1.Effect of the Integration of Humanistic Care Education With Nursing English Teaching-Taking Mudanjiang Medical University as An Example

Objective:To study the effect of nursing English teaching combining with humanistic care educa-tion. Methods:Six classes of nursing students of 2011 grade were chosen randomly by sampling as control and ex-perimental group. The control group used the traditional teaching method without humanistic care education. The experimental group combined humanistic care education with nursing English teaching. Nursing students' humanistic caring ability scale and self-designed questionnaire were used to compare the teaching effects of the two groups. Results:The humanistic caring ability of experimental group was higher than that of the control group ( P<0 . 05 ) . The experimental group gives high evaluation on the effect of nursing English combining with humanistic care edu-cation. Conclusion:Nursing English combining with humanistic care education helps to improve nursing students' humanistic concern consciousness and enhance their humanistic caring ability.
2.Effects of Aurora A silence by RNA interference on the apoptosis and proliferation of glioma cells

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of RNA interference on the expression of Aurora A in U251 cells, and the influence on proliferation and apoptosis of U251 cells. Methods The siRNA specific for Aurora A was synthesized and transfected into U251 cells in vitro. Aurora A mRNA expression and protein content were detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting respectively. The cell proliferation and apoptosis were observed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) and flow cytometry(FCM). Transmission electron microscope was used to observe the ultrastructural changes of U251 cells. Results After transfection, the expression level of Aurora A mRNA was significantly decreased(P<0.01), and the protein content of Aurora A was also obviously reduced. The inhibitory rate of cell proliferation reached up to 67.57% 72 hours after transfection, which was significantly higer than that of normal control group(P<0.01). The apoptosis rate of U251 cells was significantly increased from (3.69±0.87)% to (15.34±2.16)% (P<0.01). Under the transmission electron microscope, it was observed that the U251 cells showed typical morphologic changes of apoptosis after transfection, such as karyopyknosis, chromatin condensation and margination, intracytoplasmic vacuoles formed, and apoptotic bodies formed. Conclusion The expression of Aurora A gene can be inhibited by siRNA successfully, and it results in the suppression of cell growth and induce apoptosis of human glioma cells in vitro. Aurora A may become a new target for the gene therapy of gliomas.
3.Analysis of imageology appearance and clinical characteristics of the cystic and solid breast carcinoma

Objective To analyze imageology appearance and clinical characteristics of the cystic and solid breast carcinoma.Methods Features of MRI and B-type ultrasonic inspection of 26 patients with the cystic and solid breast carcinoma pathologically confirmed (15 patients with mucinous carcinoma,6 patients with intracystic papillary carcinoma,5 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the breast) were retrospectively reviewed.Results In terms of clinical appearance,the incidence of the squamous cell breast carcinoma with an average age of 70.1 years old was larger than in youth,while mucinous carcinoma with an average age of 67.7 years old and intracystic carcinoma of breast with an average age of 55.1 years old were contrary.The squamous cell breast carcinoma developed more quickly than mucinous carcinoma and intracystic carcinoma of breast.The squamous cell breast carcinoma often occurred around mammilla (4/5),while the mucinous carcinoma and intracystic papillary carcinoma often occurred upper outer quadrant of breast,which was similar with other breast cancer.The average size of 49.6 mm in the squamous cell breast carcinoma was largest than the average size of 25.1 mm in mucinous carcinoma and the average size of 35.2 mm in intracystic papillary carcinoma.The malignant degree of squamous cell breast carcinoma was higher than mucinous carcinoma and intracystic papillary carcinoma,which intended to occur lymph node metastasis and skin infiltration.The diagnosis probability of mucinous carcinoma was smaller than intracystic papillary carcinoma through preoperative puncture,while squamous cell breast carcinoma was larger.On the MRI imageology appearance,both types of breast cancer had the same shape of rotundity or lobulated.The tumors were low signal on T1WI and partially high signal on T2WI,which were circular enhancement after enhancement.However,the edge of mucinous carcinoma and squamous cell breast carcinoma was rougher than intracystic papillary carcinoma compared with squamous cell breast carcinoma.The bursa wall of mucinous carcinoma was more uniformity,while papillary soft tissue image can be found in intracystic papillary carcinoma,which was enhanced significantly after enhancement.In terms of ultrasonic sound (US),there were low echo signal and high echo signal on the back of tumor compared with other breast tumor.There were shadow beside mucinous carcinoma.Squamous cell breast carcinoma was rich in blood supply,while mucinous carcinoma and intracystic papillary carcinoma were opposite.Conclusion Histological type of cystic and solid breast carcinoma is complex,but the appearances of MRI and US have some characteristics.Histological type and the range of disease could be guessed through the combination of preoperative puncture and clinical appearance,which plays an important role in operation mode and treatment guidance.

