Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2012;21(3):183-186
The incidence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in multiple myeloma patients is higher than that of normal population. In this review, recent advances about thrombosis in multiple myeloma are studied, including the mechanism, risk factors, therapy and prevention of thrombosis.
2.Update of novel agents in treating relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(6):375-377
The treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma has always been a problem among hematologic malignant tumor treatment.Compared with the initial therapy, there are worse therapeutic effects and more affecting factors of selecting treatment since the existence of drug resistance in relapsed myeloma. In this review, the therapeutic effects of single and combinational use of several novel agents such as thalidomide, lenalidomide and bortezomib were evaluated in treating relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma. The clinical results of some new anti-myeloma agents were also reported.
3.Content Determination of Icariin in Fuchun Tablets with Reversed-phase High-efficiency Liquid Chromatography
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(01):-
A simple, rapid and accurate method is described for the determination of icariin in Fuchun Tablets by reversed-phase high-efficiency liquid chromatography. The samples were first extracted with 70% alcohol for 50 minutes The resulting solutions were chromatographed on aYWG-C18 column.By using a mobile phase of methanoltetrahydrofuran-water (26.5:15.9:56.7) and a detection wavelength at 274 nm, the recovery for 101.02%, CV=2.4%,are obtained. The method can be employed for the quality control of Fuchun Tablets.
4.Intraductal papilloma of parotid gland in 1 case
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2014;(5):727-728
1 case of intraductal papilloma of parotid gland was analyzed by means of clinicopathologic data,hematoxylin-eosin and immuno-histochemical staining.Combined with the relevant literature, clinical pathological features, diagnosis and treatment of the salivary gland intra-ductal papilloma were discussed.
5.Comparison and selective preference of preparation methods of platelet-rich gel
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(3):476-481
BACKGROUND:Platelet-rich plasma gel contains some kinds of growth factors, which play important roles in repair of local trauma and bone defects. Platelet-rich plasma gel is now more and more studied as tissue engineering scaffolds, but there are no unified preparation methods.
OBJECTIVE:To summarize the studies about the preparation methods of platelet-rich plasma gel and the growth factors in platelet-rich plasma gel in recent years, and to compare different methods in order to find which one is better.
METHODS:A online search of PubMed database from January 1980 to January 2013 and China National Knowledge Infrastructure from January 1980 to January 2013 was performed with the key words of“platelet-rich plasma, platelet-rich plasma gel, tissue engineering”in English and Chinese, respectively. The studies about detection and preparation methods of platelet-rich plasma were included and those unrelated to platelet-rich plasma were excluded. Final y, 322 articles were gained and 67 articles were included in result analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al preparation methods have their advantages. We should select the suitable method according to the goal of study. With the further study of platelet-rich plasma, it wil become more and more important for bone defect repair and tissue engineering research.
6.Study on the possibility of differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal cells into endithelial cells in vitro
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(01):-
[Objective]To study the possibility of differentiation of rabbit marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)into endothelial cells in vitro.[Method]BMSCs of rabbits were obtained by using gradient centrifuge method. The adhesive cells were preserved to passage culture to get pure MSCs.MSCs in the second generation were used. After induction with vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),microscopic exarm, cytoimmunofluorescent staining confirmd the trial group cells becomes to endothelial cells.W-P corpuscles which was the symbol of endothelial cells were observed by transmission electron microscope.[Result]The differentiated cells demonstrated the characters of endothelial cells under phase contrast microscopy. The cytoimmunofluore-scent staining showed that the trial group cells were induced to endothelial cells.W-P corpuscles could be seen under transmission electron microscope.[Conclusion]The adult rabbit BMSCs can present features of endothelial cells in certain induction medium, they are ideal donor cells of tissue engineering vascularization.
8.Tissue factor and its development of uncoagulation
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Tissue factor (TF), a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular mass of 47000, plays an important role of coagulation within vessel wall. Recently, people also present that TF have identifying and regulating function in cells signaling. And it contributes in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, angiogenesis and restenosis. This review presents the development of TF in above mentioned .
9.Effects of calcium and calreticulin on cardiomyocytes
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;11(3):592-595,600
OBJECTIVE: To elucidate the important role of calcium and calreticulin in cardiomyocyte.DATA SOURCES: We searched PubMed database for articles about the role of calcium and calreticulin in the cardiomyocyte published in English from January 1994 to December 2005 with the key words of "Ca2+, calreticulin, cardiomyocytes/ cardiac myocyte, differentiation".STUDY SELECTION: The retrieved data were selected primarily and articles about the important role of calcium and calreticulin in the cardiomyocyte were selected. Meanwhile, articles of repetitive research were excluded.DATA EXTRACTION: Totally 200 articles were researched, 42 were included, and 158 were excluded.DATA SYNTHESIS: Investigation on the molecular structure of the intracellular Ce2+ release channels (RyR and IP3R) on the endoplasmic reticulum and sarcoplasmic reticulum and structure of crt gene manifests that these channels co-participate in the regulation of calcium homeostasis with calreticulin, which plays a key role in cardiac development and differentiation.CONCLUSION: Intracellular free Ca2+ is a critical second messenger in heart. Alterations in intracellular Ca2+ homeostasis have profound effects on cardiac functions such as contraction-relaxation and cardiac development. Intracellular Ca2+ homeostasis is maintained primarily via the endoplasmic reticulum, within which, Ca2+ is mainly bound to calreticulin.Knockout of crt gene is embryonically lethal due to impaired cardiac development.
10.Black-box teaching method in pathophysiology education
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2005;0(05):-
Most content of pathophysiology is built by black-box method.Pathophysiology learning is a process from black-box to grey box and white-box.Therefore,black-box teaching method is a good way to train students efficiently and rapidly. It fits pathophysiology education wel1.During teaching of pathophysilogical theory and experimental classes,we should carefully design various black-boxes,and introduce students try to resolve the black-box problems,so as to interest students in pathophysiology and train them the capability to analyse and resolve problems.
