This article explores the possible influencing factor and regular pattern of temperature rise induced by photo-thermal effect of gold nanorods when irradiated with near infrared region (NIR) laser. We used transmission electron microscope and UV-Vis-NIR spectrometer to characterize gold nanorods, then used 808 nm NIR laser with different power to irradiate the gold nanorods in different conditions and measured the temperature of the above solution. The higher the concentration of gold nanorods, the faster the temperature rose and the bigger its amplitude was. When the concentration of gold nanorods was fixed, the relation between power of laser and amplitude of temperature rise was linear. Temperature rise was also related to the shape of container. It could be concluded that amplitude of temperature rise of gold nanorods reaction system was related with concentration of the particles, irradiated power and shape of the container, so that we could control the temperature easily by regulating the irradiated power size of NIR laser in the experiments.

Objective To investigate the comfort condition and its influencing factors of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma underwent radiotherapy in ethnic minority areas so as to guide clinical nurses in providing the key nursing intervention. Methods A total of 200 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma from three class III grade A hospitals in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were surveyed using General Comfort Questionnaire (GCQ), Social Support Rating Scale and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire (MCMQ). Results The overall comfort level score of patients was (60.54±8.32). The number of radiotherapies, family company, literacy, medical coping mode (yield), whether accompanied by other diseases, with chemotherapy or not, and the utilization rate of support were influencing factors of the comfort level (β'=-0.326, -0.236, 0.184, -0.180, -0.169, -0.167, 0.144;P<0.05).Conclusions Medical staffs should encourage patients to use social support, take the initiative and positive coping styles, and pay more attention to patients with no family to accompany during mid-late radiotherapy, lower education degree, accompanied by other diseases or undergoing chemotherapy at the same time.

Purpose To explore the clinical value of iodine content and energy spectrum in dual-source dual-energy CT scan in the diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease reactive hyperplasia lymph nodes (LNs) and metastatic LNs in patients with colorectal cancer.Materials and Methods Complete dual energy scanning data of 51 reactive LNs in 30 patients with inflammatory bowel disease (15 cases of ulcerative colitis,15 cases of Crohn's disease) and 35 metastatic LNs in 20 patients with colorectal cancer confirmed by colonoscopy or pathology were collected and retrospectively analyzed. The iodine contents of reactive hyperplasia LNs and metastatic LNs were detected and the slopes of energy spectrum curves were compared between the two different pathological LNs.Moreover, the receiver operating characteristic curve was applied to determine the optimum sensitivity and specificity of differential diagnosis of these two kinds of LNs.Results The iodine contents of inflammatory bowel disease reactive hyperplasia LNs and metastatic LNs in patients with colorectal cancer in arterial phase were (2.66±0.70) mg/ml and (1.65± 0.81) mg/ml,and the slopes of curves were 2.81 ±0.56 and 0.14±0.09,respectively.There were significant differences in the iodine contents and the slopes of the energy spectral curves between these two kinds of LNs in arterial phase (P<0.05).Moreover,the diagnostic efficacy of energy spectrum curve slope,of which the sensitivity, specificity and area under the curve was 96.7%,76.7% and 0.846,respectively;was higher than those of iodine content in diagnosing inflammatory bowel disease reactive hyperplasia LNs and metastatic LNs.Conclusion Dual-source dual-energy CT-derived arterial phase measurement of iodine content and slope of energy spectral curve has certain significance for differential diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease reactive hyperplasia LNs and metastatic LNs,and the slope of spectral curve is superior to iodine.

Objective To study the current family function situation of patients with cervical cancer radiotherapy, and analyze its impact on cancer-related fatigue. Methods Using the quota sampling, 124 cervical cancer patients in the radiotherapy department were included in the study. The general information questionnaire, Family Assessment Device( FAD) and Fatigue Assessment Instrument( FAI) were used to survey. Results The patients with mild, moderate and severe family dysfunction accounted for 41. 9%, 32. 3% and 25. 8% respectively. Patients with light, moderate and severe cancer-related fatigue accounted for 31. 5%, 11. 3% and 57. 3% respectively. Pearson correlation analysis showed that family function dimension were negatively correlated with cancer-related fatigue (r=0. 336-0. 933,P<0. 01). The degree of cancer-related fatigue was the heaviest of patients with severe family dysfunction. Patients with mild, moderate and severe family dysfunction were statistically significant ( P < 0. 01 ). Conclusions Patients with cervical cancer radiotherapy have different degree of family dysfunction and cancer-related fatigue. The family function and cancer-related fatigue is closely related to each other. Medical staff must strengthen the knowledge learning of family function, understand cervical cancer family problems, target guidance of family members of patients care and support them. To some extent, we can prevent and reduce the cancer-related fatigue.
