done before and at 6th, 10th, 16th week after implantation. New bone volumes (NBV) were measured at 16th week after implantation by the histomorphometry method. X-ray was taken at 16th week after operation in untreated group and after treatment in BMP-2 group and ?-gal group. Results The concentration of BMP-2 in femoral head of BMP-2 group was higher than that of ?-gal group at different time point. Empty lacunae and fibrotic marrow were demonstrated before implantation. New bone was evident in the implantation field of BMP-2 group while fibrous tissues were evident in that of ?-gal group at 6th, 10th and 16th week after treatment. Histomorphology analysis indicated that the NBV in BMP-2 group was significantly higher than that in ?-gal group. Articular surface collapse were observed in the X-ray photograph of untreated group. Regular shape and normal density of femoral head in BMP-2 group compared with the irregular shape and low density of femoral head in ?-gal group could be demonstrated in the X-ray photograph 16 weeks after treatment. Conclusion Implantation of the TCP loaded with human BMP-2 gene transfected BMSCs could repair early-stage experimental femoral head necrosis.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(10):-
Objective: In order to search the credible parameters of evoked potentials (EP) for the depth of anesthesia. Method: The end-expiratory concentration of isoflurane was increased gradually from 0.2MAC by step of 0.1MAC in each of ten volunteers. The change of EP and the consciousness were observed at every end expiratory anesthetic concentrations. The explicit and implicit memories about intra-experiment events were investigated an hour after stopping inhalation of isoflurane. Result: The explicit memory disappeared at 0.2 and 0.3MAC of isoflurane without the stimulation of pain; The response to command disappeared at 0.3 and 0.4MAC; 0.4MAC of isoflurane could not vanish implicit memory in all subjects. The latencies of waves Pa and Nb of the MLAEP and P_(25) of the SEP prolonged gradually with increased concentrations of isoflurane in a linear relationship, and varied with the changes of response to command. The latency corresponding to the partial response increased significantly compared with that to the full response, but without difference between the partial and no response. Meanwhile the latencies of waves Pa, Nb and P_(25) increased significantly with the disappearances of explicit and implicit memory, without differences between the conscious and unconscious awareness. The critical values of latencies about those waves which could be applied to assess the disappearance of explicit memory, were defined. Conclusion: The disappearance of consciousness is not all-ornone but gradual. The sequence of disappearance about consciousness is explicit memory, response to command, then implicit memory. There is no explicit memory about stimulation of pain after response to command has vanished, but implicit memory may still exit. The waves Pa and Nb of MLAEP and the wave P_(25) of SEP may be regarded as important parameters to evaluate the depth of anesthesia about consciousness.
