1.Delta-like ligand 4 and tumor treatment
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(5):352-354
Up-regulation of DLL4 contributes to the angiogenesis in malignant tumors, and thus promote tumor growth. While down-regulation of DLL4 would cause antiangiogenesis and restrain tumor growth through forming a large number of no-function blood vessels. Thus it can be used in anti-VEGF tolerant tumors. Recently, DLL4 monoclonal antibody agents have entered clinic studies, and has achieved good curative effect in anti-VEGF tolerant tumors, but there are also some side effects. DLL4 would bring higher clinic value for cancer therapy if the side effects can be prevented effectively.

Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2017;37(2):108-110
There has been a growing number of prostate cancer patients in our country, and most of the patients suffer with bone metastases.Although more and more new drugs are reported for the treatment of prostate cancer, tumor local recurrence or metastasis occur within the 10 years after treatment. The diagnostic sensitivity of 18F-NaF PET/CT for bone metastases from prostate cancer is high.18F-NaF PET/CT not only can locate the lesion precisely, evaluate the drug efficacy quantitatively, but also can be used to follow up prostate cancer patients. This review is focused on the application of 18F-NaF PET/CT in bone metastases from prostate cancer.
4.Research progress in role of nuclear factor E2-related factor2 in regulating development of cirrhotic portal hypertension
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2015;21(2):137-140
Cirrhotic portal hypertension is associated with both increased intrahepatic vascular resistance and hyperdynamic circulation. These two pathogical changes of portal hypertension can be contributed to the unusually high or unusually low levels of vasodilator in liver and splanchnic organs.Vascular hyporesponsiveness due to reactive oxygen species is also a key factor which accounts for portal hemodynamic abnormalities.Transcription factor nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2),known by its role in anti-oxygenation,can initiate and enhance transcription of antioxidant response element (ARE) when exposure to oxidative stress occures.Related influence on expression of nitric oxide, carbon monoxide and their coenzymes has also been demonstrated for decades. The potential clinical significance will be unfolded if changes of Nrf2 expression,as well as the way modulating Nrf2,are found in cirrhotic portal hypertension.

Objective To investigate graduating nursing students′expected pressure, stress levels, nursing identification degree and their influence factors, provide a reference for hospitals and schools to enact measures to reduce pressure and improve nursing identification degree. Methods It was a cross-sectional survey. Three hundred and sixty- one graduating nursing students were selected and investigated by graduating nursing students′expected work pressure and expected resources before starting a career. Results Graduating nursing students′expected stress score was (2.13±0.53) points, nursing identification degree score was (2.57±0.57) points and they were both at median level and effected by several personal internal and external factors. Nursing students expected getting help from hospitals, schools and interpersonal aspects before starting a career. Conclusions Excepted stress and nursing identification degree are influenced by kinds of factors. Hospitals and schools should know about their expected requirements and enact measures to reduce pressure and improve nursing identification degree in time to keep nursing talent.

International Eye Science 2014;(12):2176-2178
As one of the serious complications of diabetes, diabetic retinopathy( DR) has become a main eye disease which causes blindness. The occurrence and development of DR is related to many factors. The pathogenesis is complicated, and the mechanism has not been clear. Early data suggest that the occurrence and development of DR has relations with many factors such as blood sugar level, diabetes duration and the environment. Among the factors, mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress is the important mechanisms of DR and has become research focus in recent years. Consequences of mitochondrial dysfunction within cells include elevation of the rate of reactive oxygen species( ROS) production due to damage of electron transport chain proteins, mitochondrial DNA ( mtDNA ) damage, and loss of metabolic capacity. Clear understanding on the mechanism of mitochondrial functional change under high sugar level and oxidative stress response in the occurrence and development of DR is of great significance on prevention and cure of DR. ln this article, the development of mitochondrial metabolism and oxidative stress of DR is reviewed.

Objective To assess the accuracy and safety of inserting K-wires by a spinal minimally invoive robot system into cattle spines. Methods With a program shown on the screen of a C-arm fluoroscopy system,194 nails were placed ino 17 cattle spines by a spinal minimal invasive robot system which had been developed jointly by Shenyang Institute of Autmation Chinese Academy of Sciences and our institute.Radiation frequency, radiation exposure time, operation time and deviation of drills were recorded and analyzed. Results The mean deviation in the lateral projections by the spinal minimally invasivc robot system was smaller than in the anteroposterior projections. In lateral projection, the deviations within 1 mm,2 mm and 3 mm accounted respectively for 91.6%,99.5% and 100%.In anteroposterior projection.the deviations within 1 mm,2 mm and 3 mm accounted respecrvely for 71.1%,89.6% and 94.8%.The mean drilling time, the mean radiation frequency and the mean radiation time per hole by the robot system were respectively 420 seconds (from 330 to 577 seconds),13 times (from 8 to 21 times) and 9 seconds (from 8 to19 seconds). There was a learning curve in mastering the system.Training for a period of time made the accuracy within 2 mm in both lateral and anteropsterior films 95.6% of the deviations in lateral films and 92.1% of the deviations in anteroposterior films were less than one mm. Conclusions Operators of the spinal minimally invasive robot system can avoid intraoperative X-ray radiation. The flexibility and accuracy of the system can completely satisfy the clinical needs of spinal surgeons, but there must be a learning curve.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
AIM To analyze the effects of glycyrrhetic acid (GA) on c-fos expression and cell proliferation in rat vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC), and to figure out the mechanisms of binding GA to angiotensin Ⅱ(AⅡ) receptor. METHODS Primary cell culture of rat VSMC, Northern blot, TdR incorporation DNA assay and MTT assay were used in this study. RESULTS ① GA at both low (1?10 -9 mol?L -1) and high concentration (1?10 -5 mol?L -1) quickly induced c-fos expression in VSMC. Sar-AⅡ(1?10 -5 mol?L -1)inhibited both GA induced and AⅡ (1?10 -5 mol?L -1) induced c-fos expression. GA enhanced AⅡ induced c-fos expression at both low and high concentration in VSMC. ② Low level of GA stimulated the proliferation of VSMC. This stimulatory effect decreased with increasing GA concentration, and changed to be inhibitory at high concentration of GA. Not only did Sar-AⅡ eliminate the stimulatory effect of low concentration of GA on cell proliferation, it also eliminated the inhibitory effect of high concentration of GA. Low concentration of GA enhanced the stimulation of AⅡon cell proliferation, while the inhibitory effect of high concentration of GA on cell proliferation was relieved by adding 1?10 -7 mol?L -1 AⅡ. CONCLUSION This study suggests that GA activates transcription factor c-fos and promotes the proliferation of VSMC. GA may exert its effects on cells through AT 1 receptor since it induces similar changes as AⅡ and its effects can be inhibited by AT 1 receptor antagonist.
