1.Nursing and observation for patients with recurrent or refractory and aggressive non-Hodgldn's lymphoma by MINE regimen

Objective To report the clinical observation and nursing points for recurrent or refractory and aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma treated with MINE regimen. Methods Patients (46 cases) with recurrent or refractory and aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma were given mental nursing,preparation and evaluation of the condition of patients before chemotherapy. Complications especially extravasation of infusion fluid should be prevented during chemotherapy and myelosuppression and long-term complications should be prevented after treatment. Results No patient died after treatment but several complications such as infection(14 cases), nausea and vomiting (grade Ⅰ~Ⅱ, 22 cases, grade Ⅲ,2 cases), alopecia (grade Ⅰ~Ⅱ, 27 cases), mucositis (grade Ⅰ~Ⅱ, 4 cases), liver function lesion (grade Ⅱ, 1 case) were found and improved after proper treatment. No nephrotoxicity and hemorrhagic cystitis were found. Conclusions Selective mental nursing,proper chemotherapy preparation,evaluation of patients' condidtion and positively prevention of chemotherapy-related complications could increase the chemotherapy effect of patients with recurrent or refractory and aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
2.Expression and significance of miR-26a in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

Objective To study the expression and significance of miR-26a in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.Methods The expression of miR-26a in 46 intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC) tissues and peritumoral tissues was detected by quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction (qRT PCR).The intrahepatic eholangiocarcinoma cell line HCCC-9810 and RBE were transfected with miR 26a mimics and miR 26a inhibitors,respectively,by lipofectamine 2000.The growth curves were constructed by the CCK 8 method.The migration and invasion ability was demonstrated by wound healing and transwell assay.The cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry.The potential mechanism was illustrated by Western blotting.Results For the 46 ICC tissues and peritumoral tissues,miR 26a levels were significantly higher in the tumor tissues than in the peritumoral tissues (P<0.05).Vascular invasion,TNM Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage and lymph node metastasis were significantly associated with high miR 26a expression levels (P<0.05),but gender,age,tumor amounts,tumor encapsulation,tumor diameter and tumor differentiation showed no significant association (P>0.05).Enhanced cell proliferation,migration and invasion ability,accelerated G0/G1 phase to S phase transition,activated AKT by PTEN suppression were observed in HCCC-9810 cells with up regulation of miR-26a.Conversely,cell proliferation,migration and invasion ability was inhibited,G0/G1 phase was blocked and AKT was restrained by PTEN increase wkh down regulation of miR-26a in RBE cells.PTEN mRNA in versely correlated with the miR-26a level (r=-0.8272,P<0.01).Patients with a high miR-26a expression had significantly poorer overall survival (P<0.05).A high miR 26a exprcssion,multiple tumors and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors of overall survival (P<0.01).Conclusion Overexpression of miR-26a in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma correlated with clinicopath ological features and overall survival,and it potentially promoted tumor proliferation and metastasis through the PTEN/AKT pathway.
3.Protective mechanism of Yinchenzhufu decoction against cholestatic liver injury induced by lithic acid based on network pharmacology

Yinchenzhufu decoction (YCZFD) is a classic formula for treating Yin Huang syndrome, which can improve liver injury caused by cholestasis. However, the mechanism of action of YCZFD still remains unclear. This article used network pharmacology, molecular docking, animal experiments, and molecular biology methods to explore the mechanism of YCZFD in treating liver injury caused by cholestasis. A mouse model of acute cholestasis induced by lithocholic acid was used to investigate the effects of YCZFD on liver injury. The experimental procedures described in this paper were reviewed and approved by the Ethical Committee at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (approval NO. PZSHUTCM190823002). The results showed that YCZFD could reduce the levels of blood biochemical indicators and improve hepatocyte damage of cholestatic mice. Then, multiple databases were used to predict the corresponding targets of YCZFD active components on cholestatic liver injury. An intersection target protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks based on String database and Cytoscape software was used to demonstrate the possible core targets of YCZFD against cholestatic liver injury. 4.Analysis on morphological characteristics, photosynthetic characteristics and chemical constituents of Inula lineariifolia from different populations.

Twelve populations of Inula lineariifolia were used as materials to measure morphological characteristics, photosynthetic parameters and chemical constituents. It aims to provide a theoretical basis for germplasm resources evaluation. The results showed that I. lineariifolia had relatively rich morphological diversity, there were significant differences of morphological characteristics, photosynthetic parameters and chemical constituents among populations. There was positive correlation on morphological characteristics and P(n). Twelve populations were divided into three-type. The three populations of Xuyi, Mingguang and Fengyang were of narrower-longer leaf, bigger biomass,better photosynthetic and higher chemical constituents. Then they were classified for a similar group. It proved that the three populations were more suitable for cultivation and promotion.

