1.Minimally invasive surgery treatment of Reinke′s edema on vocal cord
Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2001;8(2):78-79
Objective: The clinical experience of treatment in 38 patients of Reinke′s edema by surgery of minimally invasive was reported from June 1997 to December 2000. Methods: Thirty-eight patients (25 males and 13 females, ranging in age from 46 to 67 years old) with Reinke′s edema of vocal cord were diagnosed by frequency-flash-laryngoscope and pathologic. The bilateral vocal cord stripping surgery with micro-suspension laryngoscope under general anaesthesia was completed in all 38 patients. Results: After treatment 3 months to 1 year follow-up in 33 cases, 27 cases(81.8%) had acquired good voice and only 6 cases (18.2%) had acquired lower tone voice. Conclusion: None of them had vocal cord adhesive with bilateral vocal cord mucous stripping operation which remained anterior 1/2 parts of vocal cord mucous on one side.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(4):24-26
Purpose To observe the curative effect of electroacupuncture in treating depression. Method Two hundred and ten subjects were randomly divided into electroacupuncture group and medication group. Results and conclusion The results were evaluated by an international depression scale in both groups. After one-course treatment, the average score markedly decreased in both groups, and a t-test showed that there was a significant difference in curative effect between before and after treatment in each group ( P < 0.001 ); but there was no such a difference between the two groups (P > 0.05 ).Electroacupuncture can be compared favorably with amitriptyline, an antidepressant. However, taking amitriptyline will produce some side effects. Therefore electroacupuncture is especially suitable for those who cannot take medicine.

This paper analyzes and discusses the research advances of acupuncture in the treatment of childhood cerebral palsy from the perspectives of clinical treatment and its mechanism. Acupuncture has great advantages in the treatment of childhood cerebral palsy, however, there are methodological problems in current researches, clinical researches in particular. High-quality clinical researches should be conducted to improve clinical efficacy fully.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between fester capacity and clinical efficacy on allergic asthma treated by scarring moxibustion. Methods:The patients were randomly divided into scarring moxibustion 9-cone group,3-cone group and 6-cone group. The biggest area,scab-lost time,first-festering time and scarring time of moxibustion sore, and the clinical efficacy in each group was observed. Results:The biggest post-moxibustion sore area in 9-cone group was larger than that in 3-cone group, but had no difference in comparison with 6-cone group;the scab-lost time,first-festering time and scarring time of post-moxibustion sore in each group were of no difference. The clinical efficacy was better in 9-cone group than in 3-cone group, but had no difference in comparison with the 6-cone group. Conclusion:Fester capacity in treating allergic asthma by scarring moxibustion is related to the clinical efficacy and definite fester capacity is the key to good results on allergic asthma.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(15):1118-1121
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the effection of the pulmonary function of patients of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with asthma which treated with endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) based comprehensive treatment.
METHOD:
There were 50 cases of chronic rhinosinusitis with asthma whom met the study criteria. 35 cases enrolled in the tri al group, which treated with endoscopic sinus surgery, and routine perioperative tratment. Another 15 cases as control group which underwent conservative treatment. Both groups underwent the rule treatment of asthma. The main monitoring indexes, which included visual analogue scale (VAS) score, endoscopic Lund-Kennedy score, control of asthma symptoms, the pulmonary function which involved forced expiratory volume in first second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), the ratio of forced expiratory volume in first second and forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) and peak expiratory flow (PEF), were measured in the patients of each groups before surgery, follow-up for 1 year and 3-year.
RESULT:
Our study found that the VAS score of CRS with asthma was significantly negatively correlated with FEV1 and PEF (P < 0.05), endoscopic Lund-Kennedy score was significantly negatively correlated with PEF (P < 0.05); After the trial group underwent ESS based comprehensive treatment, the improvement of VAS score and endoscopic Lund-Kennedy score of postoperative compared with preoperative and the same period in the control group were significantly (P < 0.05). The difference of the postoperative asthma control rate of trial group after 1 year and after 3 years, respectively, compared with the same period control group were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The preoperative FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC and PEF of trial group compared with preoperative were significantly (P < 0.05). Even the difference of them compared with the same period control group were significantly (P < 0.05), except the FVC in the follow-up 3 years (P = 0.088).
CONCLUSION
The CRS may aggravate asthma symptoms and affect negatively the pulmonary function, and poor asthma control or aggravate may exacerbate the CRS in the course of CRS with asthma patient. With ESS based on combined therapy, it can improve the condition of CRS significantly and improve the control of asthma symptoms and pulmonary function else.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;25(6):1311-1318
This is a retrospective study aimed at the clinical application of 64-slice computed tomography angiography (CTA) in evaluation the lumen before and after coronary artery stent implantation. We collected the coronary artery imaging data of 46 patients undergoing 64-slice CT before coronary artery stent implantation from July 2006 through May 2007; we also collected the data of 21 patients with 34 coronary artery stents in the same period to determine the diagnostic accuracy of CTA before and after coronary artery stent implantation. The results showed that, in 46 patients, 64-slice CT enabled the visualization of the entire coronary tree with diagnostic image quality. Sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy for the detection of stenosis > or = 50% were 92.11%, 95.64% and 94.97%, respectively. In 21 patients with 34 stents implanted, 23 (67.65%) stents showed no stenosis, 8 (23.53%) stents showed low degree of restenosis, and 3 (8.83%) stents showed high degree of restenosis. In conclusion, we can accurately evaluate the degree of stenosis of lumen before and after coronary artery stent implantation with the application of 64-slice CTA.

Objective:To analysis the clinical characteristics of The clinical characteristics of using automated external defibrillation in the public place,To explore the feasibility and effectiveness of AED application in public places in China. Methods:From January 2014 to April 5, 2019, 54 cases of on-site emergency medical records of AED use in public places in China were analyzed retrospectively from three aspects: patient and AED user attributes, and AED clinical performance. Results:After field application of AED analysis, 54 patients did not have out of hospital cardiac arrest in 9 patients; cardiac arrest in 45 patients, cerebral resuscitation in 40 patients (88.9%), death in 5 patients (11.1%), one of them died in hospital. The accuracy of AED for defibrillation rhythm recognition and defibrillation recommendations was 100%. The success rate of shock to VF was 97.22%, and that of non pulse VT was 100%. The data shows that AEDs of different brands show clinical effectiveness in the core indicators of work. The operation level of the rescuer determines the critical time of AED shock, which is closely related to the prognosis of the patient ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:AED is reliable and effective in electric shock decision and performance. The overall efficiency of AED application can be improved by strengthening training, shortening the critical time of electric shock, rational configuration and effective management.
