Objective To explore the causing factors of radiocontrast-induced nephropathy (RCIN) after coronary angiography and the rule of hydratation. Methods 279 cases of coronary angiography were retrospectively analyzed, and the clinical features, basic renal function and volume of intra-venous fluid received on operation day between the patients with and without RCIN were compared. Results The total mortality rates of radiocontrast-induced nephropathy were 6.81%(19/279);in patients with hypertension, the RCIN rates were 8.65%(16/185);in patients with diabetic, the RCIN rates were 12.1%(12/99);in patients with preexisting renal dysfunction, the RCIN rate was 0%(0/16);the multifactor Logistic analysis showed that the factors causing RCIN were age, diabetic, the volume of intra-venous fluid, however, the factors such as gender, smoking, hypertension, coronary heart disease, chronic renal failure were irrelative with RCIN.Conclusion The incidence of RCIN in people over 60 years old is much higher.Such condition may be partly cansed by the decreasing renal reserve capacity.Sufficient hydration is an effective way to decrease RCIN.

Objective To investigate the effect of sodium ozagrel injection on hemorheology, endothelin (ET) and nitrogen monoxidum (NO) of patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSEMI). Methods A total of 81 NSEMI patients were divided randomly into two groups: control group and experimental group. Isosorbide mononitrate, low molecular heparin and simvastatin were administered in the control group while sodium ozagrel was added to the experimental group apart from the above-mentioned drugs. The clinical effect of sodium ozagrel was observed. The changes in the indexes of hemorheology, ET and NO were analyzed. Results The clinical effect was significantly better in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05). The level of ET was obviously lower after treatment than that in the experimental group and the control group before treatment (P<0.05). The level of NO was obviously higher after treatment than that in the experimental group and the control group before treatment (P<0.05). The changes of ET and NO in the experimental group post-treatment were more significant than those in the control group after-treatment (P<0.05). The level of hemorheology index after treatment was lower than that before treatment in the experimental group (P<0.05). High-shear rate of whole blood viscosity, platelet adherence rate, and fibrin as hemorheology indexes were lower after-treatment than those pretherapy in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Sodium ozagrel injection could affect hemorheology,ET and NO of patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction. Thefore, the therapeutic efficacy can be better if sodium ozagrel is added to the conventional therapy.

Objective:For the diagnosis of occult nasophargngeal carcinoma. Method:Epstein-Barr virus in 58 fine needle aspirations from cervical metastatic lymphnodes were detected with polymerase chain reaction. Result: The positive reaction was found in 28/35 metastatic carcinoma samples from middle or upside neck. Negative reaction was found in 3 lymphomas,4 metastatic carcinomas in clavicular superior lymphnodes and 15/ 16 inflammatory diseases of cervical lymphnodes. The sensibility of this method for the diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma was 89.3%. The specificity was 86.7%. Conclusion: The detection of Epstain-Barr virus in metastatic carcinoma from cervical lymphnodes had some clinical values for the diagnosis of occult nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the role of PI3K/AKT and ERK1/2 signaling pathways in the process of cardiomyopathy induced by doxorubicin(DOX).Methods Twenty SD rats were divided into two groups:DOX group(10 rats that were injected through caudal vein with 2.5 mg/kg DOX,once a week, for 6 weeks)and control group(10 rats). At 5th week after the end of DOX injection, the structural changes and functional damage were examined, and the apoptosis rate of cardiomyocytes and the expression levels of p-AKT and p-ERK1/2 were determined. Results Eleven weeks after the DOX injection, the myocardial pathological changes were mainly myofibrillar loss and cytoplasmic vacuolization.DOX could induce compensated heart function(the value of FS% was 34,P0.05)and Bax to 338%(P

Objective:To prepare compound mupirocin film forming gel and establish the quality control methods. Methods:The compound film forming gel was prepared using tannic acid and salicylic acid as the esterifying agents interacting with hydroxypropyl cel-lulose followed by cross-linking with tartaric acid and sorbitol to form a new film forming material, and then antimicrobial mupirocin and anesthetic dyclonine were added to prepare compound mupirocin film forming gel. The contents of mupirocin and dyclonine were deter-mined by HPLC. The column was Hypersil ODS2 (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm) and the mobile phase consisted of methanol-ammonium acetate buffer (1. 15 g ammonium acetate, 300 ml water, 1 ml glacial acetic acid) (75 :25). The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 and the detection wavelength was 230 nm. The column temperature was 30℃ and the injection volume was 20μl. Results:The film form-ing gel was yellow, brown and gelatinous at the normal temperature, and formed transparent film after coating on the skin. The linear range of mupirocin and dyclonine was 20-400μg﹒ml-1(r=0. 9999) and 10-200μg﹒ml-1(r=0. 9996), respectively. The aver-age recovery was 99.9%(RSD=0.54%, n=9) and 99.6%(RSD =1.45%, n =9), respectively. Conclusion: The preparation process is reasonable, simple and controllable in the preparation of ideal film forming gel.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(10):-
As a member of tyrosine kinases(TK) family,Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) has an activity of intrinsic protein tyrosine kinase, which plays an essential role in the regulation of signal transduction in the cells.Due to the abnormal expression of EGFR-TK,the certain type cancers may developed and progressed.Based on that, the inhibitors of EGFR-TK could be effective medicines for the treatment of cancer. The EGFR-TK domain was amplified by RT-PCR with RNA of HUVCEs cells as the template and expressed in E.coliBL21(DE3) using plasmid pET30a as vector. The recombinant protein was purified with the affinity chromatography(Ni-NTA),which was identified to have kinase activity catalyzing the substrate phosphorylated with ATP in the enzymatic reaction.Using the recombinant EGFR-TK as target, the screening model for enzymatic inhibitors was constructed.

Objective: To observe the rheological properties of octoxynol-9 vaginal thermosensitive in situ gel [(O-9)-VTG] for predicting the gelation behavior in vivo, and evaluate the retention ability in vagina. Methods: The rheological parameters of (O-9)-VTG and (O-9)-VTG diluted by stimulant vaginal fluid (SVF) were measured by a Haake Rheomix to characterize the rheological properties. The vaginal samples after the administration of self-made (O-9)-VTG and O-9 gel were withdrawn, and then the concentration of octoxynol-9 in the samples was determined to evaluate the retention ability. Results: (O-9)-VTG was Newtonian fluid with low viscoelasticity under room temperature and converted to gel at 32.6℃.The formula could still transform into gel at body temperature after diluted by SVF, and resided in the vagina of mice above 8 h.Conclusion: (O-9)-VTG has suitable gelation temperature and rheological properties.Compared with the self-made octoxynol-9 gel, (O-9)-VTG has satisfactory retention in vagina, which meets the requirements for vaginal topical use.