5.Effect of partial foraminotomy after laminoplasty surgery on preventing C5 nerve root palsy

Objective To investigate clinical curative effect of partial foraminotomy after C4.5 ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL) on preventing C5 nerve root palsy.Methods A total of 155 patients with OPLL were treated with expansion open-door laminoplasty (EOLP) between January 2008 and October 2012,including 75 male patients and 80 female patients,with average age of 54.5 (ranging from 38 to 75).Among them,90 cases took EOLP (open team),and 65 cases took EOLP and C4.5 partial foraminotomy (incision team).Clinical curative effect and imaging evaluation were used in 8 weeks and 12 months after operation.JOA scores,JOA scores improvement rate,C5 nerve root palsy occurrence rate,neurological function of patients with C5 nerve root palsy and the prognosis,cervical curvature index,opening angular variation,backward drift distance of anterior margin and posterior margin of the spinal cord were evaluated after 8 weeks and 1 year after the surgery.Results The operation time was 90-140 min,with the average time of 110±14 min;mean bleeding volume was 160±45 ml (ranging from 100 to 250 ml);follow-up visit time was 15.4 months on average (ranging from 12 to 18 months).JOA score and improvement rate after 8 weeks and 1 year of the operation have no statistical significance.The C5 nerve root palsy occurrence rate in open team was 8.89% (8/90),while that in incision team was 4.62% (3/65).The difference of two groups has statistical significance.C5 nerve root palsy all happened in laminar opening side.Comparison of cervical curvature index of two groups before the operation and after 8 weeks of the operation and inter-group comparison have no statistical significance.The difference between laminar opening angle after 1 year of the operation and laminar opening angle after 8 weeks has no statistical significance.The difference of backward drift distance of anterior margin of the spinal cord at different time after the operation and inter-group difference have no statistical significance.The difference in backward drift distance of posterior margin of the spinal cord between 1 year after the operation and 8 weeks after the operation has no statistical significance.Conclusion Treating OPLL with EOLP and C4.5 partial foraminotomy can reduce occurrence rate of C5 nerve root palsy,but has no significant influence on JOA score improvement rate.
6.Protective effects of methylene blue on ischemia/reperfusion-induced mitochondrial injury in isolated rat hearts

AIM:To study the effects of methylene blue (MB) on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced mitochondrial injury in isolated rat hearts.METHODS:Spragure-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into 3 groups randomly (n=6): control group, I/R model group and MB treatment group (IR+MB group).The isolated rat hearts were prepared and set up to Langendorff perfusion.The rats in I/R+MB group received MB (2 mg/kg) by intraperitoneal injection 2 h before operation.The hearts in control group were perfused with K-H solution for 110 min consecutively.The hearts in I/R group and I/R+MB group were in equilibrium for 20 min, following by 45 min of global ischemia, and then reperfused for 60 min.The heart rate (HR), left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP), left ventricular pressure maximum change rate (±dp/dtmax) and left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP) were recorded.The perfusate was collected to determine the activity of creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH).The contents of reactive oxygen species (ROS), malondialdehyde (MDA) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the myocardial tissues were all determined.Histopathological examination of left ventricle was performed.The mitochondria from the heart tissues was isolated and the mitochondrial swelling and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) were analyzed.RESULTS:Compared with control group, the hearts in I/R group showed poorer function, higher CK-MB and LDH levels in the perfusate, increased ROS and MDA contents, higher SOD activity and less ATP content in the heart tissues (P<0.05).Furthermore, the mitochondrial swelling level increased and MMP reduced in I/R group (P<0.05).Compared to I/R group, MB improved heart function and reduced the release of CK-MB and LDH (P<0.05).MB also decreased ROS and MDA contents, and increased the activity of SOD and the content of ATP (P<0.05).In addition, MB alleviated mitochondrial swelling and restored the reduced MMP (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: MB protects the isolated rat hearts from I/R-induced injury by attenuating the damage of mitochondria.

9.Clinical observation on ankylosing spondylitis treated with acupoint catgut embedding combined vessel pricking therapy.

OBJECTIVETo explore the efficacy and safety of acupoint catgut embedding combined with vessel pricking therapy for ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
METHODSEighty-six cases of AS were randomly divided into an acupoint catgut embedding combined vessel pricking group (group A) and a medication group(group B), 43 cases in each group. In the group A, acupoint catgut embedding combined with vessel pricking therapy were applied at Shenshu(BL 23), Dazhu (BL 11) and Jiaji (EX-B 2) etc. The group B was treated with oral administration of Sulfasalazine (SASP). The treatment lasted for 8 weeks. Symptom score, Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), the indices of morning stiff duration, Schober test, occiput to wall distance, chest expansion, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-response protein (CRP) were compared before and after treatment between two groups.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the total effective rate was 83.7% (36/43) in the group A, which was superior to that of 70.0% (28/40) in the group B (P < 0.05). The improvements of all indices in two groups were more significant than those before treatment (all P < 0.01), and symptom score, Schober test score and VAS score in group A were superior to those in the group B (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). No adverse reaction occurred in the group A.
CONCLUSIONThe therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with vessel pricking therapy for AS is preferable without any adverse effects, which is superior to that of oral administration of SASP.

10.Screening for consecutive patient population with suspected CAD by 64-slice CT coronary angiography.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the screening for consecutive patient population with suspected Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CAD) by noninvasive 64-slice computed tomographic coronary angiography.
METHODS2082 consecutive symptomatic subjects (1218 males, 868 female, with, mean age of 58.2 years old) with suspected CAD underwent MSCT studies. And 218 patients underwent coronary angiography within 7 days. Invasive coronary angiography was taken as golden standard for calculations of diagnostic accuracy.
RESULTSOf 2082 subjects, 2063 (99.1%) were assessable, the mean examination duration was 4 minutes. Compared with CAG, the sensitivity of CTA to diagnose significant stenosis was 97.4%, specificity 90.1%, positive predictive value (PPV) 91.8% and negative predictive value (NPV) 96.8%.
CONCLUSIONSixty-four-MSCT is accurate, convenient, noninvasive, safe means to coronary angiography with economic benefit. Thus, it can be considered as a valuable noninvasive screening technique.
