1.Effects of pomegranate flowers polyphenols on liver PON expression of diabetes combining non-alcoholic fat liver diseases rats.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2013;48(1):71-6
To investigate the protective effects and possible mechanism of pomegranate flowers polyphenols (PFP) on liver function of rats with diabetes combining non-alcoholic fat liver diseases, diabetes combining nonalcoholic fat liver disease model rats were established with high calorie feeding and small dose intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ). Model rats were randomly divided into: model group, metformin group, pomegranate flowers polyphenols low, medium and high dose group (75, 150 and 300 mg x kg(-1)). After four weeks treatment, the levels of FPG, blood fat profiles and serum insulin, ALT, AST levels, SOD and MDA in the liver and serum separately were analyzed with biochemical methods. Paraoxonase (PON1 and PON3) mRNA and protein expression in liver were checked by RT-PCR and immunohistochemical method. Pathological changes of the liver were observed. FPG, IRI, non-HDL-C and transaminase significantly reduced and HDL-C raised in the each PFP dose group; Furthermore, compared with model group, fat drops in liver cells significantly reduced, antioxidant ability enhanced, PON1 mRNA and protein expression level in liver increased significantly. The protective effects of PFP against diabetes combining non-alcoholic fat liver diseases rats might through the increase liver PON1 mRNA and protein expression further enhanced the body antioxidant capacity and reduced IRI so as to ameliorate the rat hepatic steatosis.

Objective To compare the efficacy of lamivudine and telbivudine combined with hepatitis B vaccine in blocking vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in pregnant women with HBV infection during late stage of pregnancy. Methods From January 2010 to December 2013,195 pregnant women with HBV infection who received prenatal examination and institutional delivery were enrolled and randomized into three groups based on random number table method, lamivudine group, telbivudine group and control group,65 cases in each group. The subjects in lamivudine group and telbivudine group orally took lamivudine 100 mg/d and telbivudine 600 mg/d respectively, from the 28th week of gestation to 1 month after delivery. The primary end point was HBsAg positivity of infants at 12 months of age. Results Serum lgHBV DNA level of mothers in lamivudine group was 3.7 ± 1.2,and in telbivudine group was 3.6 ± 1.5,in control group was 8.4 ± 1.7.The serum lgHBV DNA level of mothers in lamivudine group and telbivudine group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.01).HBsAg positivity rate of infants at 12 months of age in lamivudine group was 3.1%(2/65),in telbivudine group was 4.6%(3/65),and in control group was 15.4% (10/65).HBsAg positivity rate of infants at 12 months of age in lamivudine group and telbivudine group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Lamivudine and telbivudine are both effective in preventing vertical transmission of HBV for pregnant women with HBV infection in late stage of pregnancy, and further clinical study is required.
4.The clinical study of sequential therapy by intravenous fat emulsion and hemoperfusion in patients with severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(4):303-305
Objective To study the clinical effect of sequential therapy by intravenous fat emulsion and hemoperfusion in patients with severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. Methods Seventy-two patients with severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning were selected, and the patients were divided into sequential therapy group (36 cases) and conventional therapy group (36 cases) by random digits table method. All the patients were given conventional therapy including gastrolavage, purgation, fluid infusion, atropine, pralidoxime chloride, anti- infection, breath support and hemoperfusion. The patients in sequential therapy group were given intravenous fat emulsion before hemoperfusion. The clinical effect was compared between 2 groups. Results There were no statistical differences in the serum cholinesterase activity on admission and in the first day after treatment between 2 groups (P>0.05). The serum cholinesterase activities in the second, third and seventh day after treatment in sequential therapy group were significantly higher than those in conventional therapy group: (456.3 ± 45.6) U/L vs. (391.3 ± 39.8) U/L, (862.3 ± 96.2) U/L vs. (614.7 ± 78.5) U/L and (1950.9 ± 366.7) U/L vs. (1543.6 ± 285.9) U/L, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The total doses of atropine applied and length of stay in sequential therapy group were significantly less than those in conventional therapy group: (85.4 ± 36.2) mg vs. (104.7 ± 45.3) mg and (10.5 ± 4.2) d vs. (13.6 ± 6.2) d, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The recovery rate in sequential therapy group was significantly higher than that in conventional therapy group:97.2%(36/36) vs. 80.6%(29/36), and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusions Sequential therapy by intravenous fat emulsion and hemoperfusion can improve the serum cholinesterase activity, and decrease the total dose of atropine in patients with severe organophosphate pesticide poisoning.

Objective To observe the curative effect of acupuncture point bloodletting, flash tank combined with ultrashort wave auxiliary in the treatment of infantile cough. Methods 102 children with cough were selected and randomly divided into control group (50 cases)and observation group (52 cases). The control group adopted general anti -infection,reduce phlegm, the method of atomizing inhalation. The observation group received control method based on the acupuncture point thorn bloodletting, cans, combined with ultrashort wave. The clinical curative effect was compared in the two groups. Results In the treatment group,34 cases got cure, improvement in 17 cases, 1 case had no effect, the cure rate was 65.3%,total effective rate was 98.0%,without efficiency 1.9%.In the control group,18 cases got cure, improvement in 23 cases,9 cases of invalid, and the cure rate was 36.0%,the total effective rate was 82.0%,without efficiency was 18.0%.The total effective rate between the two groups had statistically significant difference (χ2 =4.105,P <0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture point bloodletting, flash tank combined with ultrashort wave auxiliary in the treatment of infantile cough can obviously improve the clinical effect.
10.A study of spatiotemporal visual modulation transfer function for diagnosis of early glaucoma
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(01):-
At 4Hz and 16Hz temporal frequencies and at a range of 3—37.8 cycles per degree (cpd) of spatial frequency which were divide into 12 grades, an instrument with a flickering sinusoid grate was used to measure the laser retina-visual cortex spatiotemporal visual modulation transfer function (S-TMTF) in patients with glaucoma. There were 34 cases (65 eyes) with early primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), 18 cases (31 eyes) with moderate or late glaucoma and 19 cases (37 eyes) with suspect glaucoma (SG). In 6 months. 16 patients of SG were followed. The results showed that in patients with early POAG, abnormal S-TMTF values might occur in low frequency region, the abnormal values tended to be general in the middle frequency region, and in the high frequency region all the S-TMTF values were significantly lower than that of the control. In cases with SG, lowering of S-TMTF was seen in many frequency points above 9.5 cpd, but did not found in regions below 9.5 cpd. The S-TMTF values at 16 Hz were lower than that at 4 Hz in each corresponding spatial frequency, and with aggravation of the disease, the greatest discrepancy value appeared to be shifting from high to low frequency points. In the follow-up period, an early glaucomatous visual field change occurred in a female case with ocular hypertension. It is demonstrated that the S-TMTF value is of high sensitivity for diagnosis of POAG, but it is difficult to screen the specific diagnostic frequency point and its critical value.
