In this paper, Liuwei Dihuang pill was used to study the identification of Chinese patent medicine by fluorescence sequencing typing technology. The DNA of Paeonia suffruticosa was used as template to amplify by five pair of FAM fluorescence labeling primers. Then, the amplified products were sequenced. The sequencing results were analyzed by GeneMarker V1.80 to screen the best fluorescence labeling primers. As a result, psbA-trnH fluorescence labeling primer was used to identify the raw materials of Liuwei Dihuang pill. The results showed that three kinds of raw plant medicinal materials in Liuwei Dihuang pill were able to be correctly identified by psbA-trnH fluorescence labeling primer. The fluorescence sequencing typing technology can stably and accurately distinguish raw medicinal materials in Chinese patent medicine.

Objective To compare the lower limb alignment and prosthesis position after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) with or without using electromagnetic navigation. Methods Sixty-four patients (100 knees) underwent TKA under electromagnetic navigation, while 62 patients (100 knees) underwent conventional TKA.Three months after operation, the mechanical axial line angle and prosthesis position (angels α,β,γ) were measured via the full-length radiograph of both lower limbs and anteriorposterior and lateral Xrays of the knee. Results The average mechanical axial line angle and angle α were 1.20°±1.92°and 89.33°±1.64° in navigation group, respectively, and 2.31°±2.25° and 88.68°±2.57° in conventional group. And the differences were significant with regard to the above two indexes between two groups. The average angle β and angle γ were 89.64°±1.47° and 90.86°±2.37° in navigation group, respectively, and 89.26°±2.05° and 90.59°±3.44° in conventional group. However, the differences were not significant with regard to the above two indexes between two groups. After operation, mechanical axial line angle error was within ±3°in 86% of patients in navigation group, while in 79% of patients in conventional group; there was no significant difference between them. The angle α error was within 90°±3° in 92% of patients in navigation group, while in 77% of patients in conventional group; there was significant difference between them. However, there were no significant differences in percentage of patients whose errors of angle β and angle γ were within 90°±3° between two groups. Conclusion With using electromagnetic navigation in TKA,more precise prosthesis position and the mechanical axis can be achieved compared with the conventional technique. And its advantages mainly contribute to the coronal plane of the femoral side rather than the tibial side.

Objective To investigate the functional esophageal dismotility in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) by simultaneous high frequency intraluminal ultrasonography(HFIUS) and esophageal manometry, and evaluate the correlation between the peak pressure and the peak muscle thickness of the esophagus.Besides,to identify the potential efficacy and feasibility of the HFIUS for evaluating the functional gastrointestinal diseases(FGIDs).Methods Ten GERD patients and 5 healthy controls were enrolled into this study.High-frequency ultrasonic probe and esophageal manometry catheter were simultaneous administrated. The cross sectional image of esophageal motion was recorded by HFIUS and was analyzed by the contractility index (CI)of the longitudinal smooth muscle(LSM)and circular smooth muscle(CSM),the duration of the contraction (DC)and the maximum cross section area(CSA)during distension; In addition, esophageal peak pressure during wet-swaltow was measured by manometry. Results Tile contractility index of the LSM and CSM of esophagus at 5 cm,10 cm,1 5 cm and 20 em proximal to the LES was significantly lower in patients with GERD than that of controls(P<0.05).The duration of the contraction was longer in patients with GERD.But there was no siginificant difference of the maximum CSA during distension between GERD patients and normal controls(P>0.05).However,the simultaneous manometry only demonstrated nonspecific esophageal motility disorder on 6 of 10 GERD patients. And there was positive correlation between the peak pressure and the peak muscle thickness at all sites along the axis of the esophagus, revealed the pressure was increasing along with the thickening of the esophageal muscle layers(r=0.552-0.736).Conclusions Functional esophageal dismotility played an important role in the pathogenesis of GERD.Meanwhile, there was positive correlation between the esophageal pressure and the muscle layer thickness of the esophagus.HFIUS can detect the minor changes of the layer structure of the esophagus and is a potentially useful imaging modality for evaluating esophageal dismotility as well as FGIDs.

To prepare ginseng saponin Compound K with ultrasound-assisted total zymolytic ginseng saponins. The conversion rate was taken as the index to detect the pre-treatment factors such as ultrasonic power and ultrasonic time, as well as the impact of enzymatic factors, such as pH value, temperature, concentration of substrate, dosage of enzyme and reaction time, on the conversion rate. The response surface method was used to optimize the preparation conditions. The enzymolytic products were identified with MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. The results showed that the optimum conditions of the ultrasound-assisted enzymolysis were 250 W for ultrasonic power, 15 min for ultrasonic time, 5.5 for enzymolytic pH, 50 degrees C for enzymolytic temperature, 36 h for enzymolytic time, 4:5 for enzymolytic dosage: substrate and 1.0 g x L(-1) for concentration of substrate. The relative molecular mass of reaction products was 622.4. Therefore, the nuclear magnetic map verified that the reaction product was rare ginseng saponin Compound K. Under the above conditions, based on the total zymolytic ginseng saponins, the conversion rate of rare ginseng saponin Compound K was 6.91% in proportion to the total of ginsenosides. The process features gentle reaction conditions, high conversion rate and simple and reliable process, which is suitable for industrial production.
