For understanding the effect of MDG-1, a water-soluble β-D-fructan polysaccharide from Ophiopogon japonicas, on intestinal microecological balance, especially on the changes of lactobacillus, sixty 8-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were given a high-fat diet for six weeks and were also gavaged with saline once a day simultaneously. Then the mice which is below 30 grams or dropped more than 10% through lavage were eliminated and the rest were randomly divided into four groups: diet-induced obese (DIO) model group (n = 12, gavaged with saline), low-dose MDG-1 group (n = 12, gavaged with MDG-1, 75 mg · kg(-1)) , medial-dose MDG- 1 group (n = 12, gavaged with 150 mg · kg(-1)), and high-dose MDG-1 group (n = 12, gavaged with 300 mg · kg(-1)) according to the weight and blood glucose; the model group and MDG-1 group were placed on a high-fat diet while the normal control group (n = 12, gavaged with saline) were kept on a low-fat diet through the experiment. After 12-weeks of treatment, feces samples were collected and cultured for intestinal microecological balance analysis. Then the intestinal probiotics were cultured through traditional methods combined with modified gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) method. The changes of lactobacillus in each treatment group were also detected by a statistical analysis of the total number of the intestinal flora. We have established the phylogenetic tree by 16S rDNA sequencing and use some molecular identification methods such as PCR-DGGE to analyse the changes of the dominant bacteria floras, and also get the pure culture. In conclusion, different concentrations of MDG-1 can increase the number of the intestinal probiotics, especially Taiwan lactobacillus and Lactobacillus murinus, and improve their diversity and promote proliferation in a dose-dependent way.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(4):547-551
Objective:To evaluate the antimicrobial effect of ozonated water on the putative periodontopathic bacteria. Methods:Pophyromonas gingivalis (P.g)ATCC33277,Haemophilus actinomycetemcomitans (H.a)ATCC29522,Fusobacterium nucleatum (F.n)ATCC1 0957 and clinically seperated strain of P.g(C -P.g)were treated by ozonated water with ozone concentration(mg/L) of 0.03,0.06 and 0.1 2 for 30,60,90 and 1 20 s respectively. The bactericidal effect was tested by bactericidal assay.H2 O2 was used as the positive control and distilled water as the negative control. Results:The antimicrobial rate of ozonated water agaist the bacteria increased with the ozone concentration increase. There was no statistic diffrence of the effect on P.g and C -P.g(P >0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that the βvalues of the concentration factor were over 0.95,that of the time factor under 0.1 1 .Conclu-sion:The ozonated water has dose-dependent bactericidal effect on P.g,H.a and F.n.

Objective To assess the clinical effects and adverse reactions of different regimens of chemotherapies for elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer. Methods 95 elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into 3 groups. The regimens of OLF,OX and HCF were used to treat 38 patients,25 patients and 32 patients respectively. The short-term curative effects and side effects on tumor were gradeded according to the criteria formulated by WHO. The curative effects and adverse reactions were assessed and the time of disease progression was calculated at least 2 cycles after chemotherapy. Results The efficacy rate was 55.26%, 60. 00% and 53. 13% respectively, and statistical analysis showed no significant difference(P > 0.05). The time of disease progress was 23,30 and 24 weeks respectively, there were significant differences (P < 0.05). The major side effect were neutropenia, gastrointestinal reactions, and were able to be tolerated without a chemotherapy-related death. Conclusion Three regimens of chemotherapies had better curative effects and mild side effects for elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer, and could improve the quality of life of the patients, and are worth of clinical promotion.

Objective To assess the usefulness of spiral CT examination in detecting the local recurrence and the metastatic lymph nodes of chest in the patients with post-pulmonectomy for central lung cancer. Methods The data of 110 contrast spiral CT of chest in 55 patientswith central bronchial carcinoma post-operation were retrospectively analysed. Results 12 person-time in 9 cases recurred in thebronchial stump or anastomose. The short diameter of lymph nodes in the thorax ≥1 cm was showed in 33 person-time of 26 cases,of them,14 cases was considered as metastasis in combination with the clinical data. Conclusion Spiral CT is the one of the best examination indetecting the post-operation recurrence in the patients with central bronchial carcinoma, but it is still of limitation in evaluating the nature of lymph nodes.

Objective To optimize the best subculture cycle through studying the influence of subculture time on tube plantlet growth of Dendrobium huoshanense and the change of medium composition. Methods Height, tiller, fresh weight, and chlorophyll content of the tube plantlet and pH value, water content, and sugar content of the medium were measured after different cycles of the subculture, the cost of culture medium for subculture was calculated as well. Results The height of the tube plantlet increase 282.86%,the tiller increase by 3.5 times, fresh weight reaches its maximum, chlorophyll content of the tube plantlet almost reaches its maximum after 40 d subculture;while water content and sugar content of the medium are decreased to the lowest point,pH value of medium(

Objective To analyse the normal helical CT appearances of the bronchial stump or anastomosis after pulmonectomy for central bronchial carcinoma. Methods The available 110 contrast-enhanced spiral CT images in 55 patients undergone different surgical procedures for central bronchial carcinoma were evaluated retrospectively. Results The CT findings of bronchial anastomosis in shape appeared as smooth, concave and convex, sharp angle, obtuse angle, spininess, irregulated or short tube. The thickness of anastomosis was (3.26?1.46) mm.Conclusion Spiral CT can display the bronchial anastomosis clearly after pulmonectomy for central bronchial carcinoma.

0.05). In the group of pirenzepine, the RBF, velocity and volume significantly increased at 0.5 h and 1 h after injection compared with that before injection (P0.05). Conclusion These results suggest that pirenzepine could increase RBF and oxygen in blood with the peak time at 0.5 h and 1 h after intravitreous injection.

Objective To investigate the value of genotype detection for diagnosis of hepatitis B virus (HBV ) infection . Methods 433 HBV pattients from January 2011 to August 2013 were detected by PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization ;the DNA were assaied by PCR ;the HBeAg were tested by ELISA .Results Of the 432 HBV patients ,the rato of genotypes B (68 .13% ) was significantly higher than that of genotypes BC (5 .77% ) and of genotypes C(26 .10% )(P<0 .05);there were no significiant differ-ence in the copy of the HBV DNA among the various genotype (P>0 .05);HBeAg negative rate of genotypes B (23 .82% ) ,geno-types BC(14 .78% ) ,genotypes C(1 .42% )had statistically significant(P<0 .05);Genes associated with disease severity :the ratio of genotype B for patients with mild-to-moderate hepatitis B was 87 .20% ,the rato of genotype C was 9 .34% and genotype BC was 3 .46% ,while the ratio of genotype C was 77 .08% ,genotype BC was 14 .58% ,genotype B was 8 .33% in severe hepatitis B .Con-clusion The genotype of HBV is related to disease severity and the negative rate of HBeAg ,it is not associated with HBV DNA of HBV .
