1.Assessment of family environment of neurosis patients and the relativity analysis with the relapse
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(08):-
Objective To assess the family environment of neurosis patients and its affect to the prognosis. Methods The gender, knowledge, contact time for each week, yearly income,city/countryside and the factors of FES-CV were compared between the patients" family and normal family and the correction between the relapse and the family factors of the patients were analysed. Results Expressed emotion and intimacy of the patients' family were evidently lower than those of the normal family, but the factor of control the former was higher than that of the latter.Expressed emotion and intimacy were correlative with the relapse. Conclusion Family environment has the important influence on the maintenance and the relapse of the neurosis.
2.Determination of telomerase activity in exfoliated cells in urine for the diagnosis of bladder carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(04):-
Objective In order to find a more sensitive and specific noninvasive assay for the diagnosis of bladder carcinoma, the authors tested the exfoliated cells from patient′s voided urine for the presence of telomerase activity and evaluated its clinical significance. Methods PCR-ELISA assay was used to determine the presence of telomerase activity in voided urine samples from patients with bladder carcinoma, fhematuria of benign causes and from normal, healthy volunteers. Results Telomerase activity was detected in 14 of 18 tumor samples, while none of the hematuria samples and normal, healthy volunteers′ samples. Conclusions Telomerase activity could be detected in most urine samples of bladder carcinoma patients and it is more sensitive and specific than other assays, therefore, would be a good diagnostic marker.
3.The influence of early mechanical ventilation and perfluorocarbons gasification inhalation on inflammatory factor levels in patients with severe pancreatitis
Chongqing Medicine 2013;(30):3599-3600,3603
Objective To investigate the clinical effect by early mechanical ventilation and perfluorocarbons gasification inhala-tion on patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) complicated with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) .Methods 34 cases of SAP and ARDS patients accepted early mechanical ventilation and vaporization of perfluorocarbon inhalation therapy (ob-servation group) ,and 34 patients received mechanical ventilation for early treatment alone (control group) ,The efficacy ,oxygenation index(PaO2/FiO2 ) and inflammatory cytokines IL-1 ,6 ,8 ,and TNF-a level of two groups were compared .Results The total effi-ciency of the observation group was 94 .12% ,which was significantly higher than the control group that was 76 .47% (P<0 .05) . After treatment ,the arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2 ) ,arterial oxygen pressure (PaO2 ) ,PaO2/FiO2 of the observation group in-creased significantly ,and higher than the control group(P<0 .05) .After treatment ,IL-1 ,6 ,8 ,TNF-αof the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The treatment of early mechanical ventilation with perfluorocar-bon inhalation gasification could control the inflammation in patients with SAP complicated with AROS ,which could improve the cure rate .
4.Animal models of Peyronie's disease: An update.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(5):446-449
Peyronie's disease is characterized by local fibrosis of the tunica albuginea and relatively rare clinically. Few relevant basic researches could be retrieved, which might be attributed to the absence of a robust animal model of the disease as well as to its rareness. At present, some animal models available for Peyronie's disease have their own merits and demerits. TGF-β1-induced and Fibrin-induced models are lack of penile curvature and calcification/ossification. A surgical model might be established for the acute phase of the disease. The characteristic of a widespread fibrotic process involving many organs in the spontaneous model is quite different from that of human Peyronie's disease. Therefore, choosing the right model is essential for researches. This paper presents an overview of the animal models of Peyronie's disease, meant to provide some reference for the basic research of the disease.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2001;26(2):143-145
Objective The aim of this paper was to investigate endothelial dysfunction, platelet activation, and inflammation in elderly hypertensive patients and those complicated with cerebral infarction. Methods Twenty-eight elderly hypertensive patients complicated with cerebral infarction(within 72 hours after onset of neurological symptoms),thirty-one Stage Ⅰ~Ⅱelderly hypertensive patients and twenty-eight elderly healthy individuals were selected as subjects.Their plasma concentrations of von Willebrand factor(vWF), alpha granule membrane protein-140(GMP-140), and serum concentrations of C-reaction protein(CRP) were examined. Results Elderly hypertensive patients complicated with cerebral infarction had significantly higher plasma vWF, GMP-140, and serum CRP than elderly hypertensive patients and elderly healthy individuals. Plasma vWF and GMP-140 were higher in elderly hypertensive patients than elderly healthy individuals, whereas serum CRP was increased slightly and there was no significant difference between elderly hypertensive patients and elderly healthy individuals. Conclusion This study suggests that elderly hypertensive patients complicated with cerebral infarction have obvious endothelial dysfunction, platelet activation, and inflammatory change. Stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ elderly hypertensive patients have obvious endothelial dysfunction and platelet activation as well.
9.Human Papillomavirus Infection and Increased Risk of HIV Acquisition:A Meta-analysis of Case-control Studies
Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2016;(1):92-95
Objective To evaluate the impact of human papillomavirus(HPV)infection on the risk of HIV acquisition in the female group. Methods Searched PubMed,EMbase,Coehrane Library,CNKI,wanfang database and Chinese Biomedical Lit-erature Database etc for articles about HIV-acquisition in HPV infected female patients. The quality of the literature were e-valuated according to standards of inclusion and exclusion.Data was extracted and methodologically quality evaluated by two independent investigators.Meta-analysis was accomplished using RevMan4.2 software. Results 6 articles were included, all of them were randomized controlled trials,a total of 9 606 cases studied.HIV infection risk was doubled in women with any HPV infection(OR= 2.02,95% CI:1.48 ~ 2.77),demonstrating High-risk HPV-positive (OR= 2.50,95% CI:1.73 ~3.61)and low-risk HPV-positive (OR=2.10,95% CI:1.48~2.96)respectively.Funnel plot analysis revealed no signifi-cant publication bias on HPV genotypes. Conclusion The analysis of selected research suggests the risk of HIV infection was increased in HPV-positive women.HPV vaccine may have some preventive effect on HIV infection.

Military Medical Sciences 2016;40(2):158-161
Tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis ( TWEAK ) is a member of the superfamily .TWEAK binds to its receptor [ fibroblast growth factor-inducible 14 ( Fnl4 ) and the serum level of soluble CD 163 ( sCD163 ) ] and regulates many cellular activities via associated signal pathways ,including proliferation, migration, differentiation, apoptosis, angiogenesis and inflammation ,which play a significant role in the formation and development of cardiovascular diseases , such as atherosclerosis , heart failure , cardiomyopathy , and peripheral vascular disease .This review summarizes functions of TWEAK and its receptor in cardiovascular diseases .
