Magnetic nanoparticles mediated hyperthermia, as a new kind of tumor therapy, promotes tumor hyperthermia to targered localization and precise control. In recent years, researchers stvdy deeply on surface modification of magnetic nanoparticles, combination with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, as well as clinical application, at the same time, researchers find that superparamagnetic ferrite nanoparticles after obtai-ning water-soluble by surface modification, can be as the MR imaging agent. Magnetic nanoparticles both for tumor diagnosis and treatment, will further promote tumor therapy to a more safe and effective direction.

Objective The current study was designed to find out the effect of Glucosidorum Tripterygii Totorum(GTT) on the serum level of soluble interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R) in patient with ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Method 29 patients with active AS were selected to take GTT(1mg per kg) three times a day for one year.After that,its curative effect was evaluated.The serum level of sIL-2R of these patients was measured by sandwich ELISA method and was compared with that of normal subjects.Result The serum level of sIL-2R in active AS patients was obviously higher than that of the non-active AS patients.(P<0.01).The total effective rate of GTT on AS was 89.6％,while clinical relief rate 27.6％,obvious effective rate 44.8％,effective rate 17.2％ and non-effective rate 10.4％.The patients' serum level of sIL-2R after therapy was significantly lower than that before therapy except patients with no effect.(P<0.05).Conclusion GTT has positive curative effect on active AS patients and could cause obvious decrease of the serum level of sIL-2R.The serum level of sIL-2R can be used as an important index of activity of AS and as a guide of therapy.

Methods Totally 30 three-week-old female SD rats were randomly divided into control group(fed with corn oil),exposed group A (feeding NP100 mg / kg ),exposed group B (feeding NP 50 mg/kg+ BPA 200 mg/kg ),treatment group A (NP 100 mg/kg + ZYXHR),treatment group B (NP 50 mg/kg+ BPA 200 mg/kg + ZYXHR). After 15 days of treatment,the uterine weight gain and PCNA protein expression were detected. Objective To develop a model of inflammatory bowel disease in rats induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid(TNBS).Methods Fifty Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups:model,mock model and normal group.2% TNBS,50% ethanol and physiological saline were administered per-rectum to each of the three groups,respectively.Feces,psychosis and appetite were observed,body weight and food eaten were recorded daily.Rats were killed after 3,6 and 14 d,and the colons were isolated and histological findings were examined.Results On the first day,rats in the model group had loose and bloody stools,and the symptoms lasted for about 8 days.Body weight and food eaten were markedly decreased for 7-10 days.Obvious pathological changes in the colon were observed on third day and heavier on sixth day,characterized by mucosal necrosis and transmutable inflammation.In the mock model group,the rats had loose stools on first day,and recovered on second day.Light pathological changes were found on third day.In the normal group,no pathological changes were found in colon.Conclusion Rats treated with TNBS showed obvious characters of inflammatory bowel disease,which could be used as a model in study on etiopathogenesis and evaluation effects of medicines.

