Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The innervation of sino-atrial node in 5 dogs demonstrated by Faworsky's silver impregnation technique was studied and the results were summarized as follows: 1.On the basis of observation under microscope,two-third of the area adjacent to the suleus terminalis was found to be occupied by the main part of the sino-atrial node in the dog. 2.The nerve ganglia in the sino-atrial node and its peripheral zone were distingu- ished in two groups. 1)The Subepicardial group,i.e,the nerve ganglia of the peripheral zone around the node:It consists of the superficial and profund groups. Most of the nerve ganglia are present close to the sulcus terminalis and become less in number as approaching the cava- auricular angle. The largest nerve ganglion comprising of 30 cells could be seen with naked eye on the section, and the smaller ones are those with individnd cells. 2)Peripheral group around the artery,i,e the nerve ganglia within the node:They were situated around the sino-atrial artereis adjacent to the sulcus terminalis.Occasionally two ganglia may appear in one visual field. They were scattered among the nodal cells and also among myocardial fibers between the sino-atrial node and the endocardium. The characteristics of the structure of the nerve ganglia in both groups were described. 3)The relation of the nerve bundles and the nerve ganglia was studied in detail. The authors presumed that both the parasympathetic postganglionic fibers and parasympa- thetic preganglionic fibers existed in the sino-atrial node.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the characteristic of clinical distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in lower respiratory tract infection. METHODS Bacterial culture of the lower respiratory tract samples collected from patients who were admitted from Jan to May 2008 was done. The bacteria identification and drug sensitivity tests were done by VITEK bacterium identifying and drug sensitivity analyzing system. RESULTS A total of 502 pathogens were isolated,in which 340 strains of Gram-negative bacteria(67.7%),32 strains of Gram-positive cocci(6.4%)and 130 strains of fungi(25.9%).Of all the 372 strains of bacteria, the most common pathogens in turn were Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli,respectively.Non-fermenters were the dominant pathogens in intensive care unit(ICU)and the surgery wards,Enterobacteriaceae and fungi were the dominant pathogens in the non-operation wards.Of A.baumannii strains, the antibiotic resistant rates to imipenem and meropenem were 7.5% and 8.8%,respectively,the resistant rates to the other antibiotics were high(53.8%-100.0%,respectively).Of P.aeruginosa strains, the antibiotic resistant rates to imipenem, meropenem, polymyxicn E,ciprofloxacin, amikacin, tobramycin and gentamicin were 11.1%-27.0%,respectively,The resistant rates to the other antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins and the complex antibiotics containing ?-lactamases inhibitor were 38.1%-100.0%.The ESBLs-producing rate of K.pneumoniae strains(71.7%)was higher than that of E.coli strains(29.1%).K.pneumoniae strains and E.coli strains were all sensitive to imipenem and meropenem, and both of their resistant rates against amikacin were the same(10.9%),but against the other antibiotics the resistance of E.coli strains were more serious than that of K.pneumoniae strains. CONCLUSIONS In our area,non-fermenters are mainly isolated from ICU and the surgery wards.Enterobacteriaceae and fungi are mainly isolated from the non-operation wards. The major pathogens show multi-drug resistance except imipenem, meropenem and amikacin. It′s important to prevent hospital acquired lower respiratory tract infection during the clinical therapy, and it is urgent for rational use of antimicrobial agents according to the results of antibiotics susceptibility tests.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2010;34(5):323-325
This paper introduces how TiO2 film was prepared on pure titanium by anodic oxidation. Surface morphology and composition of the oxide film were analyzed by SEM coupled with EDAX. The deposition ability of hydroxyapatite of the anodized titanium in simulated body fluid (SBF) at 37 degrees C was evaluated. The results indicated that the oxide film was rough and honeycomb holes, connecting with each other, could be found on the surface. The holes with the diameter of 1-2 microm were distributed uniformly, which was typical for anodic oxidation. After alkaline treatment, hydroxyapatite deposition on the oxidized specimens in SBF was improved significantly.

