To investigate the efficacy of acupuncture plus rehabilitation exercise in treating post-apoplectic dysphagia. Methods:The patients were randomly allocated into treatment and control groups. The treatment group was treated by acupuncturing points Fengchi(GB 20),Tianzhu(BL 10),Tongli(HT 5) and Lianquan(CV 23) plus rehabilitation exercises and the control group only by rehabilitation exercise. Results:The total effective rate was 95.0% in the treatment group and 71.9% in the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion:Acupuncture plus rehabilitation exercise can improve the curative effect on postapoplectic dysphagia.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of worsening renal function (WRF) in patients with chronic heart failure ( CHF) and WRF influence on prognosis. Methods A case-control study were undertaken to analyze independent risk factor statistically related to incidence of WRF, and to assess the influence of WRF on prognosis. Results The independent predictors of WRF were creatinine level at admission (OR 2.248,95% CI 1.088-4.647, P = 0.029) and NYHA class on admission ( OR 2.485, 95% CI 1.3854. 459, P = 0.002). The mortality of patient with WRF was obviously higher than that of control group during hospitalization( OR 3. 824,95% CI 2. 452-5. 637 ,P <0.015). Conclusions WRF is a common complication among patients hospitalized for CHF, and is obviously associated with mortality during hospitalization. Higher creatinine level and weak heart function are independent risk factors for incidence of WRF of patients with CHF.

Objective To detect the expression of genes Her-2/neu,DPC4 and P16 in pancreatic carcinomas and to investigate the role of their alterations in tumorigenesis and progression of pancreatic carcinomas. Methods We studied the immunohistochemical markers Her-2/neu,DPC4 and P16 in 34 adenocarcinomas and 12 nonmalignant specimens of the pancreas, and the relationship between DPC4 alterations and various clinicopathological parameters was evaluated. Results There was a significant difference between normal pancreatic tissues and benign pancreatic lesions and primary pancreatic carcinomas for frequency of Her-2/neu expression and loss of P16 expression(P

Objective To study the effect of TCM five-tone therapy on chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).Methods Fifty nine CFS patients were divided into the treatment group(n=30)and the control group(n=29),which received TCM five-tone therapy and common music therapy, respectively for 3 months. Both groups were assessed with fatigue Scale-14,depression status inventory and visual analogue scale.Result After treatment, the treatment group was scored lower than the control group in FS-14,DSI and VAS(all P<0.05).Conclusion TCM five-tone therapy may be more effective in decreasing the CFS patients with fatigue and depression and alleviating their pain symptoms.

Objective To discuss the effect of Quality Control Circle activity optimize Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing program in improving the recovery of gastrointestinal function after cesarean section. Methods In the management of applying QCC method to optimize TCM nursing program to promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function after cesarean section. The study was conducted on patients with cesarean section of the department of obstetrics and gynecology of shenzhen hospital of Guangzhou university of traditional chinese medicine (Futian). 36 cases of the control group were patients before the optimization of TCM nursing program by QCC on February 13-26, 2017, and 36 cases of the intervention group were patients after that on July 2 to 15, 2017. Before and after the QCC program, the time of postoperative of cesarean section patients' first anus exhaust, anal exhaust rate in 18 hours and lactation time were compared. The postoperative of cesarean section patients′first anus exhaust time, 18 hours anal exhaust rate and lactation time were investigated , and essential factors and really causes of the anal exhaust rate in 18 hours were analyzed, and a corresponding countermeasures were made. Results After TCM nursing program, the postoperative of cesarean section patients′ first anus exhaust time and lactation time were significant reduced (P<0.05);anal exhaust ratein 18 hours wasrise from 22.2%(8/36) to 86.1%(31/36). The patients after cesarean sectionwhose anal exhaust rate in 18 hours was increased significantly. The target success rate was as high as 116%, and the recovery rate was as high as 287.8%. Conclusions QCC activity optimize TCM nursing program can improve the recovery of gastrointestinal function after cesarean section. It enriched the connotation of TCM nursing programs, promote the implementation and standardizes the operation process of it. It also improved the clinical efficacy of TCM nursing program, and indeed promoted the patients′ gastrointestinal function after cesarean section, so that it is worthy of clinical application.

BACKGROUNDAttention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most commonly diagnosed psychiatric disorder in childhood. ADHD children with overlapping symptoms and signs of motor problems have more serious prognosis than that of children with ADHD only. However, the motor and sensory processing problems in children with ADHD have not been studied well. Few people adopt the technique of computerized dynamic posturography (CDP) in the study of ADHD, which is applied widely in clinical and laboratory research to objectively evaluate human's balance performance. This study aimed to assess the characteristics of postural control and sensory information processing of boys with two subtypes of ADHD by using CDP, so as to provide the proof for non-drug therapy of ADHD.
METHODFrom June 2003 to September 2004, a total of 73 boys (7-15 years of age) with ADHD and 73 normal developing boys matched by age and intelligence quotient from Peking University Institute of Mental Health were recruited in the study. The Sensory Organization Test was adopted to test the static balance performance under six sensory input conditions by SMART EquiTest 8.0 (NeuroCom) instrument. The sensory information from three sensory systems were available under condition 1, the visual inputs were removed or distorted under condition 2 or 3, the somatosensory inputs were in conflict with or without the visual inputs removed under condition 4 or 5, and both the visual and somatosensory inputs were in conflict under condition 6. The indexes of equilibrium score, somatosensory, vestibular, and visual ratios, and strategy scores were analyzed to indicate the subjects' postural control ability.
RESULTSADHD boys had significantly lower composite equilibrium score (CES) than the normal group (P < 0.05). Under condition 1 and conditions 3-6, the equilibrium scores (ES) of the ADHD group were significantly lower (all P < 0.05) than those of the control. Significantly lower visual and vestibular ratios and strategy scores under conditions 4-6 were found in boys with ADHD compared with the control group (P < 0.05). Boys of ADHD-predominantly inattentive (ADHD-I) type had a significantly lower CES and ES under conditions 4-6 than the controls (all P < 0.05) while the ESs of ADHD-combined type (ADHD-C) boys under each condition were similar with that of boys with ADHD-I and no significant difference was found between boys with ADHD-C and the control group (all P > 0.05). Compared with the control group, the ADHD-I boys showed significantly lower visual and vestibular ratios and strategy scores under conditions 4-6 whereas the ADHD-C boys showed a trend of lower visual ratio (all P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSADHD boys had a poorer static postural control ability and impaired function of processing visual and vestibular information compared with the normal control. Boys with ADHD-I showed particularly severe defect of static postural control and vestibular function integrating conflict information than normal boys. These deficits may be an important contributor to the clinical presentation of ADHD children and their cognitive deficits. Assessment and training of postural control function would be suggested during the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD children.