6.Study on quality standard of Catechu and its extract

AIM: To study the quality standard on catechu and its extract. METHODS: HPLC was used to determine the contents of (+) Catechin and (-) Epicatechin in catechu and its extract; UV spectrophotometry was applied to determine the contents of active tannic acid in catechu and its extract. RESULT: The contents of catechin and epicatechin are 19.4 and 4.36g/100g in catechu, respectively, and catechin and epicatechin are 48.39 and 3.94g/100g in its extract respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is accurate and reproducible, providing the basis for quality control of catechu and its extract.
7.A case report of breast development as the first manifestation combined with 46, XY complete disorder of sex development

To report the process of diagnosis and treatment of 1 case with SRY gene mutation of 46, XY complete gonadal dysplasia, and to discuss the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.Due to clitoral enlargement for 8 months, a 9 years old girl was admitted to the Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine.Previously, she had early breast development, and suffered from high gonadotropin expression when she was 6 years and 4 months old.Physical examination: breast B3 stage, female vulva, clitoris hypertrophy, normal urethra, normal vaginal opening, slightly thick hymen ring, the development of pubic hair was 2 stages, and Prader score level 1.Laboratory data showed elevated levels of estradiol, testosterone, and human chorionic gonadotrophin.Genetic examination revealed that the chromosome karyotype was 46, XY and SRY gene detection was positive.Therefore, the patient was diagnosed with 46, XY complete gonadal dysplasia.Bilateral gonadectomy was performed, and the posto-perative pathological diagnosis was bilateral gonadoblastoma with left dysgerminoma.The tumor did not recur after che-motherapy.The etiology of early breast development needs to be carefully identified.Patients with sexual characteristics dysplasia need to accept the chromosome karyotype analysis and gene detection, and surgical exploration should be performed when necessary for a correct diagnosis as soon as possible.
8.FGFR1 selective inhibitor PD173074 can reduce proliferation and induce apoptosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE:
To study the influence of PD173074 on proliferation and apoptosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
METHOD:
With immunoblotting and RT-PCR, FGFR1 expression was detected in CNE, PONE1 and C666-1 cell lines. With MTT assay,the time-effect and dose-effect correlation between PD173074 and inhibition of CNE proliferation was evaluated. After PD173074 stimulation, the phosphorylation level of FGFR1 and AKT was detected with immunoblotting assay. Furthermore, influence of PD173074 on the activation of Caspase3 and Caspase9 was detected to study the underlying mechanism of why PD173074 could inhibit CNE proliferation.
RESULT:
FGFR1 has the highest expression in CNE cell line. Under incubation of 10 nmol/L PD173074 stimulation for 36 hours to 72 hours, the phosphorylation of FGFR1 and AKT was impaired significantly, which further reduced the proliferation of CNE. Moreover, PD173074 can activate the intrinsic apoptotic pathway by stimulating Caspase9,which activated Caspase3 and induced the apoptosis.
CONCLUSION
PD173074 could inhibit proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell through reducing the phosphorylation of FGFR1 and AKT. Additionally, PD173074 can induce CNE apoptosis by activating intrinsic apoptotic pathway via cleaving Caspase9 and Caspase3.

9.IN VITRO ANTI-ASPERGILLI ACTIVITY STUDY OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS OF CHINESE HERBS BY BROTH MICRODILUTION TESTING

To develop a method to estimate the anti-Aspergilli activity of active ingredients of Chinese herbs. With the broth microdilution testing procedure proposed by NCCLS, anti-Aspergilli activity of active ingredients ( cinnamalde-hyde, cinn. and citral) of Chinese herbs was determined.The MIC values of cinn. to Aspergillus flavus, A.fumigatus were 0.100?g /mL , 0.050?g/mL.The MIC values of citral to A. flaws, A.fumigatus were 2.600?g/mL, 0.650?g/ mL.These results demonstrate that citral and cinn. have high potency activity against Aspergillus spp. .The research may provide references to establishing a standard for evaluating the effect of anti-Aspergilli Chinese herbs.
10.Observation of implementing effectiveness of the self management program of chronic Keshan disease patients in Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan Province

Objective To evaluate the effects of the chronic Keshan disease's self-management in Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan Province. Methods According to "The Serf Management Program of Chronic Keshan Disease in Liangshen Prefecture of Sichuan Province", 56 chronic Keshan disease patients were selected in the personalized self-manngemant evaluation under the instructions by endemic disease specialists and the rural doctors. Evaluation was based on changes of indexes such as the clinical symptoms, general health conditions, the electrocardiogram, X-ray, the heart function, etc, before treatment and 3 and 6 months following the treatment. Results Clinical signs and symptoms of the patients were significantly improved 3 and 6 months after the treatment, and the improvement was more obvious 6 months than 3 months following the treatment(P<0.05 or< 0.01). After treatment for 3 months, the patients'electrocardingram and heart function did not show obvious change (X2=0.05,039, P0.05); hut obvious improvements Eexcept X ray results(X2=0.61 ,P0.05)] were seen 6 months after treatment (X2=4.36,16.84, P<0.05 or<0.01). Altogether, among the 56 patients evaluated after treatment for 6 months, none achieved the clinical cure standard, 26 cases(46.3%) showed significant improvement, 17 cases (30.4%) were stable, 5 cases (8.9%) were aggravated,one case (1.8%) lost contact, and 6 cases (10.6%) died. Conclusion The project of the chronic Keshan disease's self-management is suitable for the present situati,on of the endemic regions and can he introduced to many places in our country.