As one of the important founders of GAO's acupuncture academic school in YanZhao area, Professor GAO Yuchun 's experience of acupuncture for headache is summarized in this paper. In the opinion of Professor GAO, the treatment of headache should focus on eliminating evil and relieving pain, and the syndrome differentiation should be based on meridian differentiation, especially on three yang meridians of foot as well as liver meridian and kidney meridian. In the acupoint prescription, attention should be placed on strengthening the spleen and stomach. The midnight-midday ebb flow acupuncture is advocated. The combination between acupuncture order and movement of qi is emphasized. In the manipulation, the role of pressing hand, the stimulation during reinforcing and reducing methods, and needle-retention time are important. The breathing reinforcing and reducing method of acupuncture are also advocated.

Objective To discuss anatomical characteristics and clinical results of the lateral superior genicular artery perforator iliotibial band flap. Methods From September 1999 to July 2009, the origin, course, branches and distribution of the lateral superior genicular artery and blood supply of iliotibial band were observed on 40 sides adult lower limbs perfused with red latax. Five perforator iliotibial band and 4 perforator iliotibial band flaps of 9 cases were treated with anastomosis of lateral superior genicular artery perforating rami. Results The lateral superior genicular artery of 35 cases (80%) originates from the popliteal artery. Its originated external diameter was (1.8 ± 0.4) mm. It divides into ascending branch and descending branch, and they gives off septofascio-cutaneous perforator, or anatomoses the lateral uppermost genicular artery in the vastus lateralis muscle, and then formes the musculocutaneous perforator of iliotibial band. The originated external diameter of the larger perforator of iliotibial bands was ( 1.0 ± 0.2) mm and they provides for the skin and iliotibial band of lateral superior genicular area. Nine cases, including 5 cases of simple Achilles tendon defects, two cases of achilles tendon defects with skin defects, and 2 cases of lower extremity and foot soft tissue defects were treated with transplantation of the vascularized iliotibial band (flap) with perforator vascular anastomoses. All cases were followed up 6 - 92 months. The results showed significant improvement in "heel test" and Thompson sign in the rerupture of the Achilles tendon occurred. Four perforator iliotibial band flaps survived well. Conclusion The lateral superior genicular artery perforator iliotibial band flap is a practical, simple and new donor in the reconstruction of soft tissue and composite defects.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2011;28(5):968-1000
We coated a thin TiO2 film on the surface of Ni-Ti shape memory alloy by activated sputter method in the present work. The blood platelet adherence and antithrombogenicity of the TiO2-coated Ni-Ti alloy were evaluated. The results showed that the platelets on the TiO2-coated Ni-Ti alloy were fewer than those on 316L stainless steel, and no agglomeration or distortion for the platelets on the coated alloy was found, which means less probability of blood coagulation for the alloy. The coagulation time on the coated Ni-Ti shape memory alloy was longer than that on the 316L. Compared with that on the 316L stainless steel, the TiO2 coated Ni-Ti shape memory alloy showed better blood compatibility, indicating that the Ni-Ti alloy with TiO2 coating is a kind of ideal biomedical materials with high clinical value.

To introduce professor Gao Yuchun's clinical experience and treating characteristics of facial paralysis treated with acupuncture and moxibustion. Professor Gao pays attention to yangming when he selects acupoints for clinical syndrome, and directs acupoints selection based on syndrome differentiation in different levels of jingjin, meridians and zangfu; he praises opposing needling technique and reinforcing the deficiency and reducing the excess highly; the acupuncture manipulation is gentle, shallow and slow for reducing the healthy side and reinforcing the affected side, and through losing its excess to complement its deficiency; besides, he stresses needle retaining time and distinguishes reinforcing and reducing. Facial paralysis is treated with key factors such as acupoints selecting based on yangming, acupuncture manipulation, needle retaining time, etc. And the spleen and stomach is fine and good at transportation and transformation; the meridians is harmonious; the qi and blood is smooth. The clinical efficacy is enhanced finally.
