China Pharmacy 2017;28(21):2922-2925
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Danhong injection combined with low molecular weight heparin (LM-WH) on clinical symptoms, serum inflammatory factors and lung function in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). METHODS:A total of 146 elderly patients with COPD were randomly divided into observation group and con-trol group, with 73 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional treatment. On this basis, control group was given Dan-hong injection 30 mL,intravenous drip, once a day. Observation group was additionally given LMWH sodium injection 5000 IU, subcutaneously, twice a day,on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated for 14 d. Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were observed and compared. The clinical symptom score, the levels of IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,pa(O2),pa(CO2) and the occurrence of ADR were compared before and after treatment. RESULTS:After treatment, the total response rate of observa-tion group was significantly higher than that of control group(93.15%vs. 78.08%,P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statis-tical significance between above indexes (P>0.05). After treatment, individual clinical symptom score, total clinical symptom score, the levels of IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,pa(CO2)in 2 groups were significantly lower than before;the observation group was signif-icantly lower than the control group;FEV1,FEVl/FVC,pa(O2) were significantly higher than before, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on conventional treatment,Danhong injection combined with LMWH is effective in the treatment of senile COPD,and can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, serum inflammatory factors levels and pulmonary function with good safety.

Dao-di Herbs is specificity and locality, and its unique phenotypic features is closely related to the growth and development of medicinal plants. In addition to traditional genetic, epigenetic play an important role in formation of Dao-di herbs. This paper introduces the concept of epigenetic and the role of DNA methylation in the gene expression regulation. We further prospects epigenetic mechanism in study of Dao-di herbs formation from specific phenotype and regional analysis. And study on the relationship of epigenetic and Dao-di herbs will provide a basis for quality assessment and identification of Chinese drugs.

Journal of International Oncology 2013;(4):294-297
Liposarcoma is the most common soft tissue sarcoma.Liposarcoma is widely diverse in the clinical, pathological, and molecular characteristics.Surgery is still the mainstay of liposarcoma therapy and the only cure way. With the development of molecular biology,as well as the discovery of molecular pathways, oncogenes and anti-oncogenes,it is possible to treat liposarcoma with targeted drugs.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(6):1023-1026
In the research field of quality control in Chinese medicinal materials, variation in active ingredients of medicinal plant is always the key and hot issues. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technologies and reducing cost, a large numbers of genes from medicinal plant were cloning and provide a solid foundation for further research of gene structure and its biological function, and also provides conditions for explore active ingredient variation and its quality control from the perspective of molecular pharmacognosy. This paper introduces the concept of homologous gene, gene duplication and classification. We prospect the function of duplicated genes in the role of molecular mechanism research about variation in active ingredients, aiming at providing a new way for medicinal materials quality control.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(3):390-394
We collected 22 cultivated population of Lonicera japonica from 17 areas. The characteristics of non-glandular hairs were observed and measured by the scanning electron microscopy. The principal components analysis and correlation analysis were conduct based on length and density of L. japonica. The results showed a significant negative correlation between length and density of non-glandular hairs, and the characteristics of non-glandular was not corrrelated significantly with latitude. The correlation results indicated that the density was a key to separate "Damaohua" and "Jizhuahua". The contribution of climate and soil was important to the cultivated population. This reminded that the characteristics of non-glandular hairs were affected by environmental and genetic interaction.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(12):1581-1588
High resolution melting (HRM), based on melting curve analysis, requires not only saturating dyes that fluoresce in the presence of double-stranded DNA, but also higher resolution detection equipment. The melting curve is a novel method for sequence matching, genotyping and mutation scanning. The technology is simple, accurate, rapid, closed-tube, low-cost, and high-throughput, which make it gain more and more applications. This review article presents the basic principles, key factors and both the advantage and limitations of HRM. The potential application is discussed in the study of molecular identity of traditional Chinese medicine.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(8):1379-1385
Sixty-three morphological traits from 743 specimens of the 41 taxa within the cultivated Lonicera japonica were observed and measured, such as the height of plants, the length of leaf, the width of leaf, the length of anther, the alabastrum's number of one branch, the color of alabastrum and so on. A numerical taxonomy is presented by using the cluster analysis, principal components analysis (PCA) and factor analysis. Sixteen of 63 characters were screened by means of PCA and used for cluster analysis of 41 taxa with the method of Ward linkage and average euclidean distance. The cluster analysis showed that the 41 taxa could be divided into 5 groups when the Euclidean distance coefficient was 11.84. The factor analysis indicated that the shape of leaf, color of alabastrum, the pilosity and color of twiggery were of significance for the cultivated L. japonica classification. The results of this study will be a base for the core collection and breeding of L. japonica.