ObjectiveTo measure fetal lung volumes in different gestational age (GA) by using 3D ultrasound,and further to obtain the regression formula between fetal lung volume and GA.MethodsTotal 228 fetal lung data had been collected.By using the 3D reconstruction function in Philips Qlab,fetal lung volumes were obtained by subtracting the non lung volumes from the whole thoracic volumes.For each slice of 3D data,thoracic area and non-lung area were manually outlined.The contour stacking technique in Qlab was then used to transform 2D slices into 3D volumes.ResultsThe measurement results of total 228 cases indicate that the fetal lung volumes increase with the GA.The average lung volume at GA of 20 weeks was 8.85 cm3,and 70.5 cm3 at 36 weeks.The fetal lung volume increases about 3- 4 cm3 in each week,and the increasing trend turns to a little lower after 24 weeks.During 33 to 34 week there was a great increasing in fetal volumes.Second-order regression,exponential regression and logarithmic regression were respectively used to characterize the relationship between fetal lung volume and GA.The second-order regression formula was:Volume =39.52 - 4.48 × GA + 0.149 × GA2.The exponential regression formula was:Ln (Volume) =- 8.233 + 1.747 × Ln(GA2 ).The logarithmic regression formula was:Ln(Volume) =- 2.413 + 0.29× GA- 0.003 × GA2.The correlation coefficients of three formulas are equal,with r =0.99,P ＜ 0.001.Conclusions 3D ultrasound fetal lung volume measurement is useful for fetal lung maturity assessment and thus can provide important referential information for prenatal diagnosis.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility,safety,and efficacy of endovascular repair combined with second-stage surgical debridement for ruptured femoral pseudoaneurysms (RFP).Methods All patients who underwent emergency repair of an RFP in our institution between 2009 and 2013 were identified.Case notes were retrieved for clinical data.Results Seven patients were identified.All the patients were treated with emergent percutaneous stent-graft implantation and secondary surgical debridement.The procedure time was (55 ± 6.32) min,blood loss was (93.33 ± 25.03) ml,hospital stay was (9.5 ± 0.84) d,and no postoperative complications occurred.Conclusions stent graft implantation for the treatment of RFPs is safe and effective in short-or middle-term outcome.It is an alternative for RFPs and may be the better option,which makes the secondary surgical debridement feasible and viable.

Objective:To establish a quality control method for Shuangshengen capsules ( Salvia miltiorrhiza, Panax ginseng and Radix pueraria) . Methods:TLC was performed to identify Salvia miltiorrhiza, Panax ginseng and Radix pueraria. HPLC was used to determine the contents of puerarin and ginsenoside Rg1 . Results:The spots obtained from the test solutions had the same color as the reference solution at the same position. The spots on the TLC plates were clear without any interference. The calibration curve was line-ar within the range of 14. 42-115. 36 ng for puerarin, and the average recovery was 99. 94%(RSD=0. 13%, n=5). The calibration curve was linear within the range of 0. 1-0. 8 μg for ginsenoside Rg1, and the average recovery was 99. 85%(RSD=0. 42%,n=5). Conclusion:The method is reliable, simple and reproducible, and suitable for the quality control of Shuangshengen capsules.

Objective To explore the value of carcinoembryonic antigen ( CEA) and cancer antigen 153 ( CA153 ) in detecting tumor recurrences and to establish the optimal operating point of diagnosis of recurrences in HER-2 overexpressing breast cancer using ROC curves .Methods A total of 127 HER -2 overexpressing breast cancer patients was enrolled into this study and subdivided into two groups ,the recurrence group and the non-recurrence group .We created a ROC curve and found out the optimal operating point .Then we compared the advantage of detecting recurrences between optimal operating point in the ROC curve and the diagnostic point that we usually used .Results The recurrence groups showed significantly higher CEA and CA 153 levels than the non-recurrence groups(P<0.0001).The area under the curve(AUC)of the CEA and CA153 were 0.752 and 0.820 respectively and the optimal operating point were 3.5 ng/mL and 17.89 U/mL,respectively.The sensitivi-ties of the optimal operating point of CEA and CA 153 were 46.15%and 65.38%respectively,and the specifici-ties were 97.33%and 89.33%, respectively.Conclusion CEA and CA153 process medium value for detecting recurrences in HER-2 overexpressing breast cancer .

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Luhuifangba burn cream and establish a method for its quality control.METHODS:The burn cream was prepared from freeze-dried powder of aloe barbadensis miller gel,borneol,hexadecanol,cosmolin,sodium dodecylsulfate,glycerol,ethylparaben and distilled water.Polysaccharide in the preparation was identified by paper chromatography,and borneol was identified by means of the color reaction between1%vanillin-sulfuric acid and bornyl alcohol and isoborneol.The content of polysaccharide in the cream was determined using anthrone-sulfuric acid method.RESULTS:The preparation was a cream in ivory white color,which spread easily and smelled slightly oily.Polysaccharide and borneol in aloe were able to be identified by the above-mentioned method.The linear range of polysaccharide was0.02～0.2mg/ml,and the average recovery was106.3%(RSD=2.5%).CONCLUSION:The preparation method is feasible,and the quality control method is simple,accurate,and reproducible.
